Hi,
I am also having various issues with WordPress 5.5 I assume. My website does not show widgets, the menu is way bigger and some pages aren’t showing all content. Hopefully that’s fixed in the update as well.

Adding to the comment about things not working after WordPress 5.5 update, the clients carousel no longer works. WP Bakery says it’s possibly because of jQuery. Will you be updating the theme to take care of these issues?

I noticed when upgrading to WordPress 5.5, the drop downs in the main menu didn’t work. Also the header had several display issues. I have since reverted to a backup just prior to the upgrade and all is well once again. Just wanted to bring it to your attention in case WordPress 5.5 isn’t playing nice with Tower.

LayerSlider WP will not update to 6.9.7 – Tower Theme
The plugin page states “installed but not activated, requires update”. I attempt to update, and it proceeds to process the the update and then states that the “Plugin updated successfully”. Unfortunately, when I return to the plugin page it still states:
Installed version: 6.9.2 installed but not activated, requires update Minimum required version 6.9.7 Available version 6.9.7
Also, when I go directly to the provided repository link (on the updating Plugin page for LayerSlider WP) for the zip file and download the zip file, it states that it is in fact the 6.9.2 version…

Yes, if you are going to use the predefined single portfolio layout. Instead of single portfolio items you can create a page with visual composer and rewrite the link of the single portfolio item.
You can add more than one video this with WpBakery Visual Composer and create a new layout as you wish.

Hi, first of all, let me thank you for developing such a great theme as TOWER, i love it. but, here is the thing, im trying to install it on WP and i have 2 major issues:
1 – it keeps asking me to update these 2 plugins
WPBakery Visual Composer (needs 6.1.0) LayerSlider WP (needs 6.9.7)
2- when i try to install the Dummy Version id like to work with, it frozes at 65%, i tried with other Dummies and it works (apart from the Plugins Problem) but exactly the one that i need (Corporate) it always freeze at 65%...

You don’t need to buy extra plugins! We will update with new versions ASAP. On last update (some days before) we have updated WPBakery to 6.1 and Slider Revolution to 6.1.7.

I’m sorry. I had to install the Codeless Framework plugin and then it worked perfectly. However, the Slider Revolution plugin doesn’t seem to work. I currently have 5.2.4.1 version. However, is there a more recent version included in the files? I updated it via the Envato Market plugin so I am not sure if it came through

Please check your dashboard for a message requiring you to update included plugins. The same message that asked you to install “Codeless Framework”. If it is, follow the instructions. Revolution slider is one of the included premium plugins that have an extended license. Which means you can only update it when it is updated with theme.

Hello, I installed Tower on a fresh Wordpress installation and imported a demo. The main page is not automatically chosen. After manually chosen and viewed, there are no menu items, the sliders are not working, a lot of pictures (but not all) are missing. Some Posts, Pages and Media has definitely been imported. Same problem with other demos. They definitely do not look like it is advertised and shown here in the live demo. One demo (SEO) has even the complete footer missing while other demos have the footer. Is that normal and how is that possible with a fresh Wordpress, the theme is installed per manual and there are no errors in console. Help would be appreciated.
It seems that the theme has serious problems importing dummy data in a way that it looks like advertised. After importing several other demos, the footer now shows up for the one wanted demo, but is still half empty (no recent posts and comments) and contains the social media button which are not there in the demo. The small top bar is still completely empty. The navigation/menu bar is covering the top part of the slider, so it is never seen completely. There are no menu items at all. At least I found out that the Revolution Slider has to be imported manually. The installation manual did not clearly state that. It is quite disappointing that this theme requires so much fixing and time to set up.
I reinstalled vanilla wordpress again and installed the theme. Already directly after installation without use of any demo, the footer is not shown and there is no way to get a footer, although I switched it off and on again in admin area and there is content specified for the footer. In your Youtube Videos this simple page after installation of the theme has a footer. So something seems to be wrong with the theme.
I found out that the top header and the footer are not shown/populated with data, because there are no widgets assigned. This is also the case with the demos. For some demos the widgets are not imported and set correclty. When you import a demo first that is able to set a widget and then you import the other demo which was unable to set the widget, then the widget is still there, although it is the wrong widget. That seems to be a bug.
