I am really really struggling to upload my icons to my website. Why don’t you make a proper tutorial for this? I have ark academy subscription and the tutorial on the academy is just pure waste. The video shows nothing other than uploading a linearicons font to the website.
Can I upload multicolor icons with this theme? Forget multicolor, can I upload any single color custom icon font? I’ve wasted 3 hours to upload a god damn icon to the website. Unreal.

Please contact our support at http://arktheme.com/open-ticket/ and include all font files in ZIP archive, info where these files are exactly located on your FTP and also your wp-login. We can then have a look. Please note this is a complex topic and not all icon fonts are made the same so you might need to make adjustments to their coding or sometimes they are simply not compatible because they use a different technology.

I recently installed the Ark theme and I am trying to install the Demo content, but it stays stuck on Step 1 and continuously loops without any further response. The content does not get installed. I already submitted a ticket without response. How can I have this work.

Hello, I’m having issues with emails contact form I receive the emails but when I go to reply the reply goes to wordpress@domain.com and not to tge actual person who sent the email. I tried to do settings abd everything abd they all seems fine. I tested contact form 7 and it works fine so it’s a problem with your contact forms. Could you please help?

In “Form Wrapper” element, under General tab, enable Custom Email Headers and into the textarea below it insert this:
Reply-To: user_email
The “user_email” portion is a variable that MUST correspond to the “Form Input” element ID that you are using to ask the visitor for their e-mail address. The ID is sensitive to letter case and space characters.
The ID is the same thing as “Form Input (the one you use to ask for their e-mail) > General tab > Internal Field Name”. So if you have “Your Mail: ” there then your custom email header will be:
Reply-To:%Your Mail: %

7 Months ago i asked about the update with the Font Awesome library, since half or less of the icons work, some give error, etc.. and i got an answer that they will be updated soon, and after a 7 months im still waiting for that update.

Either use that blog element that is used on that demo and then simply insert YouTube video link as a first thing in your blog post. Or…. Use “Loop” elements and “Featured Area” element to make your own blog design. With “Featured Area” you still need to place the YT link as a first line in your blog post. Or… Install ACF plugin and add your own custom field with YouTube video and then print it with simple PHP code wrapped with the custom “Loop” elements.

I know that updates cannot be obtained without entering a license.

Just the update server is not accessible without a connected license so you will need to update the files manually over FTP with each update.

upon adding new page i encountered the following problem. I was desiging the page but it was just in the begining and wanted to start over, so i left the page without saving (but i have filled the slug field with name “360”). When i designed another page i wanted to save it with a name and slug 360 but the slug kept changing to 360-2. I looked everywhere for draft ot autosaved page but i could not find it. So my desired name is occupied by something that cannot be found and deleted. I went to the database and searched for anything with “360” in it. Found few records but they were only revisions. I deleted them and tried to change my page “360-2” to “360” but with no luck. I went to the database again and manually changed “360-2” to “360”. It worked for a moment, before i had to update the page then the “slug” went from “360” to “360-2”.
Is there any permanent fix for this problem?

I would not recommend editing SQL directly unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing because you can cause ill issues that might be impossible to diagnose later.

Hello. I updated my website but it seems that the plugin is breaking my site. Problems just start happening a few days ago. Your site seems okay visually and loaded just fine in my Chrome too.
Regarding services boxes, you have a mistake, the first box has P tag around the read more link, if you remove it it will be positioned correctly because this inconsistency makes the box taller than all the others.

I’ve added a new Post Type with CPT UI plugin, then added some custom fields to this post type and added some posts into it. Then I’ve created a custom page with a Loop element with pagination, till now everything is ok.
Now, I need to create new template to these specific posts, how can I create a new template for this posts inside this new Post Type?

It’s not helped, I need to design a single post type page. for example i have a post type radio stations, i have a page for listing all the radio stations www.abc.com/radios/ when I click on specific radio station it goes to www.abc.com/radio-name/ so I need to create a specific design for this page.

Another serious error. I have the impression that in the past ARC worked better …
When I add any BLOG section to my page (default, masonry) I get a list of entries in the category. The problem is that entries are long. I want to set a limit of words or limit of letters (Limit Post Content Length). But this function does not work when I add an entry in FRESH BUILDER. It works only when I add text in the Classic Wordpress editor.
When I add text using HTML and PHP Code or Text, this option does not work. It simply displays the entire contents of the entry. A loooong column of text. Because there is no such thing as “READ MORE” in ARC, it is a huge inconvenience.
In other words – either I will be editing in Classic mode editor, or I can not use the ARC blog section.

If text limitation is working for you only with regular WP editor, even after you strip HTML then you could create your own simple excerpt functionality in the builder using the “IF” element for example and similar code:
if ( is_single() ){ return true; } else { return false; }
That will print the contents of your IF elements only on single post view. Now if you turn around the condition like this with exclamation negation:
if ( !is_single() ){ return true; } else { return false; }
then it will print the content only if you are not on single post views which is usually categories etc so this is where you would put your short excerpt or anything.

It is not possible to limit the number of words in the content made by Fresh Builder. I mean, it is not possible from the logical side – the Fresh Builder generates HTML, and limitting the number of words will strip and break the HTML, which will break the whole page.
Use excerpts instead.

Regular WP content is mostly a series of single level HTML tags so it is very easy to process it with a high reliability of prediction. With builders this (HTML) content is 100x more complicated making it relatively hard to predict where to make the cutoff, what to extract, what not to extract, etc. I think I have provided you with a satisfactory solution to a complex question.

All right, I understand that it can be complicated. It is a pity that setting the limit on the number of words (or) letters in the ARC does not work. That would solve the problem. Yesterday I bought the fifth ARK license already. And I noticed the problem. Unfortunately, ARC does not see the images added in the BOX MODEL section (image, paralax). It displays color, slant correctly … but no pictures. I tried in the TITLEBARS section, as well as in predefined modules, etc. Did not work. This is a very key important function. How to fix it?

Hi! I understand I have no support, but writing just in case this is an issue with theme.
Do you think it is possible that Ark theme is doubling on Google Maps API requests during load? I’m not really sure how Ark theme actually works in the background, but is it possible that Wordpress is trying to load in Google Maps, then Ark gets in its way, does its thing and loads Google Maps again?

It can be found in WP Admin- > Ark -> Header -> [Your Header Name]. There are 15 predefined headers, so you can assign them to your page and figure out, if this header is doing the effect of your wish. Would this way work for you?

Bug report: when using Woocommerce. This template has an error with WPML language selector. If you select your main menu to show WPML dropdown language selector, all the other pages work well, however in the shop template, even I select the same header on ark/layout/shop.
