Hello, the support here is amazing. So I searched the internet the whole day but none of those solution work for me. You probably encountered this situation before, I believe. I want to make an affiliate store with products that link external. The thing is, I want to remove the add to cart or any text under the products. I want to have just their title and image to link to that external affiliate link without having the user to see the product page. I tried different solutions on some free themes (tested offline and worked) but none of them work for me on the porto theme. Is there any solution for this? Thank you :)

For removing Add to Cart button from Affiliate product from Shop/Category pages please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check your site after removing the browser cache.

And regarding the affiliate product takes you to the affiliate site directly from shop page, There is no Option in the Theme and WooCommerce setting for it, This requires Customization, WooCommerce has suggested a hook for it “[WooCommerce 3.0+] Open external product links (shop page) in new tab” but it only works with the “Add to Cart” Button on shop page, So if you will remove the button then it will not work: https://gist.github.com/rynaldos/6dcf9af5534e93fd2ff905ddb7e5f672

Thank you for your reply! Actually for external products if it will show the link instead the “add to cart” is not such a big problem, but I don’t know in what page to insert the code from the link you provided, because in functions.php is not working.

I have tested the above Link given code at my end and it is working fine with the Add to Cart button, but with link it is not possible, It requires Customization and if you want our paid Customization services you can contact our Customization team.

How to Post video in Product Page?

You can use the custom block option to add the video on the product page. Please create the block first from the WP Dashboar >> Block >> Add new block >> Use the Video VC element on the block and save it then copy the slug of the block and paste it to Edit the product >> Add the block slug in any fileds which are showing in this screenshot: http://prnt.sc/nyy7w9

HI i’ve purchase youre theme.. how can i set order of product attributes variations in single product view?? I mean ex. for size: XS S M L XL ... Cause when i modify product and i set order in backend (with drag function order of woo.. ) this doesn’t work. Thanks

Quick question: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop5/ How do you set the menu items to be far right on this menu style? It’s not with the logo in the middle, and cannot see how you do it. Nothing seems to be in the Menu entry to be “right” menu, for example. “Special Offer” and “Buy Porto”, is what I am referring to.

Unless it’s simply a CSS tweak?!

and it is set to right side because the header type we are using is header type 1 in which the Custom Menu Content is set to right by default please see this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/IikyX9u.png

Hi there. How could I add / show more characters regarding product titles in product preview (e.g. have smaller size or let the title written into two line). It’s because your server environment can not access to our server https://portotheme.com
Please try to ping our server and let us know if it works.

OR

Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.

OR

The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme.

And Please go to Porto >> Theme License and deactivate the Theme from there and again activate the Theme with the same purchase code and then try to Import the Demo I am sure you will not find the issue and if yes then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will Import the Demo for you.

1. It is your cache and any third party plugin confliction issue, Please first deactivate your site all the third party plugins and then contact your hosting provider and ask your hosting provider to first flush/remove the server cache from your site and then deactivate it until you are in the development process and then you have to remove the site cache and finally check your site after removing the browser cache, hope your issue will solve.

2. Sorry to say that but this is not possible with the help of element options this requires Customization.

I can see the footer area of the theme, but don’t see any means – like in the Custom Headers, to move things around to get them in. place.

Does something else have to be enabled for the Footer Top Widget to show. I have created the page, added the slug to the Porto Block widget and saved, but it is not showing.

Why would the mobile header make the search Icon white, thus disappear in a white mobile header? It seems to ‘crush’ against the Mobile ‘burger’ menu. Sent a format ticket on this issue.

It also seems to adopt the Sticky menu, as when you scroll up on a phone, the logo goes to the sticky menu logo which we set as white (normal is black).

Yes thanks for asking. I’ve sorted it now. My adjusting the padding in the mobile header, then adjusting the logo width, it all fits very nice! :)

Hello ! I can not find the settings for mobile devices. On the phone, the whole main page looks awful. But when editing in the mobile visual editor, the fullscreen view also changes.

I submitted a ticket several days ago about the various animations not working. You replied and asked me to try fresh installation, which I did and I disabled all plugins; still not working. It seems that some of the old jQuery versions are attached to the theme template, and it caused PCI scan fail, please help any idea how we update the theme Jquery version to at least 3.0?

and on your second site you are also using the 4.11.3 version of the Theme as showing in this screenshot and also you are facing some issues because of third party plugins and also the server cache is enabled on your site: https://pasteboard.co/IigNJhS.png

So please updates your Theme and Theme required/recommended plugins as well and also deactivate all the third party plugins and check your site after removing the server, site and browser cache, I am sure you will not find this issue as the latest Theme has already updated jQuery versions.

Pre-sale Question- 1. Can I hide the “category thumbnail” and just show the subcategory title on the product archives for a subcategory? 2. We have 100 plus subcategories which is too many to display a thumbnail, when just the title would be fine. btw- there is no way to go into each woo subcategory and “remove thumbnail”, it just defaults to an image.
