Is it possible to have external link for booking per listing? Sometimes customers have their properties in booking.com or homeway.com but they still want to list with us, but book with their booking provider. So if a external booking link could be set per listing, when clicked visitors would be redirected to external booking site.

Hi i would like to ask you about the template of the wprentals, first of all , if its possible to not having in the first page the category of the registar and the login. Also is it possible for our clients when will visit this website to not use the registar and the login in conditions in order to have more easily booking , just to put the dates and the category of the villa that they want and to show them the availaible villa or apartment that we have?. Thank you for writing. If I understand right, you want people to send booking requests but not login. I am afraid this is not possible.
You can let people send inquiries (contact owner) like that, and there is a theme search to look for available places, but the booking form needs to be logged in to use it.
There is ical feed import and export to sync the bookings made on the platform with other platforms that support ical feed export and import.

Hello. I hope you’re well. In 2.8 released today we added the WooCommerce + Instant booking option in the theme and user is registered when he makes the deposit (so login is not needed before). Presale question. Is it possible to add listing from frontend, where only the listing admin will be able to add appointments to listing calendar. Client only will be able to contact the owner of the listing and will be able to see busy days/hours for that listing.

Yes, the owner makes submission. The rest of the people will not be able to send booking, they only will be able to check whether any dates/hours are available. The important thing is the owner of the submission to be able to add/modify the bookings.

You can create packages with a certain number of properties included. To be able to submit properties, the user will need to purchase a package.

You have 2 options, but keep in mind that admin always gets the money for booking confirmations
1. Admin gets the deposit which covers only his service fee for each booking and lets user/owner manage the remaining balance outside the theme.
2. Admin gets allo money and wants to transfer owner payment.
At this point you must work with a 3rd party add-on to send payment to the owner, a service we offer with RentalsClub assistance.
The add-on is in Beta version now, works ONLY for payments done through PayPal – and it’s free for the time being. It may become paid in the future (there is no immediate plan for this direction).
With the add-on activated (activation is done through RentalsClub – an API system) – you will get access to your Rentals Club account to see payments received and make payments to the owner.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Seems pretty risky to be handling rental fees and having paying owner from that? If lender files a complaint via PayPal and gets refund/reversal I’m out the money with little chance to get back from owner.
If I take deposits seems it would labor intensive to have to manage refunds?
I’d rather have an owner pay a subscription fee for listings and have the lender/owner work direct for payment.
1) Can a booking request be made w/o a deposit or booking fee? Obviously they need to register to send booking request. I’m thinking more about revenue from subscription and feature “upgrades” rather than from booking fee/deposits.
2) RENTALSCLUB.ORG “After official release we will ask for a monthly fee to continue using these extra options.” You stated there “It may become paid in the future (there is no immediate plan for this direction).” Not knowing what the charge will be makes it difficult to plan/determine fees to charge. If a fee is added later it renders the software worthless w/o paying whatever fee you decide on. Kind of scary position for your customers.
3) Text messages – seems like a paid Tillio account is required – 3/4 cent per message? And there may be a RENTALSCLUB.ORG fee for the sms ext also?
4) Are there are plans to make this a PWA? While it seems very mobile friendly a PWA would take it to the next level.
Sorry for all the questions – just trying to understand all the cost and payment variables. I have read the documents but didn’t find it very clear. A nice chart might be helpful of payment options and what combos can be done.

Bookings can be sent and confirmed without a deposit required. Admin sets the value of deposit and you can put 0 as well.
There is no immediate plan to make that paid and rentals club stays a 3rd party, free in beta version. If there will be any change all clients will be notified by rentals club.
The Twilio system has its own system and payment is required to use their service. It’s not in our power or rentals club power to offer a SMS service built in, without any costs.

1. Sure, you can change. But the free membership limits apply to new accounts (not for already created accounts) if you switch from Paid to Membership.
2. Yes.
3. It’s a package replacement (so full fee). You can add manually packages if you want, but an automatic upgrade means an automatic package payment.
4. Yes, the new package activated changes the recurring date based on new package purchase date and package duration.

TOPIC: Disabling favourites.
Hi there. I have our website set up so that no bookings go via the website’s functions (only via a contact form in the sidebar). All bookings are added/deleted manually by Admin – which keeps the availability calendar working… but none of the other booking features. We’re very happy with that.
So… I’ve now hidden the Login / Register link from the header to stop people registering.
However – this leaves us with a gap. For website visitors to use the “Favourites” button – they need to be registered. Obviously I don’t want them to – so is there a way to disable Favourites in some way please? I’d rather keep Favourites… but I don’t want people to be able to add their own properties (hence hiding the Registration link) and through searching this forum, I can’t find a way to have favourites working with cookies rather than registration.

Just a couple of little post-publish niggles that I hope you can help with. Do let me know if you need a login to the website in question.
1. Is there a way to set the word “From” to automatically appear before the price field on listing cards and the search results? I know I can set that individually per listing… but I can’t seem to locate a global setting.
2. On the price slider on the main search form (I’m using Advanced Search Form Type 3) – it doesn’t specify that it is “Price per night”. Where can I add the words “Price per night” words please? Already (since setting the site live last night), I’ve had a couple of people question that and assumed it was a weekly price… so I’d like to make it clearer for them.
3. I have imported bookings from a CSV file. They all appear as a list in “Bookings” in the back end… but not via the user panel on the front end. Any ideas? I used “WP All Import” to upload and map them… and I do appreciate that you don’t provide support for 3rd party plugins. I just wondered if there’s an easy way to “attach” them to where they should be attached.
4. Is there a way to edit a manually added booking as Admin? Or does it just have to be deleted and then re-added?

