Hey Alec, The next release will sort this out. For now, add this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab to correct the display:

1: It is hidden intentionally due to the smaller available screen space. You can make it display by adding this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab:

2/3: You could use a multi-site WordPress install to give you a separate set of theme options for each needed location. If you do not wish to do that, it would require modding to the salient/css/colors.php file and salient/nectar/helpers/header.php file

And yes – one more thing – if I use this plugin “Local SEO for WordPress – Yoast” then map type “Google Map” doesn`t work on your page builder. It doesn`t show an error or anything, there is just an empty space.

But when I disable Yoast Local plugin, your map works as it should be.

Hello. I solved the issue. It was a plugin called”Autoptimize”. I deactivated the plugin. Is there a solution for this though?

The issue is coming from this snippet of CSS that your thrive plugin is adding:

You can globally correct it by adding this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab:

1. This image used on the row background is not tall enough for the content area + parallax. Currently, it’s uploaded at 1600×600, but more appropriate dimensions would be around 1600×1000

2. I have uploaded the image with size same as set in the woocommerce tab. ut the image still blur. When the cursor is hovered on the image, it zoomed and appear sharp. Do you know how this can be fixed?

Salient doesn’t alter the images that WooCommerce will cut based on the settings I previously mentioned. I can see that you’re using the “Site accelerator” option in your Jetpack plugin – you could try disabling that to prevent it from altering your images and see if that helps.

Hey cyb1, the transparent header will automatically trigger on single portfolio items as long as you have a BG color or BG image set for the header. Can you please share your URL where you’re not able to get the transparent effect active?

Hello and thanks for the reply – I am in the process of updating all my portfolio layouts, I am very happy with the salient theme overall and how it works together with WPML.

from the information, I could gather it seems I have to go with the standard “Project Header setttings” in order to trigger the transparent header – so I have to change my layout it seems.

This is my current CSS settings to deal with the portfolio header

You can set a background color in the page header settings just so that the effect will get triggered, and then still hide the page header with CSS:

.single-portfolio #page-header-wrap {

If you’re trying to automatically use a sidebar layout for all of your site pages, you’d need to copy “page.php” into your child theme and then simply replace the contents of that file with the parent theme “sidebar.php”.

Hey atwatwx, that error could occur if WordPress doesn’t have enough memory on the web server to unzip and upload the contents of the zip file – have you tried to change your memory_limit yet via the php.ini? Also, if you upload the extracted theme via FTP, you can bypass having to do this.

Thanks for clarifying ruimdenker – that’s not how the shape dividers work. The shape dividers are an SVG shape that gets overlaid on top of the row content in a color of your choosing. The setup you’re talking about is would require “masking” of the row content itself.

So it is not possible to connect the rows?

Unfrotunately no, connecting the rows would require “cropping” the row in that shape when in reality there is only a colored SVG shape sitting on top of the row content
