Hi! First of all congratulations for such a great theme and plugin! I’m now working on a site using wp-rentals and have a doubt.
When filling check-in, check-out and guests data in the form in advanced search or in half map listing page, when you then click in one of the results it generates a query string in the url and auto populates these fields in property detail page.
Example of url: http://mysite.com/properties/nv1-privada-y-centrica/?check_in_prop=21-11-2019&check_out_prop=30-11-2019&guest_no_prop=3
But if I click on the map result instead, it doesn’t. It just opens the details page
Example of url: http://mysite.com/properties/nv1-privada-y-centrica/
Where can I fix this? Is there an option somewhere in configuration or could you help me to find out where to edit the code for that.
Thank you very much for your help! Best regards, Vadim.
Hi Vadim, Thank you for the feedback. Honestly, I don’t know if technically is possible to apply the same code to infobox. Please open a ticket in support http://support.wpestate.org/ to double check http://support.wpestate.org/ and if it’s possible, will add to wishlist for sure. Thank you
Hi! Unfortunately my access to support is expired. I don’t want to buy the support extension without being sure support team can help me fixing this issue. I will first try by myself. Otherwise, I think it would be an important update for the theme. Thank you very much!
Hi, It may be possible to set cookies through JS, but has to be tested for a valid confirmation. I will add to wishlist, but this is the best I can guide you. Thank you
Hi, i would like to use this theme for a different purpose, for booking hair services. does it have a different booking form? that just says date, time, select service, book? i don’t need the check in and check out feature. thanks
Sorry to bother, i have already purchased 2 themes i wasted my money on, i just want to make sure your theme meets my needs. So here is what i need,
1) I want a directory websites for hairstylists, i don’t need it for rental, i simply need it for directory, listing, booking appointments and accepting security deposit. I like the security deposit feature of your theme. Thats important for me. is it possible to have a simple header search for keywords, location and category? I don’t need the per night and all that feature. Just, listing service, simple booking widget for date, time, select service, book.
2) do guest users and listing owners have separate dashboard or is it the same? i logged into the demo using the log in info and was directed to one dashboard, i suppose its for listing owners. In the dashboard it has reservations and bookings, is it the same thing? i would appreciate if you can answer my questions, thank you very much
Hello Efeak
Thank you for the comment. Please see my reply

—> In booking check-in and check-out are mandatory. You could use hourly booking – like this https://skirent.wprentals.org/ but not sure if that is what you’re looking for.

==> We have the option to separate users on registration, limit submit to specific user admin selects or let all register as people who want to book and want to rent. So it’s up to you.
Thank you
After I get this theme, I will build my website in a beta. For example beta.mywebsite.com. Then I will move it to my original domain. (www.mysite.com etc.). Would you mind if I got a single license? Or what would you suggest?
Hi omerozselcuk, Thank you for writing. We allow this (1 beta and 1 live). It’s ok. Thank you
I bought and can ı use my licence 2 beta and live? My beta url: villadatatil.org , live url: villadatatil.com . Is this problem or any ıssues?
Hello Omer, Thank you for buying the theme. As long as one is not live, it’s ok (kept under maintanence just for tests) Thank you
Hello. Could we have access to a control panel demo for property managers to see how it works? Thanks.
Hi, Thank you for writing. Property manager is the same as owner? You can add listings and see how they work in any demo (user – 1234 is already created). The only comment I must make is demo submissions are manually approved and we don’t approve them for design purposes. But I can help check wp-admin if you wish and simulate register and add land publish isting as owner. For that please send a message from here https://themeforest.net/user/wpestate Thank you
I want to buy your theme, but when viewing the demo version, I noticed that the search form for property works strange… If i choose check in i cant choose check out, as its not working. In fact, i have to choose check in and check out inside check in. Is a bit strange.
Is it possible to fix it or not?
Hi. Thank you for the feedback. Check-in and check-out dates are selected from same calendar https://prnt.sc/pz3mh1 User doesn’t need to close check-in manually (it stays open to do both check-in and check-out for that reason). But we will check how to make that more clearly from usability point of view. Thank you for letting us your feedback. That’s important
Hi there,
Since its possible to add an affiliate link under the book now button: Is there a way to work with affiliate data feed such as CSV or XML? If not, is that a feature that you’ll add in the near future?
Thank you
Hi, I assume you want to do properties import. WP All Import is working on an add-on for Rentals theme for their WP ALL IMPORT plugin, but that’s all I can recommend as tool to import properties.
