does it support arabic? or other languages

The theme does not come with an Arabic translation, but it’s translation ready so you can translate all the text yourself easily using Loco Translate or PoEdit.
It does not come with RTL support.

The theme is compatible with the “The Events Calendar” and should work with file share plugins, but these have not been tested.
Your reasoning for the high price of this theme doesn’t make much sense. Why shouldn’t every author charge a high price for their themes as well since Envato doesn’t allow to charge for updates and continued development?
Furthermore the sales for this theme out performs by far the one you recommended, so again, the high price because you expect less customers to support does not fly.

Some authors charge high prices for this very reason, others don’t. I’m not sure how what other authors are doing has any bearing on my reasoning.

Socialize has been selling for a lot longer than Aardvark that’s why it has more sales.

I’m not sure why you don’t think it flies. Are you implying I have a hidden agenda? The theme is priced high to deter new customers from purchasing the theme, while allowing me to continue to offer theme updates and support for existing customers.
If the high price has put you off of buying the theme then it’s kind of worked.
Kinda feel sorry for all those who purchased this theme for that reason and not because they expected one that was a cut above all others due to features or quality. SMH

your price was 59 dollar a year ago, you rised your price twice as high, but nothing is change in the theme as well. You also asked after 6 months 70 dollar for support, sorry but you are overpriced for something that is not change in years since 2015. Don’t blame Envato, you are 1 of less people who has a very high price like that, and I guess not much people will buy it anymore. Develop your theme that is what every seller does on Envato but they never raised their price almost twice as high as you do. Good luck with your sales from .. nobody

You can turn all the buttons on or off from the theme options, but you can’t turn individual buttons on or off. You could hide them with CSS quite easily though.

Login mechanism of this theme really annoying. Login widget not work at all. There is no login area in site. How can users can log-in

The theme comes with a popup login form and login widget. I’ve not had anyone else report any recent issues with the login features.

1) Yes, if you set the News section to offset the first 3 posts so it displays the fourth post onwards.
2) Yes you can show featured posts in sidebar.
3) Yes you can show the latest active forum topics in the sidebar.

I’m glad you’ve managed to fix the issue.
The reason why I can’t offer support for 1 simple question, is for three reasons.
1) If I answer you one simple question, that means I need to answer every customers with an expired support license one simple question. Suddenly I’m answering tons of questions outside of the ticket site for free.
2) It’s not fair on all the customers that have renewed their support license for one simple question.
3) If I answer one question, it usually tons into a few more follow questions, until it’s not one simple question anymore.

Do you mean show the post category names for each post, or actually show a list of categories instead of posts? You can do the first one by using the Blog element instead of the widget, and you can’t do the second one.

I see you’ve already opened some tickets last year about login issues, but you were trying to modify the login system with apps and custom login pages. This doesn’t really sound like a theme issue. Obviously when you modify a theme, core theme features may stop working. But, I did ask you a series of follow up questions but you never replied.
Also nobody else has reported these login issues, so it doesn’t seem like a theme issue, because more than one person would likely be experiencing them.
However, if open a support ticket or respond to your old tickets I can help you with your issues.

Would this be suitable for a ‘people directory’, to include information, qualifications, employment history (cv), etc similar to linkedin?
If so, would it also allow review on their profiles?
The theme supports BuddyPress which supports a members directory and allows you to display custom profile fields such as qualifications, employment history etc. BuddyPress is a free plugin you can try for free with any theme to see if it meets your needs.

Hi, I’m not sure if I simply did something wrong, but when I add the Showcase element via Visual Composer, it only seems to work for logged in users. Non-logged in users get a “Item not found” message.

Just curious… I own both your themes. I like the look of Aardvark Community but prefer the homepage layout of Socialize.
Can Aardvark Community be setup to have the homepage sections of the default Socialize theme?
I also noticed a price drop for Socialize. Do you plan to phase it out in favour of Aardvark? This is important as I want to use the theme that is most likely to have development continue and support available.

1) You can create the same sections seen in Socialize, but they won’t have the same appearance e.g. the sub headers etc.
2) Socialize will likely be phased out in time, so if longevity of the theme is important I would suggest Aardvark.
