I have purchased the theme a while ago and must say its a great system. YES its complex but I think its the nature of an ” Airbnb – clone ” set-up.
Thanks for the Elementor integration wich works nicely.
One think I need to ask you. Is there any possibility to identify user ( booker ) and owner in the backend. Both are added into Owner and User the same way without any Label to identify them by group ?

I hope you also like the other new ones (woo commerce to process payments through any merchant supported by woo commerce, and there are hundreds of them), instant booking without login when payments are processed through woo commerce etc.
Regarding your question, I need to understand first how you use the theme and I will add to our wishlist to see what can be done.
If you have everyone as owners – it means you don’t separate them on register. In this case everyone has the same permission (to add or book from the same account). That’s why there is no difference.
If you separate users on registration, only people who register as “i want to rent and book” will have the owner page created so you can see these in admin -> owners.

Yes I am NOT seperating user on registration but I am limiting property submission access by User Name ( very nice feature ). I have sent this question because I am bit worried that I am ending up having many users and owners dublicated in both and I could loose orientation. Thats why – maybe you could add in the future a checkbox in the backend for admin to select Owner or User .. but this is maybe not the most improtant…
... more important for me is that I need your advice or help … how can I configure the registration form ?
Do you see a chance to add more fields which of corse relates to the database. PLUS can I make them mandatory ?
BTW. After having set-up the standart PayPal configuration – I have changed an tested the new Woocommerce integration and it works out of the box … realy well done !!

I am not sure how to make the separation in the scenario you describe since the limitation is only by username, not by user type (since all users register without the separation on), but I will see if there is something we can do.
The registration form changes need custom development I am afraid. I can share this technical help to explain our current code https://help.wprentals.org/article/register-and-login/ but for this part of the theme the changes need to be implemented to know the steps, so a developer will be needed to assist.
PS: Thank you for letting us know about Woo Tests. Many clients already use it for payments and we’ve received positive feedback since with this you can really save a lot of money on custom work to add new merchants for payments.

hi, another pre-purchase question. With WP Rentals, is it possible to categorize listings, having each category with a certain set of custom fields in the same website install? For example, daily rentals would be a category with its custom fields, another category could be something like experiences (per hour rental) and that would have its own set of custom fields, or another category (also hourly) to rent spaces for example. We would allow to offer a website that could encompass all types of rentals on the same site, and each section would require its own independent custom fields. If this is possible it would fit perfectly what we need. Is this possible? Thanks.

Yes, admin gets payment as the merchants are set from wp-admin -> woo commerce settings with the admin merchant details.
WooCommerce can allow only admin to configure the merchants that are added to woocommerce checkout.
What you describe still needs payment from admin -> to owner (because of the security implications in any kind of online transactions, I am not aware of any system to allow payment from user to owner directly through online merchants).
In woo commerce they have an add-on (similar to rentals club- paypal adaptive payments which we offer for free) which costs to be added to woo commerce (in general), but we didn’t test to advise if it can be used or not for woo commerce transactions.

1. You can use WooCommerce for checkout and add a merchant that is supported by WooCommerce that works with VND. I found this for example https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-payment-for-banknet-in-viet-nam/
2. Form of payment via e-wallet – I don’t know how it must work, sorry. If woo commerce supports this, then you can use WooCommerce feature which allows users to process the bookings through woo commerce merchants. From theme end, all you have to do is enable an option https://help.wprentals.org/article/install-woocommerce-and-use-woocommerce-payments/
WooCommerce is a free plugin which you install from wordpress, and the merchant you want to add to woo commerce may be also as a free option (the example i showed above seems to be free). Woo Have hundreds of merchants which can be added as paid addons too. You can check on their site if you know a particular merchant.

Hi, It’s 1 domain but you are not forced to stay on a specific domain name. You can start with abc.com and then if you want, you delete abc.com and move to drf.com website with the same license. As long as it’s 1 live domain with 1 license, the name of the domain is not important. Hope this explains better. Thank you

The property from your screenshot is not published, so the bookings you add are no published either.
We don’t use credit system in the theme. You can use Paid Submission with WooCommerce and let user pay for listing to be published and then for listing to be set to featured, but it’s a transaction that happens through a merchant (not from account credit)

Hello, I’m wondering if it would be possible to change the site from daily/hourly booking, to instead take bookings for tours. ie guest chooses a tour on Monday in the time slot of 1pm to 2pm.
I understand this will require customising the code, just wondering if it will be possible to achieve without breaking the rest of the site ?