Also – I see that a message appears in the “Inbox” of the owner panel each time a booking is added. Is there a way to delete what’s in there easily – rather than individually. I’ve just added 980+ bookings. I did start deleting but I still have 840+ messages still in that Inbox. It’s not a huge issue of you can’t offer a fix – I’ll just do it over time instead. xx
I’ve now found where I can bulk-delete those messages… so that’s not needed now either.
Don’t worry about #1 – as I’m just going to do them manually today instead.
Re: #2 – I’ve just removed the price slider from the form – so don’t worry about that either. I’ll come back to you if I need to replace it.
So – the only thing I need answering now is #4. I’ll report back if I find the answer in the meantime.

Okay – I’ve dropped your custom CSS in and actually I’m quite happy with that. I may tweak the colours later but I’m already pleased with what it’s done.
Just one teeny thing – if it is possible. Is there a line or two of CSS that I can drop in that will hide the “Past – Today – Booked” notice from underneath the calendar? Then I can drop in some hook content or a widget that will avoid me having to use poedit. I hate poedit because I usually end up breaking something. Plus “Past” isn’t the same function as “Available” which may confuse people if I merely change the word and not what it relates to.
I know I’m being an awkward woman (sorry!) – but your theme is so good and does so many things beautifully, that I just need those final little tweaks to be 100% happy. Then I’ll be heading off to try to sell more Holiday Rental websites to clients… meaning more money for you too.

I have RSS feeds coming from one website (let’s call it websiteold.com) into this new one I’m building (let’s call that websitenew.com. Websitenew.com will be replacing websiteold.com
The booking dates appear in the calendar as unavailable but they haven’t appeared in bookings?
So – when I switch the domain from websiteold.com to point to the new ebsitenew.com all those bookings will disappear.
How can I ensure they saty please? Why are they not shoing in “Bookings”? If they were – then I could export them all… and import them all as new bookings.
Please can you help urgently? I am supposed to be setting the new website live tomorrow.

You want to move a domain from websiteold.com to ebsitenew.com with all its data and content (database). Is that correct? You can do a full switch (of the database) and so all content including bookings move correctly. RSS feed has nothing to do with such a process. So I am not sure what you want to do with the RSS feed.

I have an existing website which currently has thousands of bookings on it. This was not built using your theme.
I have built a new website using your theme. I have used iCal feeds on the new website to pull all the bookings from the existing website. They display nicely in the calendars against each property on the new website. So far so good.
But – when I point the domain to the new website… the old website will cease to exist… so all those iCal feeds will die and the calendars will empty on the new website.
Despite the calendars on the new website showing dates – there are no “Bookings” showing in the “Bookings” tab on the back end of the new website. If there were- then I could export those from the database and drop them back in after the domain is pointed to the new website.
What I need to achieve is for my calendars to still show those times as booked on the new website when I point the domain – and to be editable.
I have 3200+ bookings – so adding them individually is not an option.
I’m sorry – I should have said iCal feeds… not RSS feeds. I’ll hang my head in shame. I’m just getting very panicky now as the new site is supposed to be launching tomorrow.

I understand now. The ical feed imports data from the 3rd party website. If the 3rd party website ceased to exist, the bookings in ical don’t exist.
I think (i am not sure) you can use Google Calendar as a transition system.
1. Export the feed from your site (with the 3rd party site) to google and create a new calendar based on the feed to show the calendar and those bookings in the google calendar https://prnt.sc/oznae7
2. Import the feed ical from google to theme.
This way the bookings exist in google calendar.
And the ical syncs the bookings from google (allowing you to delete the 3rd party website and switch to rentals)

It looks like I may have found a solution. I’m currently testing using “WP All Export Pro” to export all the bookings as a CSV from the existing website. I’ve exported all applicable fields and information – and am now mapping the fields to fit in the new website that uses your theme. The only field I’m struggling to find is the Property ID… but to be fair I’ve only just started looking for that. Fingers crossed!
I do have some odd error messages coming up on the back end – but I have a few things to try with that first and will start a new thread later on if I’m still stuck.

Yes I’d worked out the Property ID since my last message – and am editing the CSV file so that the correct info drops in against the bookings.
WP All Export Pro and WP All Import are superb plugins and I’ve been using them for many years. I should have just tried that in the first place – then I would not have needed to bother you.

When opening booking forms per hour, a keyboard appears in modal form on the android and iOS mobile devices. The modal form becomes very small and uncomfortable. So, people can register there property – the property will be listet then and is bookable. BUT I – as admin – would not realize if there are bookings or so…. Is that right?

Admin can set a deposit and an equal service fee people pay in order for booking to be confirmed and for owner details to be public (or property location to be shown, if you wish to enable the option to hide location for users without a confirmed booking)
The fee is deducted from total booking and goes to admin paypal, stripe accounts. You can also use wire transfer to ask people to pay the feet offline and you as admin mark invoices as paid.

Hello elwlenders, Thank you for the comment. We don’t have this label. But double booking is not allowed for sure. You can receive requests if the period is not booked (multiple requests), but once one request is approved the others will be notified that booking period is already booked if they try to finish the booking process to confirm it.

Hello, Is it possible to have multiple owners handle the same properties? Right now there is only a drop down which only allows one owner per property listing. Would it be possible to instead has this options as a checkbox so I can select two different users as the owner? My client would like this option for management purposes. Thanks!

We don’t have multiple owners (i will add to wishlist) BUT admin can put a duplicate email to get all notifications owner does and he can use a plugin to register as owner from admin (without knowing his password) if needed.
