Hello, I have just updated the theme from v 2.0 to v 3.2 using, as you suggest, the Envato Market plugin.
The process worked quite well, but now in Appearance -> Themes, I see:
-> Bellevue Version 2.0 logo (if I check “Theme Details”, the Version seems to be 3.2, the logo is always “V2”);
-> Bellevue – Child Theme Version: 2.0 logo (if I check “Theme Details”, the Version seems to be 2.0, the logo is always “V2”).
Now, I’m a little confused… how do i use the child theme with version 3.2?

Hello! interesting. I guess the Envato market plugin does not include the theme image. That won’t effect the function of the theme, but you can always download the zip from ThemeForest and unzip, then move the file “screenshot.png” over top of the one in your theme folder.
As for the child theme, the version number is arbitrary. It wont’ limit the use of the parent or child theme.

Hi there, your theme looks great for our purposes, I just have a few questions though:
Is the booking system included in the price? Does the calendar on the homepage work? It’s not interactive on the demo. Does it require the paid version of Elementor? Is there any way to take deposits through the booking system? Does the booking system need WooCommerce?

1 – Is the booking system included in the price? – Yes 
2 – Does the calendar on the homepage work? – Yes, this is the availably calendar but you can also add the booking form as well.
3 – Does it require the paid version of Elementor? – No, you can upgrade to pro but you don’t have to, everything that you see on the demo can be done with the theme, no extra purchases required.
4 – Does the booking system need WooCommerce? – Yes, we bundle the add on for WooCommerce as well
So, all you need is the $59 theme and everything else is included.

WooCommerce is not required, you can choose to use it or not. You can still process payments without WooCommerce, but WooCommerce does open online payments up to more payment gateways.

For my idea it should be done by add new booking (from back end) and fill or check close room on this date but now if you add new booking you need to fill full detail of guest name

To block off room dates via admin, you have two options:
1 – Use WP Dash / Booking / All Bookings / New Booking / to create a new booking. 2 – Use WP Dash / Booking / Booking Rules / Block Accommodation to block off dates that are not available.

Hi here is my question. I have a building with four office rooms and a conference hall. I am going to build a website to Rent my office spaces and with Virtual Office service. Rental terms will be per Hour, day, month or year. I am planning to add these functions to my website. I need to know, what is the best Themovation theme to do build my site?
01. When user booking an office space, they have to Pay “Pre-reservation” fee.
02. I am planning to add User registration and User Login functionalities. So, users can pay their bill monthly, manage their account and cancel their bookings.
I think this is similar to your previous question. Bellevue can handle the booking part and the pre-reservation fee, the automated part may need to come from the Payment Request add on. You can upgrade to this at anytime, once you purchase the theme.

Yes, I believe that you can use a WooCommerce plugin to send invoices and arrange recurring billing. The plugin that we bundle takes care of the rates and bookings for Hotel rooms and Vacation Rentals and even connects payments to WooCommerce, they also have an add on for sending invoices, we don’t have this particular add on bundled yet but it’s something we are looking into .
For Bellevue, it includes the Hotel booking plugin and the WooCommerce add on for free. You able to upgrade tot he Payment Request add on at any time if that’s a feature you need.

I am using Bellevue theme version 1.9.2 with Wordpress 4.9.10. I would like to upgrade Wordpress to 5.2.1. Do I have to upgrade Bellevue to 3.2 ? If yes how can I proceed, because I think a direct upgrade from 1.9.2 to 3.2 is not recommended …

An other question : when you write “recreate your pages”, is it recreating pages from scratch or updating the existing pages from version 1.9.2 with Elementor ?

That’s correct, you can go from V1 -> V3 (Skip v2), but please makes to read the article so that you know what to expect.
You will need to recreate from scratch as we are using a new page builder, however you can use our templates to quickly recreate pages. All sections and elements are drag and drop in the new editor, we also include all the page templates that you see on our live demos.
The way I would do it, is to setup a cloned version of your site and keep the original active so that you can reference it. Then I would upgrade the cloned version from V1 to V3, then you can copy and paste content as you build the pages on the cloned version.

