After the latest update, there is Sort By -dropdown on inventory page showing “configure under…” text even after I did configure and tried to remove it once again. How can I remove the dropdown from the page? Sorting changed also, it doesn’t sort by date or by price. What is the default sorting rule? Please add “sort by price” functionality as well as the new alphabetical.
Also top pagination shows even after disabled from the inventory settings. Would be nice to being able to remove it completely.
I fixed this by removing the form and all its content from plugins\automotive\auto_templates\listing-filter-sort.php But would be nice to have the disable dropdown option as it used to be, not showing the configure it -text. also top pagination never was removed even after disabling it from the settings.

Automotive Listing Version 14.9 is NOT in current download files and will not auto update! Even with Envato Market Installed and working.
Hi Joshua – I just downloaded it here and it looks like it is version 14.9.1, what version are you seeing on your end? I’m not sure about what is happening on Envato’s end regarding the auto update but hopefully they get it sorted out soon!

When you edit a listing under Gallery Images you just click the button Set default image:
I know this but I want featured image, because I dont want to show featured image in post layout.
You would need to do some customization to integrate these changes

you’ve excluded the already sold vehicles from the search. Is it possible to switch it on again? I would be glad about a short instruction.

You can display sold vehicles under Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> Inventory Page >> Sold Vehicles – set this option to Show
yes.. ok but can i also only add it to the search? It was a buck but i need it as a future.! The Deeplinks to the listing works. it is possible to index it to the search.
You can easily look at your sold inventory by adding &show_sold to the end of your inventory URL.
Unfortunately you cannot add it only to the search without customization. We had numerous users complain that if sold vehicles are set to be hidden then they should not appear in the search results, so we updated this functionality.
i am trying to update my site to your new theme update when i try it in my temp url i see there is a white band before and after container section seems like before and after not working when compared with the old theme i had in my live site can you check and suggest a fix . Another option if it doesn’t specifically have to be the post ID: You can go to a listing category of what you want to search for (ie Stock Number, VIN Number, etc) and check off the option Show Column and it will display the column under Listings. Then you can quickly search for VIN number, stock number, etc.

I am looking for the following features: - feed the image galleries from separate folders on the server (I’ll ftp them) instead of using the awkward media manager of WP that stores everything into the same folder. - ability to access the mysql inventory via an external program.
I cannot judge from the demo. Is that possible ?

Thanks for your interest! Answers to your questions:
1. You can enable hotlinking under Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> Hotlink Gallery Images and then upload the images into folders via FTP. Then you could import your listings with CSV or XML under Listings >> File Import and it would just load the pictures from these directories (bypassing the WP Media Manager).
2. Regarding the ability to access all of the listing data from the database, yes this is entirely possible since all of the information is stored in the database.

Already extended my support twice and this is a question so simple you should be able to answer it here by goodwill…but that’s just my opinion…
I’m not really sure what you are referring to, but you can customize the colors under Theme Options >> Custom Styling >> Color Scheme
Under mobile menu, all I see is customizing the colors of the menu, not the page background. Menu is pushed above the slider and the background is white.
What is your website URL? If you change the Header Background color under Header does that change it?
Website: www,exclusivecars.se it does change, but we want transparent header background on desktop site and black background on mobile site.
Ahh ok I understand the situation now, thanks for sending the URL that helped a lot. Currently the only way to change this on mobile-only would be using custom CSS and placing it under Theme Options >> Custom Styling >> Custom CSS. This is a good suggestion though and we will add an option for it in the next update we release!

1. Make sure you have the Child Theme activated
2. Make a copy of wp-content/plugins/automotive/auto_templates/listing_content.php and move it to wp-content/themes/automotive-child/auto_templates/
3. Add the button where ever you want it in the listing_content.php file that you just moved to the child theme.

Hello, I purchased your theme Car dealership. I am satisfied with it, but I have to ask you for if it is possible. Now, I have one page with offered cars. There I offering cars where I am an owner. Now, I want to also offer another cars which I don’t owning. So a would like to create another page with others cars offering. I am having issues after updating the theme, I dont understand what is the exact issue. https://prnt.sc/p82xga when I click on (Request Info and Schedule Test Drive) its take me to the other website. Before it was poping up nicely.
I just looked up your website URL from a previous support ticket and it looks like you have tried putting an email address into the custom link field under Listing Options >> Single Listing Page >> Top Buttons. You can set the link to either be an external link or the modal popup for the form. It is not for receiving email. If you are trying to change who receives the email for those forms you would have to do it under Listing Options >> Email Templates.

Ok I got it, thanks. Have a question that on home page Thumbnail comes with first image, what if I want to add Featured Image and show on homepage instead of gallery image.
You would need to do some customization in order to change this behaviour, there is no built in toggle or setting for this.
