Hi there, When we insert the Google analytics tag in the theme head javascripts section we get a error in the first to line “unexpected identifier”

The Flash Deals section is made using “Porto Sale Products” element and with some Custom CSS, when you will Import the Demo that Custom CSS also Imported with it and it shows your products on Sale, No need for any third party plugin.

Issue between Colors Swatches and Product Image

If the Colors Attributes are manually set in each product page in the pipe format (Red | Green | Blue | Black), the link between the Attribute and the Swatch Color do not work.

If I click on the red color on the swatch box, the image related to the red variation do not appear in the product image box.

If I use global Attribute instead to set the variations, the relation between the Color Swatch and the variation product image is correct.

Tested on Porto 5.0.1 | WordPress 5.2.3

(PS I do not ask for support, it’s just a report and I hope will works with the next update :)

I have just tested it at my end on my test site with the Porto 5.0.1 | WordPress 5.2.3, with manually set Attributes and it is working fine at my end, You can also check it on my test site as well:

hi, see my recent ticket there are some issues in reply. also consider this issue u have changed all rating star to gold even for those product which are not rated by anyone. so 1. star must be gold for submitted rating. 2. in review tab star remain still dark grey after clicking on stars.

I have a shop and products. In short description I have empty because I don’t know what to place, to not repeat with the description and google says “duplicate content”.

There is any way to do a “callback”, or snipped, for example or a calling to other generic page of my web page. To be linked and showed in short description products?

But that google does not consider as “duplicate content” ?

Hi,

Short description area in Porto is just a text area where you can put data an text, picture, and video format. It is not possible to fetch data as it is and show in a short description area of your product because if you add any other link of the site page it appears a shape of link, not a data.

First thing you need to set this thing differently because both a short description and long description have different purposes. If you are using the same content in both so it’s your own mistake.

In short description you need to put some attractive words regarding the product to just give a little knowledge about the product to the customer. And a detail description you just start over with specifications, features etc about products.

Just took over a client site that uses the Porto theme. Seems that the last developer never, ever updated anything. Porto is at version 1.3. I did not see anything in the changelog for versions below 4.0. How much is it going to break the site if I update from 1.3 to current? Would I be better off just re-building it from the current version instead rather than updating? I ask because 1.3 uses the SpyroPress Builder instead of Visual Composer. I didn’t no if somewhere along the lines there was some sort of conversion from the old builder to the new builder.

The Theme version you are using now was created by ”Spyropress”, Please contact with the theme author, we did not develop this Porto theme. We have developed the Porto theme with the author named “P-Themes”.

And also If you update the Theme now on your site with the very latest version 5.0.1, It will surely break your complete site, So I suggest you to purchase the Porto WordPress Theme with the author named “P-Themes” and start from scratch.

Hi, interested buyer here and owner of multiple sites. May I ask about backing-up my own customised version of porto and applying onto many other websites? First of all, you have to purchase multiple licenses of the Theme for using it on multiple sites/domains as this is Envato policy you may wish to confirm from them as well.

Secondly, If you want to Customize the Theme, then I suggest you to use Child Theme for Customization and simply you have to copy the Child Theme to every site which has Porto Installed with the same version and it will work for you on your all sites.

Sorry to say that but we have not tested the Elementor WooCommerce Builder with the Theme yet, so we are unable to suggest you on it, Porto WordPress fully compatible with WP Bakery Page Builder plugin and it is also included in the Theme Package as well so I suggest you use WP Bakery Page Builder or if you want to use the Elementor WooCommerce Builder with Porto, you can try but at your own risk as we do not provide our dedicated support for any of the third-party plugin issues.
