Hey Porto team. The support team has been extremely slow responding my ticket about a failing installation of the theme.

This is my case: Whenever I install the theme on a fresh installation the site get blocked and a message that says The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

I am running A bitnami Docker image in a kubernetes cluster. There is no FTP server.

If I want to see the site I get this on logs:

I think it has to be with the porto functionality thing.

Also, there are no plugings nor themes installled.

This is just after click the activate theme button. So, the porto config has’n started when this happens.

Really sorry for the inconvenience but Our business hours are Monday to Saturday – from 12:00 AM to 08:00 AM EST, and I can see that support team asked for the CPanel Login and you replied you do not have it and then support team asked for the FTP and again you replied you do not have it, and support team is not able to login into your WP Admin Dashboard because it is also showing the same issue “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.”, So THis is not the Theme issue, but it is your server min-configuration or any plugin issue which is not working properly with your server, So please contact your hosting provider and ask your hosting provider to provide the FTP or Server Login to you and then you have to provide it to use via our support system so we will be able to check it for you, without debugging we can only provide you the assuming solutions, which are as follows:

Please check once with the plugins, please deactivate all the plugins and check the site will back or not, if it will back live again then activate all the plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue on your site and do not use it.

OR

Please deactivate the Theme and check your site will back or not, if it will back live again then it means your server is not properly configured as the minimum requirements of the Theme and in that case try to set your server requirements as minimum require for the Theme and Install the Theme again from Scratch as showing in this video: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/installation-video/

Hope it helps. Otherwise, I suggest you to Install the Theme on any other server, I am sure you will not find the single issue.

There is no Option in the Theme for it, you have to set it using Custom CSS as per your requirements, Please try once with the below given Custom CSS, Please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check your site after removing the browser cache.

Hello, I have two questions: How do I update the theme automatically because nowhere in the site admin panel indicates there is an update? Is there a way in each product category to add a search engine that only applies to products in that category? For example, there are categories of ladies and men’s clothing. The idea is to have a size, color, etc. filter in each category, and it only applies to that category. 1. When there will be update of the Theme you will always find under WP Updates Section or under Appearance >> Themes and you can also update the Theme easily from Appearance >> Themes.

2. Sorry to say that but this is not possible, Filters are coming from Yith WooCommerce Ajax Filter plugin, and it only provides the functionality to filter from all of the Categories and Products, If you want to Filter from certain/specific Categories or Products you can use any plugin for it, OR you can also purchase the Yith WooCommerce Ajax Filter plugin as well, but before purchasing it please contact plugin Author and ask plugin Author that will it work for you with your required needs or not.

I Love this theme and still using on my website ( https://212dijital.com/ ) but today i realize that h1 tag on logo. I removed it with div tag and i suggest change it in the next update.

Porto theme provides availability to override all parent theme functions in child theme.

If you want to change logo, you can use “porto_logo” filer in child theme’s functions.php as following.

Is it possible to make either secondary menu location or topmenu location sticky as well? Or do we need to resort to adding the porto sticky header to every page?

Sorry to say that but this is not possible, Sticky Header/Sticky Menu only become sticky with the Main Menu, means Header is divided into three parts, Top, Middle, Bottom and the part having Main Menu set in it will become Sticky header/Sticky Menu, This is the default functionality of the Theme whether you used Pre Built header type or create your own header using header builder this rule is applied on your site and if you want to make any other portion of your header sticky then you have to place that section into the section which has Main Menu set or it requires Customization.

Hello, i see in some demos your “Log In” option displays as a “popup” when i click on it. I also noticed that the “Register” and “Log in” buttons we add to the header through “Theme Options” -> “Header” -> “Show Register Link”/”Show Login/Logout Icon” display in popup style. Can you tell how do you make this work like this, instead of the links loading a new page? Is it through the blocks? If “yes”, then where do you add them so they load as “popup”? I would like to implement something like this in other menu options. Best Regards

There is no Block used for it. You can change the Same Login/Register Links clicking as Pop Up and as Link to My-Account Page.
