When i use Touch Enabled and Spaced (Flickity) gallery. How can i make portret and landscape images make the same height in this slider. And also smaller. Now they are really big en portret are much heigher than the landscape. Looks not zo nice now.

1. The youtube video BG is an option included with the raw WPBakery page builder rather than a Salient specific feature. Currently they do not offer any mobile playback support, but the Salient self hosted video BG option does.

I have a huge problem, I have been struggling with now for over two weeks. I have taken over a website which was built by another developer. I haven’t been able to update the website because VC is not working and I am not the original owner to update the theme, and the original licence has expired. I then have been in contact with your support but the refuse to help me because I wasn’t licensed.
I then re-purchased the theme in order to get support. I followed your guides and every-time I try and update the theme my website breaks, Ive tried different ways. Your support just offers advise but is not helping me (Tahir) (PRIVATE TICKET #2063434) I need someone to please login to my website and please update the theme so I can update my websites content, this has been an everyday struggle now for two weeks and I am extremely frustrated. Nothing your support tells me to do works. PLEASE I need a top line support agent to please login my website and fix the problem for me.
Please, this is extremely urgent – please dont direct me to read threads, I’ve read them all. This is your theme which you have decided to update but is not working.

Just want to start by saying that I LOVE the Salient theme. I was wondering if there were any plans for adding a more complete Header/Footer editing tool like the Jupiter theme developers have implemented? This is the one area of customization I think Salient is slightly lacking in and would be a total game changer if it had.

Hey Luca, I would suspect there’s a plugin conflict going on which is causing it, but without seeing the live URL it’s only a guess. Have you tried to deactivate third party plugins to check for a conflict yet?

Found several “bugs” on V 10.5.3. You need to know, I have been setting up a complete new system, similar settings to my old, to exclude errors in fact of using an old system.
1. Main Menu

Although right space is gone in top menu by using outline button in main menu (same screen).
2. Buttonstyle

By using galery style in detail view there is no salient galery. Only old school wordpress galery is shown.
Althoigh social sharings an likes are still shown, even though it´s switched off.

Thx for your messange and glad to hear galery issue on blog gets fixed next update. I realy love Salient. Using it a lot of years and I understand your fast fixes via custom css, but that could not be a final solution for a theme. F.e. whitespace under blognavigation, social sharing (btw. I usesd theme customizer) and no uniform buttonstyle should be deliverd correctly by theme, without using css.
I although don´t understand your argumentation of removing the space in menu only right side. Now the icon bumps to the edge of button. By the way, you css fix does not work:

Thanks for the recent update! I was fixing up my website after the update and I found that the wordpress media videos I had embedded on one my pages has a huge space before it (checked all setting and no padding was added). Not sure if this is normal now or not?

Hello, I’m having a little trouble getting my individual Product Pages back to how they were prior to your latest update—the separate plugins change. Specifically the “WooCommerce Social Sharing Options”. Before I had individual social media icons vs the current written out version https://www.ananday.com/product/cork-tree-rubber-mat/. And I was able to remove the “Share” and “Nectar love” icons under the Add to Cart button. Not seeing this option in WordPress customizer (Appearance > Customize). Ty!

Hi! Sorry for any confusion. Before the update, I had round, icon only social media icons under my Product Title and Price (next to the first product image). I like the way the 2nd set of social icons under “Ad to Cart” look. Is there a way to just replicate that for the first set of icons?

Hi, a follow up on this! Is there a way to (1) only keep the social icons that are at the top of the product page, and remove the icons under the “Add to cart” button? And (2) for the styling, keep the icons “unselected” on load, so the circular frame around them only turns dark on hover (like the second set of icons is already formatted) Ty!

Greetings, and thanks for the latest update. I found a couple issues, WP Bakery stopped working, I increased the memory limit, and after some minutes it showed the backend editor again.
Thenl, after I posted a new item, I realized the big sharing buttons that showed in the bottom are gone, including the <3 one.
I thought this might be in one of the optional plugins, I installed the Salient Social, and now I only see a pop up button down left, is this normal?

Feature question – on the e-commerce preview the shop has a blue message bar above the navigation that disappears upon scroll. What is this feature/element called and where can it be toggled? Thanks in advance.
Update: I figured out 90% of this using the secondary header and custom coloring option for navigation. However, it seems only material allows for it to disappear on scroll… is it possible to disable its stickiness on original or ascent?

Hey! My website isn’t live yet, but I believe you can check it yourself: all I did is to copy-paste the code into a new page, and replaced the image via the editor. It worked before, but I believe the recent updates changed something… so it’s will be great if you can provide a new code for that. Thanks a lot

I just swapped out both images locally (the row BG which is shown on desktop, and the single image which is used only for mobile) and couldn’t see the issue occur. If you could provide a test URL where I can take a look, I’d be glad to troubleshoot further

Hi, I’m expecting a little problem with products when they are placed inside page builder in one page design- Product demo. So, In the woocommerce I can’t assign home page for shop page, when there is no assigned page in woocommerce options when you click on the link the link is there but it’s not working. You can see the example in shop.kopitoto.bg- sepecification section. You can see there the products and if you try to click you can’t go further. Can you give a hint what to do. When I assign the home page for shop page the one page design and the whole vision of the template crashes. Thanks a lot.

Yes, but after navigation try to click on a product and you’ll see that the click is not working- anywhere- picture, price, buy. Also you will see that the link in the status bar of the browser is ok, and if you hit the right button – open in new tab it will be ok.
the problem was from the browser I suspect. Last month I’m working with waterfox. Sorry.
