Theme option Photography 3 : about us

I wanna change the icon image to an uploaded image by me.

I see this raw: [porto_info_box icon_type=”custom” icon_img=”370” img_width=”86”

icon_img=”370” is where I can change image. How should I change it to use any image here?

That section is set using Porto Info Box element, and if you want to change the Icon with your Custom Image, Please edit the Porto Info Box element and you will find an option “Icon to Display”, set it as “Custom Image Icon” and set the image in it as per your requirements, Please see this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/IfYJiUX.png

2] If i modify files from the theme for some minor changes, such as colors, icons or something, should i use child theme for not losing any changes after i update the porto theme or wordpress?

1. Please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check your site after removing the browser cache, It will solve your issue.

}


2. If you simply want to change the color you can use Custom CSS for that and paste that Custom CSS into Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS, you will not loose it when ever you will update the Theme and if you want to change some minor changes in the Theme core files then please use Child Theme for it as it will help you and will not removed when ever you will update the Theme.

Hi! The site is great, many customizations where you can choose from, love it. I have only one problem and that is that I use the Purchase Code on a test website and now I need it to use it in the original, I can’t since it was used. I had no idea that by uninstalling it from one I could not enter it into the other. Is there any solution for this?

Hi , After the last update, the homepage interactive banners got very large, looks like it is zoomed in and I cannot unzoom it, even If I change the Picture for a smaller one. Before the update It was perfect.

It seems to be the cache issue on your site, I can see that there is some cache plugins Installed on your site, and also the server cache is enabled too, So please first remove/flush your server cache and then deactivate it and then you have to remove the site cache and finally check your site after removing the browser cache, hope you will not find the issue Otherwise, Please contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will check and solve the issue for you.

Hi, I did the procedure a few times and nothing changed, the issue still persists. Already contacted through support and left the cache server off so you guys can work it out. Looks like this is not a cache issue, as this happened in the exact moment I updated Porto. Thank for the reply.

When adding Porto elements with Visual Composer (for example: Porto Carousel or Porto Lightbox) I can change the basic settings and click on ‘save changes’. But when the element is added Its not possible to change anything (the tools pencil, duplicate and ’+’-icon are disappeared. How to fix this?

Is there anyway to remove the [...] from the excerpt. I actually want to remove the excerpt completely, but when setting it in the theme as 1 it removes it, still the dots remain. Any php code or css to remove it,

On the other hand, I need also to link the featured image to the post permalink page, is there any php code snippet to do so?

If you are not able to see the update available onto your WP-Dashboard then there is some restrictions from your hosting provider please contact your hosting provider for this issue.

Hi! I read the comments that say Elementor is not supported with this theme. So can I use Siteorigin instead? I really don’t like WP Bakery and I would like to get rid of it completely. For me it’s becoming a real nuisance.

Sorry for the inconvenience regarding some third party plugins incompatibility issue, Elementor is not compatible yet with the Theme but we are planning to make the Theme compatible with it, So hopefully in a couple of upcoming Theme updates you will find it compatible with the Theme and Sorry to say that but we have not tested “Siteorigin” plugin with the Theme yet, If you want you can try this with the Theme.
