Hi, I currently have a project to develop a website with forum qualities, I saw this template and thought to buy it, but I can’t find any demo about what a logged in user looks like, try this link (https://modeltheme.com/ themes /? theme = tikidocs) but it doesn’t work. Can you provide some information about this and a more in-depth demo of what can be achieved with the template? thanks. Another question is whether the use of WPBakery Page Builder is necessary.

The theme was built using the WPBakery as page builder. This means that any of the elements from the pages are requiring the page builder and we recommend it in order to use the theme at full capacity.

1. Live chat feature can be enabled with a free plugin. There are plenty of them free, on wordpress.org.
2. In terms of ticketing: the theme comes with bbPress forum, if you want to manage all the tickets / topics directly on your dashboard: https://tikidocs.modeltheme.com/forums/
3. If you want your tickets to be sent directly via email; and the discussion between you (site owner) and your customer to be made via email, then you can use the bundled plugin: Simple Support System plugin.

Like this: If(customer isn’t login yet) -> show popup “You must login before submit a ticket” else -> move them to the AddTicket page . Why i want to do that, because i want to force customer to login, if not , they will keep spam the ticket. Can we do something like that?

Would it be possible to use your theme home page only and when someone clicks a link it takes them to an external site? For example if they click help and documentation it takes them to google for example? I like your design but I don’t need the functionality of the docs or forums.

Almost all the sections with links from the home page of our theme can have external links. But to be sure, please let us know which section are you interested to use and we will tell you if you have use external links.

Hello, I am also trying to have a sidebar with my other categories listed on all KB post pages.
I cannot seem to enable the sidebar in my knowledge base by any means. When I toggle settings from the “Theme Panel” and go to MT Knowledge Settings > Knowledge Base List Layout; it does not appear to have any effect.
I tried to understand the images referenced above in your response to marlongichie’s question, but do not see the page layout option under knowledge base articles.
As a bonus, I’m trying to have a search bar persist throughout the site. I cannot enable the search icon via the Header Settings (toggling on the search icon does nothing) – I would be very grateful to have some new ideas to try. Thank you!

Can we restrict anonymous users from viewing knowledgebase articles? We want to create a knowledgebase portal with a private username and password given by our team to our friends.

This feature is available by default in WordPress.
Basically the function is called Password protected post, under visibility ( https://i.imgur.com/T6N26YM.png ).
A password protected KB will look like this: https://tikidocs.modeltheme.com/knowledgebase/basic-knowledge-requirements/
And you can unlock it using the “demo” password.
This is the default WP solution. But there are plenty of plugins to create this functionality.

The current knowledge base articles (or wikis) are added by the admin. If you want to have multiple authors to submit wikis to your site, you can create author accounts from WordPress; Then the authors can submit wikis / kb articles from their WP dashboard.
Then you need to approve the articles in order to be published on the site.
If you want a more user friendly solution using a frontend submission form, then we can discuss and create it for you via freelancing work.

Demo-sliders are located into the downloaded package from themeforest in /sampledata/Dummy_Revolution_Sliders/
Slider name: 01_main_slider.zip (*) – The sliders are automatically imported when the Demo Importer is fired. After completing the import the site will contain all demo data + revolution sliders

I’ve installed the theme and imported the demo but I can’t find the forum page and the link from the menu bar takes me to an external link. Any suggestions?
Usually the forums can be accessed from /forums/ of your website.
Note: Make sure if the bbPress was installed before importing demo content via demo importer, otherwise the forums were not imported.
