Hi dear Astoundify,
Is there a list of the frontend submission form custom field features? I would like to know if it is possible to add a custom field in the submission form to let users upload files of any kind (not only images/videos) but also zip, rar, doc,pdf files etc… And of course those uploaded files must be visible on the listed page and available for download to any visitor. Do you think I can achieve this with Listify ? Thanks

In relation to your question here, by default this would not be achievable using Listify alone. You will need a third-party plugin such as Wp Job Manager Field Editor. For further details on this, please check into this article

We have a client who is setting up a pet sitting directory with the following requests:
Vendors must be able to: • Offer their own bookings • Set their own prices • Message buyers • Have and edit a profile • Search for buyers and other vendors • Receive notifications of bookings/acceptance/refusals etc
Visitors/buyers requirements: • Search through vendors • Message vendors • Leave reviews • Receive notifications of bookings/acceptance/refusals etc
The site admin/owners requirements: • Take a 10-15% cut of the vendor sale • Manage vendors and users • Set a default price for services
Can your plugins do this? Which ones would we need to buy?

Nice looking Theme!
1. How many listing types are pre-defined or can I create my own Listing Types? Are there separate Listing Page Templates pre-built for Real Estate, Rentals, Restaurants, Cars for Sale, Service Businesses Like plumbers or car repair, etc?
2. Is it possible to have the feature image as a small image in the page body of the listing page and not use the large header area? I don’t want to have huge image file sizes.
3. On the customers Listing page, Is there a way to limit or specify the image dimensions and file size? Or, if a user uploads a huge image is there a plugin that will reduce the image size to fit the specification?
4. Can I limit the listing page to allow the user to upload only two images or a set number?
5. I don’t want to use the Google map feature. Is there a form field on the listing page where the user can enter their location or location(s) with the address, phone and zipcode, etc manually. And will that be searchable?

In respect to the outlined questions:
1. You can only have one listing type. Such as cars, not cars and real estate.
2. That would not be possible by default. It’s however possible to hide the featured image within the listing pages. You can also use the WP Job Manager Field editor plugin to add an extra fields within the submission form and use a custom widget to represent the image within the listing.
3. Yes you can limit the image dimensions and file size a user can upload using the WP Job Manager Field editor plugin
4. This is also possible using the WP Job Manager Field editor plugin
5. That would mean that the location will be a normal text field. You can use the WP Job Manager Field editor plugin to remove the default location field and create new location, phone and zipcode fields. You can then use the FacetWp plugin to create some custom search filters.

Hello, for some reason my listify product doesn’t show up on the astoundify website with my envato account. So I have to post my support question here.
1. Currently when my listings expire they still stay in the search results. Is there a way to drop off listings off search results after they expire? My website link is https://fetesoca.com
2. Also on the listing card on the search results page. It currently has event name and location displaying on the card. Is there a way to include a custom field for a date for each listing. That way I can list the date on the listing card as well. Any help would this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I’ve spent hours going through the documentation, tutorials, videos, etc. for Listify and the recommended Restrict Content Pro and WPJM Field Editor. It’s absolutely not clear (for me at least) how I can set up a directory in which I can hide or restrict content on free listings. Items such as business hours, photo gallery, and website url. I contacted the developer for WPJM field editor but he didn’t really explain it, just said that it could feasibly be done using a combination of plugins. Nice enough guy, I guess he’s busy, but his video tutorials are aimed at people creating job boards. Restrict Content Pro seems to be aimed at restricting content to people visiting the site, not the owners of the listing themselves. And I haven’t seen anything which is Listify or directory specific in their tutorials even though they mention this theme on their landing pages.
To be honest, I’m kind of shocked that there is not clearer info out on there on how to do this. From what I can see, many of us need to be able to populate a directory first with free basic listings in order to get people to visit the site. Using claim listing and direct marketing, we can then get listing owners to purchase premium options. The simple pay-to-list for x number of days simply doesn’t work well for many directory operators, it works better for jobs, classifieds, and deals.
Please, any insight would be greatly appreciated!! My head feels like it is about to explode trying to figure this out.

Relating to your question here, I would suggest on using the Wp Job Manager Field Editor plugin and the Listing Payments plugin. With the Listing Payments plugin, you can create a listing package for free listings. For users who have this package selected, you can then have some submission fields hidden business hours, photo gallery, and website url. Once this is done, free listings will not then have these fields. Here is an article on this.

Relating to your question on RTL support, yes, Listify does support RTL. You can read further here: Does Listify support RTL (Right-to-Left Language) There are not much differences between the Listify theme and a website that is focused more on classified ads. However, this also depends on the details of exactly how you would like to make your classifieds website.
In respect to your question on apps, we do not have an official mobile app in place for the Listify theme, whether an IOS or an android app. You can use 3rd-party frameworks that promote creating mobile apps from WordPress themes if you wish to. Unfortunately mobile app development is not a service that we provide.
