We have an advance favorite/bookmarking system, users can save to favorite without needing to login (cookie based) and they can go to yourwebsite.com/my-favorites/ and see the saved listings without registering. But they can also save when they are registered.

Hi Scott , Thanks for quick response. By Objects I mean different kinds of listings objects. eg Schools, Collages, Universities? Each having its own unique attributes like School (primary , secondary, French ). Unv attributes like Engg, medical, Arts. I want these different kinds of listings in a category (which might be a city or neighborhood name). And be able to filter search by these attributes. Thanks.

Your welcome and yes you can setup the categories like that. In the reply # 6 there is a section that will allow you to access the demo. You can test the categories, theme options, plans and try things out before you buy.

Just to clarify, you can create any kind of Category or sub-category and there is no limit on how many you can create.

Pre-Buy question: Can I change the search function to search based on zip codes in the US? I know you r search works based on the city name for each listing, but is there any way to switch it to zip and a radius ?

Currently ListingPro search doesn’t include zip codes in search results. It includes Listing Title, Categories and Tags. As for radius, no we’re using “near me” as in Geo location as an option.

Of course, being it’s Wordpress based website.. just about anything is possible with customization. Reach out to the the custom editing team for a Free Quote to see what is possible and any other options they can advise.

Does the AUTO PILOT SUBMIT function also import reviews and feedback from Google Maps?

Sorry, no it is limited to general information to help your businesses add the main details of their business with ease. Reviews from Google Maps are user accounts form Google, that’s not something Google will open up due to privacy policy I’m sure.
If you have existing database of listings with details as such you can use WP All Import. view video.

Just FYI .. our theme includes WP Bakery Page Builder without additional cost, future versions are included. You only need to pay for our theme one time.

It’s a much anticipated release and the only way I can see how to reply to your comment is to actually say.. at moment, there is not a date I can provide to you as developers have to QA test, fix bugs otherwise the theme would be released and create problems for community.,

I ask so often for only one reason, I can not start my project, because I know that the new update will completely break it. In the first I asked you this question 3 months ago and what then, what now I get the same answer. I believe that from the point of view of the developer you act disrespectful to their customers, I really want to start my project, but I just go to this site and see that nothing has changed.

You can migrate your directory to ListingPro regardless of the builder using WP All Import as that’s only the listings. The style, setups and overall look of the website is controlled by builders. Since WP Bakery Page Builder is included, as well as future updates .. maybe consider moving on over to ListingPro

We’ve been looking for a truly customizable theme or plugin for a directory project that will be for a major part of the entertainment industry. So far, we have been very disappointed by the fact that they all seem to be based on real estate, hotels, restaurants and jobs frameworks. This directory we are building will have none of that.
We need something that is truly customizable from the ground up. No amenities, hours, food, drink, sale of goods, nearby anythings, etc. We will offer listings for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and professional end users of specific entertainment products who offer specific entertainment services and venues that feature specific entertainment.
Listing parties should be able to add their location details without choosing from a manually pre-populated list of cities, states, countries or regions. An option for including a small map in each listing is ok, but maps will otherwise not be used. They tend to dominate many directories and are not needed in ours. Members will get a free lifetime listing, and can buy additional listings, ads and listing features on a quarterly or annual basis.

Thanks, a neat site but “Discover Downtown Las Vegas” or a group of shops in a mall or an amusement park, etc. is exactly the type of thing we are looking to avoid. Can you show us an example of a site built with your theme that has nothing to do with city searches, nearby places, hours of operation, food, drinks, etc., but rather a directory like a Business Yellow Pages that has different listing/ad options for companies, retailers and service providers? Not really. The first example provided was not on point. We asked for a better example per our criteria here in an open thread that we already are communicating in — so that buyers and those considering buying alike could see it too. No such example was forthcoming, and instead we got redirected. That’s two red flags for us. Thanks anyway.
We are sorry for the delay in response here. ListingPro is an end to end directory and our goal is to make it easy and affordable for maximum users but it might not be the right fit for everyone. Specially if you have a requirement that needs customization from ground-up. Normally to build a directory from ground up it can cost $5K-$50K based on your scope but ListingPro can give a solid base to jump start and save 90% or more of that cost even if you opt for heavy customization.

A few pre-sales questions. I need to create a site very similar to intuilife.com (minus the courses). So I need a directory for practitioners and a directory for practitioner events. I also need a free registration / dashboard for users to register for the site and save / favorite practitioners and events. So can I create more than one type of directory with your theme? And is there a registration option as described above for someone looking for a practitioner or event?

Hello, I’ve encountered problems with regards to receiving emails from wordpress. This happens if I want to change email of any of the users registered for my website. It also happens when registering users to the website. They don’t receive any verification email. (Yes I’ve tried 10 different emails) This doesn’t happen to any other website of mine, so what could the reason be?
Update: my webserver had without my knowledge blocked emails from coming out of my website. I’ve installed recaptcha and hope for the best.
