I Install Zox theme and setup, but h1 titles and category titles on top of the post don’t show up in my old posts. It only appears if I manually press edit and update post. Before I use your theme Hot Topix. Sorry for my english.

Would the page only require a change from the_date() to the_time() and get_the_time() ? / or the addition of ‘g:i a, D, j F y’

Sorry, that was in fact a pre-purchase question for another project. We stopped using Zox for our previous project and no longer have it installed – which is why I asked the question.
If the site does not ‘display’ the time of a post, will it pass that meta information to Google News, as is ideally required?

I am unaware that Google News requires posts to display the actual time the post was published, but this theme does not offer that feature.
FYI: Show one clear date and time: It’s required that articles show both a clear, visible date and time to be considered in Google News.
Ideally, position these between the headline and the article text.

I just tested the demo, and it has a rating of 45/87 mobile/desktop, which is a very good score, especially when compared to actual news sites. While I always look to improve PageSpeed scores, I do warn against putting too much stock in them. Google itself makes recommendations for its own mobile site, and nearly all major news sites score very poorly on both mobile and desktop, but especially mobile, where scores are rarely higher than 50. I actually saw a major news site one time with a zero mobile score.

Zox need major improvement on ad implementation I need help setting up DFP ads on my website. Unlike Adsense there is no responsive option so a 970×250 ad on desktop stays on mobile. So Header Leaderboard Ad Code in zox section doesn’t work for me. Is there a workaround i doubt support will help with customization as simple as this one

The theme itself has nothing to do with the responsiveness of your ad. If you have a set width for the ad, that ad will stay that width regardless of the device, and regardless of the theme you are using. In other words, even if you are using any other theme, if you insert that same ad code, it will show the same “issue”. The “issue” is the code you are using, and if it has a fixed width, it won’t matter what theme you use.
As you can see in the demo, the ads are not fixed widths, so they adjust based on the screen width. The ads also change depending on the device where a smaller ad will display on mobile devices. This is because I have made it that way in the code. You will need to do something similar if you are displaying your own ads. But again, this would be the case with any theme or any site you are using.
The ad areas are all responsive, but the ad code itself still needs to be responsive and not a fixed width.
Error with Yoast plugin Meta Title
I am facing a major issue on my website right now https://www.kdrtv.com I have just installed and setup Zox and my meta titles are supposed to be setup with Yoast but upon checking my source code my meta title is not setup properly it is showing <title>- KDRTV</title> when it should show Breaking News Kenya | Daily, Trending and Current Kenyan News Today – KDRTV as setup with yoast search appearance editor Why is it not working could you help me fix this ASAP as I am running a news site and I am constantly being crawled by google i dont want them to see that ugly title

Is there any chance of adding support to display category descriptions on the top of category pages (if the category in question has one) without having to use a third-party plugin?

Unfortunately that is not a feature of the theme and while I do offer to perform small custom changes, this would require more than just a short fix. So it is something you would have to modify on your own or get a third party to help you with since I am unable to provide this level of customization to all of my customers. Couple of questions from a user of The League: 1) Does the Zox homepage work much like The League with the option to use various widgets to build the homepage? Are all of the demo homepages built from widgets? 2) I know you’ve said elsewhere that Zox hasn’t been tested with SportsPress. Any way to give it a test short of me buying the theme?

2) Unfortunately, I am unable to test the plugin with the theme at the moment, so I can’t guarantee that it is 100% compatible.
For the “Theia Post Slider!” – i need a “license key” but the Purchase Code doesnt work. Cant find any other code in the Theme Documentation.

Pre sales questions: is this theme is compatible with WP-Rocket caching plugin because right now my website gtmetrix “Page Speed Score is A-99” & “YSlow is A-94” fully load time 1.7s.
& But when I checked http://www.mvpthemes.com/zoxnews/ “Page Speed Score is showing F-44” & “YSlow is showing C-77” fully load time 5.4s.

I would not recommend using that caching plugin, but the theme is compatible with W3 Total Cache. You will likely see a similar score regardless of which caching plugin, though. And I would not put much stake in those scores anyway since they vary depending on what scoring site you are using and most major sites will likely have scores closer to the Zox News demo than your current one.
