it seems to be the mikado core plugin that results in the error. i cant rollback. any other tips?

Maybe the Core plugin wasn’t updated. So first thing you have to do is (using FTP) remove Core plugin and than you should be able to access your wp admin.
Since we did the major update of the theme, please follow the instructions for update in our documentation: https://roam.mikado-themes.com/documentation/#getting_started_updating_roam Also, when you’re updating theme you will have to perform these steps: Remove our Mikado plugins (Core, etc) and WPBakery, update the theme (like it’s explained in documentation) and then install those plugins again from the dashboard. This way your will get the latest version of the theme and plugins that are included.

sure thing. its https://flyrfd.com/ea also i also noticed a bunch of the margins/padding is missing once I finally got the theme updated. maybe something happened to the default css
update: updated WPBakery and that seemed to fix the margins. still no sidebar

This is fixed in the new version of the theme (in 1.5.1 version) and when you’re updating theme, you will have to update Tour plugin also, because this is fixed there. If you still have issues with this, please submit the ticket on https://mikado.ticksy.com, provide Wordpress admin access, FTP admin access with explanation what is the issue you’re facing and our support team will help you with that.

We are really sorry to hear this. All themes which are available on Theme Forest are premium themes with a lot of options and features. Recently we had to push updates to all of our themes because of new coding standards required by WordPress and Theme Forest itself. We’ve let know our support agents to take a look at the issues you’re facing, and it seems that update requires some minor tweaks, so I went ahead and informed development team behind this theme, and they are already working on new update which will be live in a next couple of hours and you will receive email notification about new update. Again we are sorry because of this, but please wait for new update and install it later during this day or provide WordPress and FTP admin access in your ticket and our support will do this for you. Roam is great theme and when we resolve this I am certain that you are going to like it.

Hi there. After the latest theme updates I am experiencing a few issues with the Roam theme.
1. On tour item pages the tour plan, location, the gallery and review tabs are appearing blank and no information appears although it’s filled up in the editor. When clicking the Information tab again, that tab also displays blank although it shows all the information during the initial load.

2. The navigation buttons at the bottom of the blog post displays the html code.

And this one’s been there from the moment I purchased the theme. Dates on blog page near the title of the blog posts are truncated sort of. But on the page of the blog entry the dates appear shortened (Jan, Jul, Aug). It there a way to fix this?

We are sorry because of this. It is unfortunately related to our latest update. We have done a lot of updates recently in order to upgrade all our items in order to use latest coding standards required by the market. Developer is already working on new update which will be released shortly, so keep an eye on your inbox since you will receive email notification about new update, and after applying it issues should be resolved. The issue with the navigation in single tour item page is still present.
I believe the tabs aren’t working because “http://” is being appended to the “href” value for the links in the tabs for some reason, so none of the tab content is being shown. Here is an example of a broken link: .

You’re welcome! You have to update Mikado Tour plugin also. This is fixed inside of the Tour plugin version 1.0.2 and you have old version of the plugin and that is why you still have issue. Please note that we haven’t optimized our demo site speed-wise, because we wanted to show all the possible features our theme offers – so there’s a lot of content. Our support team tests the site of each user on request, and provides individual tips for improvement. Good server configuration is always necessary, plus proper image and content optimization, caching usage, etc. in order to achieve the best possible performance.

If you perform update on right way, there should be no problems. Just try via FTP and make sure you’ve updated Core plugin, too.
