Hi – the slider revolution installed on my import is 6.0.5. It’s saying 6.2.2 is the latest version. It’s not letting me upgrade without a code. Am I suppose to stay on 6.0.5 or there is a way to upgrade?

Hello, I am interested in purchasing the My Religion Church theme, but I’m not finding much details about how the templates work and how they can be manipulated. For example, I see two options for homepage layouts. Are these ‘fixed’ templates that need to be populated? Or is there some kind of content builder that allows you to add/move/manipulate the various sections of content? Let’s say I don’t want the 4 church ministry sections under the slider, but want to have the latest sermons show up there instead. Is that all a possibility? Another question is concerning loading (or NOT loading) unnecessary scripts. For example, if we will not be using WooCommerce. Will all the Woo stuff be loaded anyway? Thank you.

The easiest way to make your site look like our demo one is to import demo content. The theme comes with a .xml file that allows you to import all the pages and posts like they are on the demo site.
If you don’t want to use demo content sure you can add needed content and edit it in a desired way without demo content import.
The theme comes with a custom Content Composer created by our developers for content adding – the tool that is proved to be handy and convenient. Drag’n’drop function provides great flexibility of settings and shortcode options. Shortcodes can be easily added, edited and rearranged.Our visual content composer allows to place any shortcode/section to any part of the content area. To activate a slider there is a need to use its purchase code (not the theme purchase code). You don’t need a purchase code to make your slider work – it is needed to achieve automatic updates. We are the owners of an extended license and have no rights to provide the purchase code for users but of course we provide you all necessary updates. Usually the latest slider updates are included to the new theme version.

There is no strictly limited amount of the menu items, it depends on the length of the words that are used as main menu items, on header style, logo size and additional options that can be enabled/disabled such as search, donation button etc.

I uploaded the demo content to our already built site, and there were no pages included. Are there pages or templates I can use to make the homepage like the My Religion sample? I am not sure what visual content composer items, etc. to use without some sort of map.
Got it! I had to disable a previously used Church Content plugin and then reload the content.

Header Donation button links to a Donations submit form page which you can set in Settings > Donations, therefore if you need a button that links to some other page we can recommend you to use the Header Custom HTML field and add a button using HTML code.
Making campaigns link to different pages requires theme customization that is beyond our support policy, appreciate your understanding.