Thank you
Thanks for your reply. Thats indeed what i mean. For example to import 100 listings from affiliate company “x” and 50 from affiliate company “y” Do i understand it correctly that they are building an add-on for this theme specificly? Any idea when thats finished/usable?
Thanks you.
I don’t have a reply on this from them. You can reach and ask directly though – they are very responsive http://www.wpallimport.com/support/ Thank you
Hello
I am looking for a wordpress plugin that allows me to rent rooms from a hotel for 12 and 24 hours with different prices. I wanted to know if this is possible with this plugin. I been having trouble finding a software that is based on hours and not days like most hotel plugins. I would also like to know if there is a user friendly control panel where i can block unavailable hours and if the only avaible payment integrations are paypal and stripe.
Thanks a lot.
Hello adrian2105
Thank you for the message
I answered on chat too, not sure if you saw my reply there.
We have hourly booking, but you need to put price by 12h block and we don’t have that. You can put price per hour and minim hours but still it wouldn’t be as your client wants. I can share a demo if you wish to check, but to make an idea this would be hourly booking https://office.wprentals.org/listings/hourly/
Blocked dates can be done only through ical (like google calendar). Manual bookings cannot be added by owner same as in daily calendar.
Payments can be any payment from the theme (paypal or stripe) or switch to woo commerce payments and use any merchant from woo commerce.
Thank you
If you wish to see a demo with wp-admin and hourly booking enabled https://themeforest.net/user/wpestate please send a message from here https://themeforest.net/user/wpestate
Thank you
Hi, can you help me with a simple direction. On the Google Maps configuration tab of the theme I need to configure a fixed Lat Log for the property page, is there a way to just load the map zoom in the property location. Which file should I investigate?
Thanks in advance!
Hi MApec
Thank you for the comment.
i am not sure what you need to do and I would need more info to answer, but in each property there are specific fields for map

do you have mobile apps for this theme?
Hello, We don’t have Mobile App. Only WordPress theme version. Thank you
I have some questions before buying.
I want to rent my holiday home in Spain.
I need the following functions:
Is it possible to set a deposit (20%) of the price
Is it possible to set the following prices:
Price per week price per month
I want to set Novembre – December:
Price for a week: 180 $ and for the full month: 450 $
Price per guest for towels
Final cleaning price
Hello LordVarus
Thank you for the interest in our theme. Please see my reply
Is it possible to set a deposit (20%) of the price
—> Yes. But it’s globally set by admin and applies to each booking.
Is it possible to set the following prices:
Price per week price per month
—> No. We have price per day or price per hour, price day our for 7d+ bookings and price per day for 30d+ bookings, price per guest
I want to set Novembre – December:
Price for a week: 180 $ and for the full month: 450 $
—> You can do custom prices, but only for the price type we support. You can add custom price in the calendar by choosen between which dates to apply the custom price.
Price per guest for towels
—> You can use extra price options and put towels as extra option per guest (or per guest and per night) https://help.wprentals.org/article/1-20-add-extra-options-in-booking-form/
Final cleaning price
—> WE have special cleaning fee – https://prnt.sc/pyhj3g
-> You can select Cleaning Fee calculation as single fee, per night, per guest or per night and guest
Thank you
Hi, is it possible can you add turkish selection on admin side and front side as well? i tried to translate a theme earlier but it is hard. so could you do it as selection?
Hi. Unfortunately we don’t have this translation. You would have to do it following our help instructions – https://help.wprentals.org/article/translation/
Thank you
I need one website for rent private Villa and rent luxury water sport toys like jet ski, surfboard, boat and other equipments. Can you please give me advice, can i use this web theme for that and which demo to use. I need use option price per night for booking accommodation and price per hour for equipments booking…
Hi hostese
Thank you for the comment.
We have a mixed booking option (choose price per night or per hour) – as you submit the property, as shown in this demo https://office.wprentals.org/ (“day or night is just a text label)
But the fields for submission are the same regardless of the category,, so that may be confusing to use for different type of rentals.
Ideally you can create 2 separate sites so you manage the fields to show in submit and in search by the type of rental.
If you need further help or want to test, please let me know.
Thank you
Tkank you for answers. Can I use than, one demo for accommodation rental with domain, and use another demo for equipments rental per hour on subdomain of website.
Hi, In this scenario you have 2 separate installations, but yes you can have them. The only comment is that each installation will need its own license purchased and activated.
Thank you
After some time setup for customer he make some really interesting question. Why a rent customer to have same menus with a owner of listings? I think is confusing a customer come to rent to have button to add some listings. You have some plan in future to have different user menu?
