Hello team! Loving the theme and it’s working really well for my client – thank you!
I do have a query though (or rather my client does):
When a site visitor uses the search form and selects “Min. 3 bedrooms” it quite rightly displays all 3 bed villas… plus 4 and 5 bedroom villas too. Correct! That’s exactly as it should be.
However – is there a way I can get it only show 3 bedroom villas – but only as a one-.off… not all searches. Or is it possible to duplicate a search form and then that is used solely by logged in Admins to show just the exact number selected rather than the ·”Exact plus anything more” that the main search form needs?
Does that make sense?

I understand your wish, but there is no hidden field. We can help change the search to show equal bedrooms to those selected (instead of equal or more), but it’s for everyone. Thank you
Thanks ever so much – I suspected that may be the case.
A workaround would be for me to add an additional few “Features” that all appear at the bottom of the Advanced Search list – then my client can tick those bedroom boxes where appropriate and get the results he wants. It means I have some extra work to do to set those up for him – but it’s worth it to keep him happy.

Thanks ever so much for the offer but don’t worry – I’ve just added a new batch of “Features” and edited the existing listings. It only took me a couple of hours so it’s no biggie. The client can now search for “3 bedrooms only” whilst site visitors can continue to use the usual dropdown option for bedroom numbers which will give them 3 and above.

Pre-purchase Question: Is it possible to make a listing available for multiple reservations at the same time?
Scenario: I want to rent some quad motorcycles available at some location, but there are many of them, not just one, so I want them to be available for a maximum capacity of 5 vehicles a day, but don’t want to make 5 vehicles listings as this would be confusing.

So in your scenario, each motorcycle would need to be listed as a single listing to be rented.

Anytime I view the half map/radius on mobile and click the pin to a listing, the picture of the house and details gets cut off. The same thing happens when you view it on WP Rentals demo on mobile as well so I know it’s not my website that is the problem. Anyone have a solution for this?
Hello lsnyder637, Thank you for the comment. We’ve been testing this on our mobile devices as well as the with simulators and we cannot replicate. Please confirm in the ticket the device you use as it seems to be connected strictly to that device somehow. We will do everything we can to research on this, but if it’s a browser related behavior (which doesn’t read the panby instructions – as they are written and work on other devices), not sure sure what are our options from theme end. But we can read further online and check, of course.

We don’t have the possibility to do the booking without login, but we have on our to do list to try to implement woo commerce payment (which is already included) to try to make this happen in instant booking. It’s not a confirmed feature yet, it’s just a wishlist idea, but that’s what we will try to do.

So how I can simplify the process? Now, when my client want to pay a booking, he has to register, and will have “the dashboard” where it says about listings and so. I don’t want my client “list” something in my website. Just to pay a rental. Very simple.

There are special options which help make register fast
1. User stays on the same page after he logins (this applies to theme register as social login cannot support that)
This happens always when user logins from property page with theme login.
2. There is an automatic redirect from register to login modal using theme login

Also, in general, in theme options we have the possibility to check that user stays on the same page after login (which applies to theme login). Social Media login APIs demand a redirect URL and that cannot by bypassed.

Very disappointed in that principal aspect. A 90% who needs that kind of theme, does not need to list or any option “to rent my property” (there are a lot’s of aggregation platforms that offers better search position) , or at least that feature could be disabled in anyway. In your case, you have everywhere “list your property”, in a registration form, in a dashboard, things like memberships (and yes, the user always will go for a user area just for curious) ... what for? And it couldn’t be disabled by default, and you need a customization code for that, and pay for that. So you include everything everything, and to disable – please pay. Nice business guys. But not for me. Will look for another theme, a shame because I use a lot a wpestate theme from you that’s absolutely great. I cannot use this theme because the final client doesn’t need to know about features that I don’t offer. Thanks.
Hi Special85, I appreciate the feedback. And thank you for being our client. The modal text wording will be changed (we already have this in plan) and as I said before, we will try to make instant checkout without login through woo commerce.
Please understand that booking without login means losing details about payments (if deposits have to be paid after the request is approved by owner) and many other important data which demands user is logged in.
We don’t recommend custom work. I am not sure why you mention that as I didn’t say custom work. I said we will try to make a way to use booking + payment without login through Woo Commercepayments and instant checkout. But the theme can be used in many ways, and using booking without login in all possible aspects is not something recommended as many details need to connect the user who books to the booking requests. And without that user existing in database, many details would not be possible.
Search has many options, including custom fields with unlimited fields. I don’t know what else you would like to see, but you can send your suggestion in private and will look every each item with close detail https://themeforest.net/user/wpestate

Hello. I hope you’re well. In 2.8 released today we added the WooCommerce + Instant booking option in the theme and user is registered when he makes the deposit (so login is not needed before). Translatepress – really nice, and works well with Googletranslate, but has a problem with instant booking when in translated language – allows you to select the period, and no of persons, gives the price, and when you press instant booking button – a message appears “the selected dates are not available”.... any workaround for that or help?

Thank you for the feedback. I don’t know the plugin options, but please check if you can exclude the calendar dates / selector from translate. I will try to look into the plugins documentation, but that would be the solution since it’s instant translate and the calendar needs to have the dates (just dates) as they are selected (I assume there is some sort of instant translation happening, but I cannot be sure just from the comment). The only way this may be possible, but I don’t know 100%, is to change the order of options and if nothing is selected, default option to be the 2nd one https://prnt.sc/pan2zi

If you need a new fee like that, managed from admin, it needs custom development and requires very complex work. I cannot assist with this change I am afraid.
In Each property -> price setting you can use the Security Deposit and rename the field https://help.wprentals.org/article/1-20-about-security-deposit-fee/ That adds to total booking. But this can be used if you manage your own properties.

—> In the theme a property owner is unique. As site admin you can get duplicate notifications of all messages sent through the site (including booking requests) and login as owner using a special plugin. But that’s what we have as options.

—> Yes, we have PayPal and Stripe by default. WooCommerce can be enabled to process booking payments through WooCommerce supported merchants. You still need to choose a merchant that processes CC. You need a merchant.

Is there a way to allow owners of properties collect payment from customers offline and have a different form for that? And is there an option for which about 15% can be deducted from property owners money into the account of the platform owner?

Regarding the 2nd part, we have a deposit and a service fee option for admin to fill in. Service fee is deducted from total booking and works as admin site fee. If enabled the deposit (service fee) must be paid to admin before booking is confirmed, even if property owner confirms the request. Thank you
