I did it , my experience with your support team is extremely frustrating. It’s been 3 days I cannot edit the text of the slider “1 Home” ! The person from the support didn’t resolve the issue and now I have to wait 48 hours again … Why not making a clear documentation about editing your slider ? Please be responsive!

Your response of my first question was wrong. I asked you if the texts from the slider “Home Annuncement 2” were editables. You told me that it is while it’s not possible. These texts are actually a image. The only way for editing it is by doing some photoshop edits.Thanks you for letting me know before purchasing.

It is not easy to install, as a theme seller you should provide all the fixes to save time to your customers. Right now, i´m not able to install Revolution Slider and Contact Form 7. I bought this theme, but i find many problems… - The mobile dropdown menu on Chrome is very slow - There are cross origin problems (cross instead of icons , social icons) - can’t scroll through the testimonials - forced to use the basic wordpress gallery because you don’t have Mansory gallery (we can find this kind of gallery everywhere !).. The developper in my ticket explains we have to put only landscape photographies (your theme is for photographers : we must have the possibility to publish landscape AND portrait pictures). .. i probably forgot other issues i met..
I have already contact developpers with select.ticksy. com , but i loose a lot of time and some of problems are not resolved. I hope the update could fix those problems. But when i read other uses who have problems with the update, i’m a little bit afraid….

Please try updating all the plugins also. You have Select Core 1.1 and the latest version is 1.2. Also, WPBakery version on your site is 5.1.1 and the version that comes with our latest theme update is 6.0.5.

Extract it and locate moments.zip
Extract moments.zip and locate the moments folder
Copy/Replace the contents of the moments folder to the /wp-content/themes/moments folder of your web site.
You need to delete the core plugin before updating the theme. If it still breaks, you need to delete the core plugin manually from your server. If the site remains broken, you then start deleting all theme plugins one by one until your site comes back up, then install the new versions of the deleted plugins.

When I go to edit a blog post I can’t see the elements and block builder to edit the post.
I installed the classic editor a while back but I can’t edit the post at the moment and when I view my blog post it’s all in code.

Please update your theme and theme plugins. WPBakery 6.0.1 is included in our latest theme update.
You can update your theme by performing the following steps:

I don’t understand the second paragraph. Re-download the moments theme from Envato and then do what? How do I copy and paste the contents of the moments folder? By core plugin do you mean delete visual composer?

Hi there – we are ready to launch the site this Friday and when I went to update the parent theme (using a child theme for mods) the site became really messed up – mostly around the shortcodes all just printing out on screen. Of course theme support expired so what are my options – seems odd to pay $40+ to fix an update issue? Thanks

Please try to follow update procedure below and you shouldn’t have any issues. In the latest updates we had to relocate all the shortcodes to the core plugin so it’s necessary to update core plugin also alongside with the theme.
1. Delete Select Core plugin
2. Update theme
First you need to use an FTP client ( like FileZilla ) Download latest All files & documentation file from ThemeForest (your Downloads page) Extract it and locate theme-name.zip Extract theme-name.zip and locate the theme-name folder Copy/Replace the content of theme folder to /wp-content/themes/theme-name folder of your web site.
3. Install latest core plugin from the appearance > install plugins page.
Also make sure your WPBakery page builder is installed and active and shortcodes should display properly.

Did the new theme 1.8.2 remove some of the features from the WPBakery Page Builder plugin?

Oddly enough, my WPBakery page builder, whether a new version 5.x or version 6.0.1, As long as the theme is 1.8.2, the original settings will not be visible (part one).

Please make sure you installed the latest core version after theme update. You can do that by deleting current core plugin and installing latest version from the Appearance > Install plugins page.
If that doesn’t help please provide website url so we can check all the plugins versions installed.
