What’s the difference between your theme’s “Rooms” custom type and the Hotel Booking plugin’s “Accommodation” type? They seem to be very similar.
We have a bed and breakfast. Single house with 4 total rooms. Each room has minor differences/amenities, but are essentially the same. Which should I use for this example, Rooms or Accommodations? I need to make sure there are 4 separate calendars and booking times so a person cannot book the same room(s) on the same days. Please advise. Thank you.

If you are going to use the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin (that we bundle for free), you’ll want to use the Accommodation Types and with that the accommodation grid. Explained here: https://themovation.helpscoutdocs.com/category/225-hotel-booking
If you aren’t going to use MotoPress Hotel Booking Plugin, then use room as you have been, but use the Rooms Grid instead.
We had to keep that in there because some people might not want to use the booking system.

There might be a way to use a form plugin like Gravity or Formidable to convert form fields into post data for the Accommodation Custom Post Type but at this point we don’t have this in our live demo and so we don’t offer it as part of theme. You could probably make it work but I have not tried this.

Hello, I would like your help on this. I purchased the Bellevue Hotel + Bed and Breakfast theme for wordpress.
When I load the site on mobile (Google Chrome) the logo stays blurry for at least 17 seconds.

After that time it looks ok. I’ve the logo to different sizes but it’s always the same.
On desktop it works fine all the time.

This is the retina version of the logo coming through after the non retina logo is loaded.
To resolve, you could try increasing the size setting of the logo in your customizer by x 2, save and publish your changes. Then remove the logo you have uploaded and re-upload a high res logo from your computer. Save and publish again. Then go back to the customizer and reduce the size of the logo using the size option to size that looks good on retina and non-retina. Save and publish. That should give you a sharp logo on retina on the first load.

Hello, we don’t do hourly but if you are planning to add services to your hotel stay, you can do that. Services can be anything you want. 1 hour tour etc.

I found that the popup booking calendar when the customer ready to book are more wider on mobile view. It’s will make the page not stable and will out of the range. I look into the view of iphone XS.

This kind of problem incurred on iphone. I tested on safari and chrome, but when I tested an android phone, it’s ok.

Hi,I just bought this wonderful theme and am loving it so far! Now I am wondering if there’s any way to program a rule or some logic. We have a minimum 5 night stay rule in place. However, we’d like to offer a 4 night stay option, but with an additional fee added for that specific 4 night option. How exactly would I accomplish this? Is this possible?

Thank you for the question. What would they be doing with their account? I know you can setup payments to go through WooCommerce so the customer should have access to the normal WooCommerce account settings.

As far as I know the user can cancel the booking option via email link that is included in the email confirmation. Is that what you are looking for?

I cant book in my accommodation. I added the accommodation type and the accommodation but when I try to view the accommodation page to book, I don’t see the apartment available.I created the apartment type and after generating apartment for this apartment type, I cant use the reservation option to reserve the apartment because it shows the apartment cant be booked but I can see the calendar and the booking availability option I followed your documentation but still never helped

The bundled plugin uses the iCal system to synchronize the availability with other booking platforms that support this system, too (Airbnb, HomeAway, Allocator and many others). In the plugin settings, you can make the plugin to download bookings from the external platforms automatically. The external platforms will download bookings from your website according to their own schedules.
do you confirm that if booked by the site it automatically blocks on the other platforms?

I’m trying to use https://useinfluence.co/ on my site but the popup that appears repeats and stutters very rapidly making it terrible to use.
I’ve switched off all plugins, removed all header and footer injections and changed the theme – changing the theme to a WP default one worked.
Is there any possibility you could look into this checking with their site and demo to see what the incompatibility issue with the theme may be? Thanks.

Hi, I have just purchased the theme and installed with your easy set up. I have chosen one of the demos during setup. All plugins installed but when I activate the child theme in my WP dashboard it looks exactly the same as the basic theme install. No demo content… Can you help?

And payment is done through the site, and commissions will be taken from the payments
You may be able to do this with WordPress Multisite (Network) but if you were to use it on a single install of WordPress then all payments would go through one payment processor and an admin would need to post the content and photos.
The plugins that we bundle does include unlimited rooms / calendars and connects with WooCommerce for payment, you can also use the payment system without WooCommerce as well.

The accommodation permalink is set by the Hotel plugin, they have it locked down so that it cannot be changed. However, I was doing some poking around and I think you can mask the URL using an htaccess trick.

Hello, We are having a problem activating the Wordpress theme on our website hosting server. We have successfully installed the theme “off-line” on one of our development PC’s (localhost) following the step-by-step process the theme provides. However, when we try to duplicate the installation on the hosting server, the plug-ins and the demo content do not install. (The installation software installer immediately goes to the next step, without installing the plug-ins or demo content.)
Furthermore, we tried to manually install the theme on the hosting provider’s server by searching for the xml files, then zipping them and transmitting them by FTP, but we could not locate the xml files in the zip file once they were unzipped on the server. Therefore, we want to know if any specific configuration of the hosting provider’s server is required for the execution of the demo-content installer or do we need some particular version (or PHP module) installed on our server prior to trying to install the Theme? Or webhosting provider is BanaHosting: https://www.banahosting.com/ We have been working on this for two days now without success. We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us to find a solution for this problem.

Sometimes hosts will have permissions locked down or incorrectly set, or sometimes the host can also limit server settings, causing time outs.

Can you change the booking plugin for minimum stays or specific arrival days? For example in the summer its 7 days minimum and arrivals on Fridays. Thanks
