Hello, I have a big bug: I’ve desactivated the academist-lms plugin for an update. When I reactivate the plugin, the archive page of course category doesn’t works anymore! url/course-category/certificate/ display a 404error. I’ve tried on a clean new install, same problem, if the plugin is desactivated once, it doesn’t works anymore… Any idea to solve this?

It’s not an upgrade problem… I’ve made a clean instal on a new subdomain. Installed your theme + demo. Everything works fine. Then I’ve desactivated / reactivated the lms plugin >> the page that display one course categorie stop working.

Hi there, maybe it is the most beautiful theme for education that i have ever seen, but I have found a lot of issues in the Explorer version and mobile version as well. I hope to see better work in the future but now I have to buy other theme.

IE is actually an outdated browser, since the release of Microsoft Edge. IE 11 was their last call and support for it has dropped years ago. Even Microsoft doesn’t waste time and resources developing further an already buggy and incompatible environment. That’s why they developed Edge.

Please note that compatibility means that all functionalities are working on that specific platform and they are. The appearance of that functionality is a different thing and that’s what we’re talking about here. We understand your needs, but you need to understand as well that companies grow with technology and have to keep up with the latest standards. IE is definitely not a standard. In fact, if you take a look at this official chart http://gs.statcounter.com/browser-market-share you’ll notice the huge difference in market share between IE and Chrome. Explorer’s share in total is around 3% out of more than 10 billion pages measured on this site.

As for the mobile version, our support staff could help you clear out any design that you do not like using simple CSS.

Hi, can you confirm if the questions all have to be added under the Questions tab or can they be added when creating a course? Seems I can only add to the Questions tab and then select the questions from a drop down. Doing this does not group the questions to a specific course so to identify a set of questions to a particular course then the course title needs to be added to the question, which looks wrong.

Also noticed that Visual Composer does not appear under lesson creation pages. Custom settings have been set in VC options.

1. Could we customize it for the students certificate. I mean that I need the student to pt his pin code to get his certificate ?

2. Could we set a dashboard for the students ? for knowing their courses , taking it online and get their certificates after achieving the full course ?

1. Student certificates are not initially incorporated as one of the theme’s functionalities. You could, however, add this with a third-party plugin.

2. The students have their own dashboard page that lists the courses they bought. You could check this and other functionalities by clicking on the Login button in the header of the demo website and using the following login credentials: Username: test Password: test

3. Yes, online payment can be set up using the WooCommerce plugin that comes bundled with the theme.

This theme was designed for the student and there is no instructor user type so there is no way for them to monitor their courses. This is only available for the students that enroll in them and the administrator.

You could edit the user’s permissions perhaps use a third-party plugin in order to add this functionality.

Hello . In registration form , we have 4 value (username,mail,password and confirm password) . Can i add another value number and when customer register to show number also in database or in table . Please help me ??

The Academist theme has Contact Form 7 forms plugin which does not contain an auto-increment number option for a form. However, the database has a unique id for every submitted form which makes them unique.

If you’d still like to add this functionality you will have to use third-party addons for the contact form 7 plugin.

No matter what address we put into the Snazzy Maps Google Maps block, it always shows a map of Australia.

If we put no address in there, it still shows a map of Australia.

When the Academist LMS plugin is active, the entire website is white. When it is deactivated the website shows up. Also, on data import, nothing imported for Portfolio or Team. There are shortcodes on the Home Page where there should be content. ​

Also, when I try to submit a ticket on your support site, there is no button to submit. That’s why I am posting here.

These plugins are not necessary for the theme to function properly, so you can deactivate them. However, you will not be able to connect to Instagram and Twitter nor use the designated widgets to place your respective feeds within a page of your website.

Your live preview page https://academist.elated-themes.com/events/2023-06, the “View As List Month Day” has the perfect gap/spaces. But when I applied in my page, it shows “View As List MonthDay” the text all stick together.

I updated the latest version of your theme. But my menu all become double.

