Good day guys Can you please provide an updated tutorial on how to make this theme look like how i purchased it. It loses all the content when I upload to word press.
It is very frustrating paying this much for themes and there is no straight forward tutorials on how to implement them especially when issues like this occur.

On that tutorials you can see how to use WP Bakery plugin but you don’t need to purchase licence for plugin because you got it bundled within the theme.
We, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for plugin. That means you don’t have to activate it and plugin will work for you regardless of that.

In the new update of the theme WPBakery page builder will be included. You can take a look at plugins’ change log, so it’s basically like the previous version. I updated the theme manually by copying / replacing the theme’s files but after that the website went down !

Probably the issue you’re facing is because the Core plugin is not updated. We did major updates of the themes and we changed our Mikado plugins, mostly Core. So we can suggest you, when you’re updating theme, to delete our plugins and WPBakery, update the theme and then install those plugins again. If you still have issues with this, please submit the ticket on https://mikado.ticksy.com/ , provide WordPress and FTP admin access and our support agent will help you.

Probably the issue you’re facing is because the Core plugin is not updated. First contact your host to return your backup before the update. So we can suggest you, when you’re updating theme, to delete our plugins and WPBakery, update the theme following those steps that we provided and then install those plugins again. After you perform these steps, if you still have issues, please write on our support mail: support@mikado-themes.com and provide there WordPress admin and FTP admin access along with explanation what is the issue you’re facing so we can help you with this ASAP.

We have tested our themes, and there shouldn’t be any compatibility issues with Wordpress 5.0. Gutenberg became the official WordPress editor from WordPress version 5.0.
