Hello, with every ReHub update all the widgets disappear, and I have to re-install and re-write all widgets sections. Am I missing something?
I guess you used deactivation before each update, right?
Anyway, even if you lose widgets, you can find them in Inactive section in end of page
However, on my website this section displays with a gray background. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

Currently, old way is deprecated as it doesn’t fit to new styles of theme. I recommend you add title to filter panel for best design style

it was early, we replaced by Product schema which is much stable and has much more chances to get star snippet.

We don’t have it. But you can use any custom plugin for schema and disable theme’s schema in theme option – review option

There is no option to have a theme without menu?
This option doesn’t have a sense. Users must see menu to navigate across site. If you want to disable menu for landing page, you can disable menu in right panel