If you use the 4.6.20.1 Event Calendar plugin version, you will not have the aforementioned issue.

You do not need to buy the new version of the Event Calendar plugin since it is included in the theme. See this article. All you need to do is revert back to an earlier version.

The Event Tickets does not come with the theme.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I just worry if I the Event tickets plus is not compatible with your version of Event calendar.

Besides, I tried to update the latest theme, but following error appeared.

Fatal error: Cannot declare class AcademistElatedClassWidget, because the name is already in use in public_html/wp-content/themes/academist/framework/modules/widgets/lib/widget-class.php on line 121 The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

I also tried to send email to support@elated-themes.com, and was bouned as the reason:

Remote Server returned: ‘550 The sending IP (103.197.57.34) is listed on https://spamrl.com as a source of viruses.’

We have not nor could we test all of the Events Calendar plugin’s extensions for compatibility, we are sorry, but we cannot guaranty full compatibility. we hope you can understand.

Frontend is not working on our website (WP Bakery)

We disabled Visual Composer – Frontend editor in all our themes, the reason for that is that some of our shortcodes use advanced JavaScript functionalities, and these elements will not get displayed correctly until you refresh the page after adding them.

You can still enable the Frontend editor by editing the following file: wp-content/themes/academist/framework/modules/visualcomposer/visual-composer-config.php

And removing the entire ‘vc_disable_frontend’ function.

How do we remove the word “Academist” from the url Slug on Google Searches. For each programme that we are searching, instead of the Course Title, it is showing the breadcrumbs as https://www.ourwebsite.com > Academist Courses. We would want the “Academist Courses” to be replaced by the Course Title.

In order to edit that title within the theme’s files you will have to alter the academist_core_set_open_graph_meta function within the following file: wp-content/plugins/academist-core/lib/helpers-functions.php

Honestly it didn’t help. I am not a technical person to edit this file. Though I checked the file to see if I can find some title “Academist Course” however, I couldn’t find this word for me to edit. :(

Within the function, you would have to edit the way the title is being created. This requires some custom coding. If you’re not familiar with programming we could suggest searching for someone to hire for this kind of job at Envato

Goodevening, I have studied this template, this is not clear to me:1st, is a potential client capalble of viewing the calendar availability? And where is it possible for a client to register it’s course availabilty(or is it the other way around? Client search for classes availability? 2nd Is it already translation ready; does the tekst change in the desired language? If yes , which languages? 3rd Can you link the site with a community on facebook? Hope to hear from you, because I am desperately looking for a well function template that allows my client to watch the calendars’ class availability? 1- Yes, there is a calendar page that you can make accessible to the user which can show the timetable for any events you input into it. There the client can search for the desired and available events. You can see it on our live demo here. Please note that this page is used for the presentation of the layout only and does not showcase any events.

2- Our themes can be translated using the Poedit software or some of the translation plugins such as Loco Translate or WPML. Bear in mind that only WPML is tested with our themes, so others might not work perfectly with every element of the theme, but from the feedback of our users, in most cases, there are no problems.

3- There are two options for linking the website with FaceBook. You could add social links to any Course Instructor on their single pages, or you could enable the Facebook share option. Also, you could enable the users to log in and register using Facebook.

The Events Calendar plugin is bundled with the theme and you do not need to purchase it.

Due to the fact that our theme uses dynamic custom shortcodes that are not compatible with the RTL writing direction used in the Arabic language the theme cannot be used with it.

The header layout is not broken, there is no top bar enabled containing the previously visible Login widget because there is not enough width on some devices to showcase all of the widgets within the top bar. You could enable it with simple custom CSS of course, or you could set the mobile widget area to contain the login widget instead of the search widget. The best option, however, might be to place a menu item within the mobile menu for the login.

As you can see in the image here, the Course Curriculum is clearly visible.

However, if you still have any issues with the theme you could, upon purchase of the theme within a 6 months support period, submit a ticket to our support forum and include your website URL along with wp-admin access and one of our support agents will assist you.