I had already read the article about upgrading version, but everything was not totally clear to me.
Following your answer, I also read about Duplicator, WP-staging, ... but as I am not familiar with cloning, I also have questions that can perhaps seem obvious to you such as : - do I need a new domain name for the cloned site, or can I create a sub-domain for the cloned site on the same server than the original one ? Will both sites be on line ? - how to paste cloned pages to the original site ? Problem with paths ?

Q: Will both sites be on line? A: Yes, that’s up to your host to make those live.
Q: ow to paste cloned pages to the original site A: I was thinking that you would copy / paste the selectable text. The images in your media library should already be there, you just need to reselect them.

It would be easiest if you cloned the original so that you can reference it for content and pages, then upgrade one of the clones to V3 which will become your primary site. Does that help?
After upgrading the cloned site to V3 and modifying the pages, how can it become the primary one ? For this, I will have to associate the cloned one to the main domain and not to the subdomain anymore by changing all the DB URL references ?
I also would like to know if version 1.9.2 is compatible with Wordpress 5.2.x ?

Hi there! Yes 1.9.2 is compatible with 5.2x, should be fine.
You could update the main site to V3 but put it in maintenance mode until you are ready to go live, or you could upgrade the cloned version and migrate it the live site when ready, but this will take a bit more assistance from host to move the site.

That’s correct, you need to set your language under Settings / General / Site Language. Then use the correct file name, de_DE.mo and save it under wp-content/languages/de_DE.mo

Hello! Thank you. Yes you can use it for Travel Tour as well. You may need a few minor customizations with a translation plugin but that’s pretty easy to do. If you use something like Logo Translate it’s free as well.

When you say that the plugin syncs with Airbnb and Booking.com it does automatically in both ways in real time. I mean it doesnt where the book has been done all the calendar includes (my website with the plugin , booking acc and Airbnb accoutn) would be sync and updated automatically). Is like that?
In my experience, this plugin has the best syncing between airbnb / booking.com out there. You can setup automatic synchronization between at your own intervals. https://cl.ly/9eb1345b43c7
The plugin authors do note: “to prevent unnecessary requests to the server, the automatic sync is executed in the set time interval only if there is a visitor on your website within that time interval. This means that the plugin will download bookings from external calendars as soon as someone visits your website.”
I don’t know how often Airbnb and Booking.com check for updates. That would be up to their platforms.

I can’t see the payment method option so I can not finalised the reservation. I’m using Bellevue 3.2 with the new Hotel Booking plugin. Is Woocommerce compulsory to get the booking system working fine?

Thank you for your interest. The slider has a space to add a shortcode, so you should be able to add a search field shortcode inside the slider space. However, we demo our own search widget and that is not available inside the slider at this time but that’s something that we can certainly add son.
I’m trying to import my airbnb calendar so I have a synched calendar. Is this supported yet? Seems simple enough. I have been able to import it into the page but it breaks the css when I do that. Any ideas?

Yes, you can change the permalinks to /retreats on rooms. Are you going to be using the Hotel Booking Plugin that comes bundled? If so, then you need to use the custom post types that come with the plugin called Accommodation Types, not rooms. Happy to help.

Are you using the Hotel booking plugin that comes with the theme or will you be using your own? The reason I ask is that I don’t know of the “Accommodation Types” custom post type in the plugin that we bundle allows editing of the permalink. I know our rooms custom post type does.

Ah yes, that should be possible via a Translation plugin. I was assuming you were asking about het URL, as with our rooms you can change the permalink in the theme options, with the Hotel Booking plugin that we bundle, they don’t provide a theme option but I think you can get around that with a very easy htaccess trick. https://www.siteground.com/kb/url_masking_with_htaccess/