Bu default the booking form that sends the booking request is coded so that is can sync with owner dashboard and owner properties.
If you need a similar flow, then custom development will be needed but I cannot guarantee this solution without doing the actual development. In this case a confirmation can be given based on the details you want to change by the developer who will assist.
If you want to manage these tours as site administrator, you may be able to use extra plugins (but such tours wouldn’t be part of theme search , shortcodes, or user dashboard).

We already have what you describe, but labeled in a different way
Admin sets what is the global deposit he wants to receive for each booking for be confirmed (it’s a setting in wp-admin -> theme options)

That doesn’t need custom development so you can use the theme features as they are.

1. Deposit (paid to admin) 2. Pay remaining balance (paid to admin or you let people handle this outside the theme and hide the button to pay remaining balance in the theme)

Hi, I have an already reported problem with the inner message system. When somebody sends a booking request, gets exactly the same message like the boat owner. I mean both get the message ,, Dear A, you have a booking request from B”. But it is not okay when it is sent to ,,B”, because it is written that ,,Dear A…”.
Please help me how to correct this problem.

As explained in my previous reply (if you want, I can copy-paste it here, let me know), the message is the same. It is written in the message that it is sent to the user and to the owner ( but it’s one – the same message).
We send a copy of the message to user who initiates the booking to be easier for him to reply from Inbox by simply hitting reply.
In this case, all we can do is change Dear A – to something general like Dear, of Hello or not send the message at all to user (but this was requested to exist as a feature so we would have to provide a custom code solution just for you if that’s a solution you want)

I cannot find your support username to check the tickets open in our client support – http://support.wpestate.org, but if there is something urgent please let me know and will check the tickets (i need the ticket ID). We have a support team from Monday – Friday, Europe timezone and we do everything possible to answer in max 1 business day to each client, but in general we try to answer much faster.

—> This article sums the theme options for payments https://wpestate.org/monetize-wp-rentals-theme-for-submissions-and-booking-requests/
—> As the admin you can ask for a deposit and a service fee (these can be the same value if you wish to take as a deposit just your service fee) in % or fixed value, and this value is deducted from the total booking. As the admin, you can choose if you wish to include in this deposit the cleaning and city fee or not. If you ask for a 100% deposit, the fees are automatically included.
—> Payments always go to site admin (for security reasons, you cannot allow users to pay each other).
—> The user will need to pay the deposit (if admin asks that) in order for the booking to be confirmed (even if the owner approves the booking request). The money goes to the admin.
—> The difference can be paid by the user to owner outside the theme (we have the option to pay the remaining value in the theme as well, but the money goes still to admin).
—> We have developed an add-on in partnership with Rentals Club for clients to transfer PayPal payments from Admin to Owners PayPal accounts
—> The Rentals Club addon for adaptive payments through PayPal was restricted from PayPal end to new clients a few months ago. So only old clients can use that service from PayPal, through Rentals Club add-on that Rentals support for free – https://www.rentalsclub.org/how-payments-management-extension-works/ You may be able to use this for automatic payments.

—> WooCommerce is not supported to process payments in our theme. Money can go to different merchants supported by Woocommerce (they have support for over 150 merchants). But the money goes to admin account as well.

In 2.8 released today we added the WooCommerce + Instant booking option in the theme and user is registered when he makes the deposit (so login is not needed before).
A deposit is needed to be set and paid in this case. Please see a demo here https://demo1.wprentals.org/properties/condo-in-liberty-state-park/ This has been a feature requested by many of you and we’re excited to see this new feature live now.
We also updated the property page login for the situation where login is needed (non instant booking or instant booking without woocommerce). Social login is removed to not create confusion, text is updated to be more clear.
We added Virtual Tour in property page and also the possibility to replace the theme BOOK NOW button with a custom link of your choice (many of you asked to use affiliate link for book now, so this is now possible).
There is a new calendar added to Property Booking Form (same as to Search by check-in and checkout) – modern, fresh, easier to manage.
We added a vertical search that can be created with search custom fields which many of you desired to have as well.

It is possible to use the booking in a page through some custom code and we may be able to give some directions, but this change will need a developer assistance to implement.
