We’re seeing a big update for Geodirectory. The big message in admin says we need to update to GeoDirectory v2 Upgrade. Will you be doing this update in the theme so that we don’t have to do it manually ourselves? Kindle confirm,becaue GeoDirectory v2 Upgrade is warning that this is a big change in their new v2

Please tell us why we still see that warning after we updated theme to latest version yesterday. Also, kindly tll us how to fix it. And GeorDirectory warning says that we will lose widgets and need to reset severla areas in our theme and site after updated to Grodirectory V2. Pls provide step by step how to fix this and tell us if we will lose anythigng + gentle detailed guide to fix this.Thanks!!
Plugin data is different from theme data or logic. We do not have the power to change the data the plugin adds. You need to migrate your old Geodirectory data using the plugin author guides. We just made sure that when you update to newer plugin version, the site will look fine.
PS: Always do backups before proceeding with this kind of updates to your database.
Last update broke all the vc kleo shortcodes for our previous blog post grid as well as the post carousel. It now just displays the actual shortcode instead of the content. Also had the issue of not being able to access theme options stating “You are not allowed to view this page” or something. There are a few other quirks I can’t quite think of also which we had to find a quick fix to get the site back working to some degree.

Just wanted you to know the newest Kleo update breaks the forum when you press submit, when you post on the forum after pressing submit you get a white page with a comma (,) at the top left side. I found out it was the Kleo theme update by restoring my site over 10 times testing every plugin and update and it was the Kleo update. It also will give a sheer gray page when trying to login from the top tool bar but once I restored it to before the newest update it was fixed. Please tell me when these bugs are fixed so I can update my site.

If I want to sell membership & have an online directory of those members, do they need to sign up twice: once through BuddyPress and again through MembershipPro? Are the two connected? For my purposes it is imperative that the two are connected so I can manage 1 user profile per member.

When you have two search form , both have a same profile field (input type : text) in the search form, when you display both form in a page , if type any thing in the same field on the second form, not searching for anything… but if you type something in the same field on the first form… it will do the searching…

Hi guys, my code isnt working to verify my purchase in the demo install page. My problem is the code is linked to another database which the domain is expired so I cant get in to change it. And I did a test on another website yesterday to install and had a server problem. So I got a new hosting last night, installed my theme. My last comment regarding the Lightbox ist solved: There were demo-posts from the theme that loaded the pictures. Other issue in kleo theme bbpress forums: new entries are not highlighted/marked, everything looks the same. Using plugins like bbp style pack (smashes the css) or bbpress pencil unread (adds only blue bars) are useless in this case…what can I try to get new topics/entries highlighed?
Hello, I haven’t tested that plugin and how it interacts with our theme but you can check the Css styles in your browser console and try to override some of them to fix the appearance. Cheers

I’m having an issue with the “Kleo menu” item. The menu items such as login, logout don’t show in the Kleo menu dropdown.
I wanted to open a ticket but my support was expired and because of that I can’t even submit the ticket. I have other themes and they support on minor issues which are not really a part of “support”. This is not cool.
The second problem: After I failed submitting a ticket, I wanted to post on your forum. Guess what, I can’t login with my support credentials to forum.

When I try to register forums it redirects to support home which I have already registered. This is an endless loop which is perfect if you are trying to avoid customers. Again, not cool.
I refuse to pay another fee for support for such an issue. Because it’s not a matter of support, it’s a matter of a feature not working that is supposed to work.

I haven’t seen that issue reported so please make sure you have the theme and K Elements plugin active. We are not trying to avoid customers, the support site is moved and all user accounts are registered on the new site.

K Elements was already active. Otherwise how would I see the Kleo dropdown in the Menus like the in the screenshot.
So far what I’ve tried:
- Used Chrome, Firefox, Opera. Didn’t work.
- Uninstalled theme, downloaded fresh one from Envato because I was updating from within WP for a long time. Didn’t work.
- Disabled security plugin and tried. No luck.
- Disabled all other plugins. Again no chance.
I don’t know what to do. Any ideas?

I’ve tried a brand new Wordpress installation. Just Wordpress and Kleo on top of it. It’s not working.

And I wouldn’t have to go through all this nonsense. I’m now seriously thinking of switching to another theme altogether.
Yes, restricting ticket submissions to only the ones with support subscription is avoiding customers leaving the only way to communicate is through Themeforest comments which is outrageous.
If I had known this practice of yours, which is a bad practice, before I purchased your theme, I’d probably chosen a different one.
Let me clarify what you probably are not thinking:
How much is a support fee for 6 months? 40 dollars, give or take. I can purchase a new theme for 40 or 60 dollars, support included. Why would in this case someone pay a support fee in a business mindset?
So what are we going to do now?

Hello, I can assure you we are not trying to take advantage of anything, it is clearly stated what you get when purchasing the theme, you get 6 months of support from us and lifetime updates. This is how it always was.
Of course that is if it is a theme related thing we always update and fix any reported problems. If there is something you need or something wrong with your install then I find it fair to pay for support if you need help from our team.

I have no problem paying for support after the first 6 months. The problem here is that you want to charge for communications. There is no way of communicating with you unless we customers pay for it or here on comments section of Themeforest.
I hope I’m clear. You respond like I want free support, I don’t. However I should be able to freely communicate with you on your platform.
On the other hand. I’m already switching to another theme I already had. I’m not comfortable using a product whose developers want paid communications (again not paid support).
At this point I don’t care whether you fix things or not. I already lost a lot of time on this.
