Hi! two weeks ago I already have online the web with your theme and so far it goes well. However, I have a doubt. In two weeks the website already has almost 300 subscribers, do you think that the theme can perform well with thousands of users? In the near future I must have registered thousands of users. Or is it a theme for medium traffic sites?

We’re no intend to make a theme slower or heavier so you don’t have to worry about that. And how your site handles traffic is 80% a server/hosting job, theme optimisation of course matters but not as much as hosting

I admit the update for OptionTree is taking too long but we wanted to add more things to that. We wanted to implement new front-end dashboard and push update with all those features at once.

How does the “Featured” feature work? I enabled it for one user profile but can’t discover any difference. The profile doesn’t look different not is it sticky in the lists/searches..

Correction: It is sticky in the latest resumes list but it doesn’t look any different. The first user, Marcel Tenbücken, in the “Die neusten Closer*innen” is marked “featured”. It remains at top but looks the same like everyone else.
So the question is, how do I style the featured items differently? I supposed that they were styled differntly by default.

Does this feature or any of the WPJM addons have this Profile Completion feature? I saw this on other themes and I want to make sure that I can also do this on this theme with or without WPJM addons. Thanks

please explain what you expect from “Profile Completion feature”
Basically, its a feature where a user can see his/her profile completion progress. on other themes, users are not able to apply until it hits a certain percentage. Each field on profile has corresponding points that adds up to reach 100% profile completion. Does this theme or any of WPJB has this feature? Thanks
We don’t have such feature and I haven’t seen this for WPJM anywhere

Or at least if Workscout design will be improved like Hireo, this will probably become the best selling WP Job Board theme.
No, Hireo will be our own code, we don’t want to rely on 3rd party plugins anymore as this might be limiting in some cases. WorkScout will get new dashboard for users similar to what we have on Hireo and Listeo
But are you planning to make Hireo to have features like in WP Job Manager and not just for micro jobs? Thanks

Bug report: 1. I use the short code for showing jobs. 2. If I click the show more button at the bottom and there is no more jobs, it adds the latest job offer to the list. I can do this twice. You can see this here: https://closerfinden.de/ My suggestion: If there is no more jobs, the “show more”button shall be hidden. It should def not add jobs that are in that list already. Thanks! I found the shortcode now. Is there anywhere a documentation how I can modify that module? [jobs show_filters=”false” show_description=”false” per_page=”4”] I mean there is certain parameters in that shortcode. Do you have a doc that explains all that and shows all options I have?

PRE-SALES: I’d like to use this theme to create a site that offers multiple listing types, not just jobs. I’m imagining that I would use some of the WPJM add-ons in order to create fields for the new listing types, as well as modify the existing job and resume listing types. That said: (1) is a multiple listing site possible with WPJM and this theme? MyListing theme offer this - they were originally built with WPJM, and have gone to custom code. My preference is to use your theme and WPJM. (2) can I add additional user types, beyond employer and candidate? (3) if yes to question #2, can I associate people with companies - now that can be done with job posts, but if new listing types are added, how could that work?

Hi! If a candidate buys a wc product that does not feature his profile and he then wants to upgrade to a wc product that features his profile, does he have to create a new profile then or will his existing profile be updated with the richer possibilities of the new wc product? Cheers Florian

he has to create new resume, or renew the one he has with the new package.

If listing is set to expire (it’s optional) user can renew it in his dashboard. If it’s paid listing, he can use different product to “pay” for it.

Check https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/job-posting – In the end it’s up to Google. WP Job Manager adds a schema for job post but you also need to fill the required data
