I would like to request and suggest that P-Themes PLEASE add another sitebuilder option to the Porto theme. WP Bakery is a pain to work with and I would prefer to at least be able to use Elementor or Siteorigin. WP Bakery requires that I purchase a separate license in order to update it and if I don’t I keep getting nag messages that I need to apply the update in order to use Porto.
I really don’t like this situation and I may have to use another theme. I will also avoid purchasing any themes that require me to purchase other plugins, especially WP Bakery. For the record I really enjoy using Porto and I hope P-Themes will make this adjustment. Thanks!

This plugin is already included in the theme package and already purchased the license by P-Themes. This activation message for those who want to update the plugin directly from their website. I have been struggling for a few days with selecting the header style from the theme options, but whatever header style i try it doesnt work. Each time I select a different header the header area messes up or shows blue text menu.
I tried clearing the cache but it didnt work.

This is because when you change the header type it only changes the structure of the header as defined but not the color of the header, For changing the Color of the header you have to change it from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Header and from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Main Menu as per your requirements.

When you edit Shop 19 Demo home page you will find an element named ”Porto One Page Category” right and there is no option in the element set to change/set the categories as per your requirements, It will take/show all the Products Categories that you have into Products >> Categories, so in order to add new Category you have to create a Product Category into Products >> Categories and it will automatically show on your homepage using Porto One Page Category element.
Like If you want to change the name or Icon from the left sticky menu you have to go to Product >> Categories and edit the particular Category you will find the Icon and name of the Category so you have to change the name of the category and icon from there and save changes then the menu icon and name will also change please see this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/kl2s5g

Unfortunately your reply is a generic reply and doesn’t answer my question. The Shop 19 Category thumbnails are unique, white icons, 100×100 in size. How/where do I get more of these type of images to use? Adding my own custom image distorts the look as it looks different from yours.

OH goodness. So I cannot just set a background image, and an overlay in the options of a row. We do this on another theme on a live site, and trying it out with Porto. the other site you set background image. Color Overlay, ‘Dark’, percentage. Or you set Gradient, Set the colours, left/right or /top/bottom and it’s done. It’s very easy to do.
I had hoped Porto made this just as simple, as doing it in CSS is quite a drag (most of our pages have it).

Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

You can clearly see that the Image is been set as a background image for the Row, and Row is the default element of the WP Bakery so there is no link of Porto with it, and Sorry to say that but this is not possible as you want without Custom CSS or any third party plugin.

The name and title are set under “a” tag so this is not possible to remove “a” tag only, because if you remove “a” tag using Custom CSS, it will also remove the title and name as well, So this requires Customization.

Sorry to say that but there is no way, If you have a backup of your site, then please restore it or contact your hosting provider for restoring the backup of your site if it has. Otherwise, The only way is to Import the Demo again on test site and copy the CSS from there on your main site.
