Great theme, love it so far. My only problem however is that my homepage slider does not slider automatically even after I set it to (in Visual editing mode) Still won’t slide for me automatically. The site is www.prophetderekmiller.com

I’m having an issue with blurry images when using your theme. For example, if I set woocommerce catgeory product block to full width, they will be blurry. Same with posts. It’s not adjusting to the proper size and displaying image version that’s too small.

My checkout page dropdown boxes have stopped working – the Country and State dropdown boxes in particular. I’ve tried removing my own css and disabling ALL plugins (except for WooCommerce).

what is the best way to generate a site with two different designs, we have two logos that should show on one site and there child-sites and some lines different css on these sites. is it possible to use two child themes of salient with the plugin “multiple themes” or is it possible to change the logo with this https://themenectar.ticksy.com/article/10605/ also for the child sites with the claases parent-pageid-10 ? Or is it possible to generate an extra template for these sites? Thanks for your help
Hey haoe, I have not personally tested the plugin “multiple themes”, however the javascript listed in the article you linked could be used as many times as needed. If you also are needed to change theme options for these pages, you may want to just consider using a multisite WP install with sub-directories instead of sub-domains.

I’ve successfully set up my custom post types to be edited using visual composer. But I’d like them to display the same as posts, and to do that what’s missing is the Page Header Settings meta box down the bottom which appear on the posts, pages and portfolio items.
In the CPT UI options there appears to be the facility to easily integrate the correct Salient meta boxes… (I attached a screenshot in my email).
My problem is the the settings I’m using (nectar-metabox-page-header, nectar-metabox-fullscreen-rows) don’t seem to work. Am I on the right track here? Do you know what the correct values are?

add_action( 'media_buttons', 'nectar_buttons', 100 );
You could conditionally remove that via a child theme after doing whatever conditional checks you desire.

I’m wanting to have a single image fill the height / width of a 1/2 page column (full width content is set); it’s in a ‘full height row’ page; there’s so many settings in VC it’s hard to know what settings best to use.
Whether I set up a ‘Static Image’ or use the ‘Background Image’ setting, it works ok on some browser window sizes, but when I change the size of the browser window, even after I refresh the page, the image often won’t fill the height of the row, only the width.
Is there no simple way to ensure the image always fills the column?
Nevermind, got it sorted! Needed to select ‘Full Height’ under ‘Full Screen Row Position’

I’m using the “Highlighted text” element on some section headers, specifically the Fancy underline version of it.
Anyway that I can using some custom css to control the opacity of the underline/background color behind the text? I’d like it completely solid.

Regarding the chrome scroll issue.
If i decide to not update the theme and change from ‘ascend’ to ‘material’ what will this alter in terms of look and feel?
I’d like to do this, but if it’s going to dramatically change the look/feel/appearance of things then it’s not something i can do on a live site.

You can freely switch back and forth between theme skins in the theme options without worrying about loosing anything – if you end up not liking the skin, changing to your previous one is easy. Also, it will not dramatically change things. It mostly effects the search bar style, header icon sizing, button roundness and default input styles.

because the full page plugin script uses a custom javascript solution for any content that overflows, this would require custom development as of now to make it work with regular anchors inside of sections. The full page option can only easily navigation to sections themselves via hash links. You would need to disable the full page option to allow that to work how you’re trying to set it up currently.
Darn. Is there a way to disable Full Screen but keep the side nav bar?

1. The sidebar dot nav is specific to the full page screen rows as of now, the next closest thing you could do would be to use a slide out from hover based off canvas navigation and keep the hash links in there.
2. Are you referring to a row BG? When editing any row, you can set the “parallax BG speed” to “fixed” in the animation tab – see here: https://ibb.co/NKgC25D
That row option is only available in non-Full Page Screen Rows though? Is there a way to fix the background in Full Page Screen Rows?

Yes, you can add a phone number to the main navigation via a custom link or above the main navigation by using the Secondary header layout, which you can enable in the Salient options panel > header navigation > layout related tab.

We’ve also noticed the themes mobile logo is used in as the persistant desktop menu logo, this is creating issues with overlapping. Can you let us know some css so we can separate those and use different images as it just doesn’t work the way it is.

Does salient have CSS styling for the woocommerce composite product extension?
I spoke to the Woocommerce support they said that the theme is missing css styling for this extension so things on the product page don’t look to good, for example the quantity selector is just a number with nothing to suggest it is the quantity. Also selected component product images display at full width forcing the other content underneath rather that to the side.
