Uploaded the latest Hazel theme and it completely overwrote my site. The Select Options were not on the left toolbar to even try to correct the issues. Luckily I had backed up the site and was able to restore it. Please advise as to what is going on with this latest update.

Please, note that we added new Hazel Core plugin. So, after doing theme update, you need to install/activate this plugin, too. Just follow message from dashboard about it. Then, you’ll see Select Options, and just open it to hit “save changes” button to generate new static scripts with your settings. Everything should be working well after.

Hello! I’m wondering why your headings in post pages are set in h3 and not in h1, there is any special reason? Because I’ve got a client using your Hazel theme, and this thing is causing a bit problem with the SEO. Are you considering changing this or it will still in h3? Thanks a lot!

There’s no special reason for this. You can always change h tags from appropriate template file. Here’s the one for blog single titles

On Contact page you just have contact form and in some part sticky header is showing. and on the main page of the store is empty
sticky header is very cool, but where does it come from
header.sticky.sticky_animate, header.fixed { padding-top: 32px !important; }
This amount is because of admin toolbar when you are logged in. So, sticky header will appear after it. WooCommerce is working well with latest theme version, we have just checked. Thank you for the recent update to the Hazel theme.
There seems to be a new bug/issue with loading the correct Google Fonts since the update. We are using the font Enriqueta in different weights and it now only seems to load the 400 weight instead of our selected 700.

Yes, we do have the Hazel Core plugin installed and I have double checked and the Select Options are correct.
The CSS is referencing the correct weight but the @font-face rule is only requesting the 300 and 400 weights from Google no matter what we select.

WPBakery is our primary and main page builder for all themes. Unfortunately we didn’t test any other, so we don’t know how would it work, sorry about that.

Updated the theme just now the same manner as always. Replaced the contents of the hazel folder with the new. When i did so, my logo defaulted to saying “Hazel”, formatting and fonts were wrong, and I didn’t have Select Options in my menu. Was this something I did incorrectly or could there be an issue with the update? Thankfully have had a backup of the theme files. Thanks!

Please make sure you installed Hazel Core plugin and that your theme version is 4.0. Then make sure you have Updated Hazel Child Theme to 1.1

I have followed that same update procedure (replacing the files in the hazel folder) for several years now. I tried it again today to see if I messed up, but it did the same thing again. Hazel logo up top replaced my logo and I no longer had Select Options.
I do not know anything about a Hazel Core Plugin. Is this a plugin that should be under the plugin menu or something else? We have had them theme for years and have never seen it. Also, the only updates I have done was the main theme update as listed in the link you sent. I know nothing about updating the child theme.
I have never had a problem updating in the past. It is very strange. Thank you for your help.

This is a major update for Hazel theme, that includes Hazel Core plugin. This is now required plugin that can be installed from notification on the top of the window, after theme update. Or you can find it if you open up your FTP account under
wp-content\themes\hazel\pluginsThe same procedure for parent theme update counts for child theme.

I have bought the the Hazel theme and I am happy with it. I would like to use a new demo site/new skin version which is different from my current version (update the website with a new look). I plan to do this via a subdomain. My question is – can I use the same license I have purchased from you because I want to use the same theme Hazel?

Each installation requires separate license. For example if you install the theme on another domain, you create a new instance. now its over 4 years ago that you have the glass demos on ‘coming soon’. In previous comments you said they are on hold. I guess they will never come. So why pretending there will be updates?

Apologies about that. We were focused on developing new themes afterwards and didn’t get around to completing those demos. If the opportunity arises we’ll add them. Please note that Hazal Glass contains the same features as the other skins; you could import one of the existing Glass demos to get the styles we set and then create your own page layouts with WPBakery.

Now its about 6 Years ago that you said the glass demos are ‘coming soon’. The three that are available are 6 Years marked as ‘new’. this is just deception. You just want that it looks like you are offering more than you actually do. Really bad practice.

Unfortunately, we did encounter difficulties with the design of those demos which were meant to be released. Later on as we already mentioned, we put a focus on developing new themes which was a priority. So the making of new demos for Hazel has been prolonged, and question is now if it will be released. We will for sure pass this to our managers and they will decide if this will happen in the future. Until then, this will be corrected on our Themeforest page.
As we already mentioned earlier, you could import one of the existing Glass demos to get the styles we set and then create your own page layouts with WPBakery.

Hi, I have a problem with Hazel theme after updating Wordpress 5.0 a week ago. Before the update I used WPBakery Page Builder to edit all the pages. Now all the information I put before the update is is seen as a code. The WPBakery version of the content by blocks has disappeared. WP Bakery service indicates that those who get this WP Bakery editor within the theme, should ask an author of the theme to update the editor version. How this could be resolved?

I am trying to run sidebar items on the hazel theme and it doesn’t appear that I can. I want to run ads on my website as well. Anyone have a suggestion here. I also have a problem with posting not sure if the them I have is simply old from 2016 or what but it is taking me triple the time to post anything and have proper spacing. Help!