My mistake, i dindt see that exist option in OPTIONS with “Only these users can publish”. Thank you that is great.
Hi Grphoto, Thank you for the follow up. That’s what I was going to suggest to check as well, to use the option to limit who can rent. We also have the option to allow users to choose on registration if they want to book or rent and book. Thanks again!
Some Info on Registration and User Account Info ( User = Holiday Guest )
At the moment new User can register only with minimal Informations required – we have had this discussion here for long.
BUT .. if you have enabled Woocommerce there is a way to gather much more Info from the booking client at the checkout page. ( WP Rental Team said already but I tried now )
Woocommerce standart comes with a lot of none visible Fields that a user has to fill before beeing able to pay – but they are hidden. If you install this FREE plugin: Flexible Checkout Fields .. and activate it you will get control of all of them.
The user has to fill them on checkout and If the user then press the pay now buttom all of this data will be stored in the WP Rental theme aswell. You can find them in the User file under CUSTOMER BILLING ADRESS … bingo
I hope this can help the community …
See you
Thank you
Yes, that’s exactly what i described in my reply yesterday. But thank you very much for sharing this here!
Anna
Hi, very nice looking theme. I have a pre-purchase question/clarification:
Is there a way for payments to go directly from the renter to the property lister with a commission going to the website owner?
For example Tom built a WP Rentals based website. Beth uses this website and rents an office from Sarah. Can Beth pay Sarah directly with a commission automatically going to Tom?
It would seem both Tom and Sarah would need to be able to accept payments.
Thanks.
Hello brianf1
Thank you for the interest in our theme. Please see my reply
Is there a way for payments to go directly from the renter to the property lister with a commission going to the website owner?
—> For security reasons no online site will allow to transfer money directly to the renter as long as the renter is not the site admin.
-> As the admin you can ask for a deposit and a service fee (these can be the same value if you wish to take as a deposit just your service fee) in % or fixed value, and this value is deducted from the total booking. As the admin, you can choose if you wish to include in this deposit the cleaning and city fee or not. If you ask for a 100% deposit, the fees are automatically included.
—> The user will need to pay that deposit in order for the booking to be confirmed (even if the owner approves the booking request). The money goes to the admin. The difference will be paid by the user to owner outside the theme (we have the option to pay the remaining value in the theme, but the money goes still to admin, so if you don’t wish that to exist, we can show you how to hide with CSS).
—> To give money from admin to owner – that is not a theme feature by default. We had an extension built with by RentalsClub team who created Adaptive Payments for Paypal purchases.
—> The Rentals Club addon for adaptive payments through PayPal was restricted from PayPal end to new clients though from PayPal end. So only old clients can use that service from PayPal, through Rentals Club add-on that Rentals support for free – https://www.rentalsclub.org/how-payments-management-extension-works/
—> This is everything we can offer as automatic payment to owner.
For example Tom built a WP Rentals based website. Beth uses this website and rents an office from Sarah. Can Beth pay Sarah directly with a commission automatically going to Tom?
—> As explained above, this is not possible.
Thank you
Hi again, I am a bit confused. Doesn’t https://help.wprentals.org/article/1-20-how-to-work-with-deposit-fee-and-service-fee/ say that the admin can charge a fee? Is admin in this case the website owner?
So for each booking the admin can make money. And the property lister can also make money with a separate fee.
Is that correct?
Thank you.
Hi brianf1
Admin is the website owner.
Each booking gives website owner a fee (if he sets that)
But the theme doesn’t make payment from user to property owner, only to website owner.
The “property lister” can make money, but that money is not transferred to him automatically through the theme.
Thank you
Hi, thanks so much for the clarification. I was under the impression that the payment went from the renter to the property owner/lister. But I have now learned that the payment goes from the renter to the admin (website owner).
Do you know how most people then process the payment to the property owner/lister? Is there a workflow that your theme purchasers are using?
We envisioned a setup where people would list their office space for rent and would then take payments directly from the renters. On top of that we (the website owners) would take a commission fee.
Hello Brian
Thank you for the follow up.
To give money from admin to owner – that is not a theme feature by default.
Most clients take just the deposit which covers their service fee and don’t handle remaining payments as site owners.
Thank you
Dear WPrental Team,
I am working with your theme now for a while and want to let you know that I still Love it ….
It is well coded, has a unique and clean visual aproaching design. When I was showing your demos to potential clients they were more than willing to strat together a regional Airbnb Clone that give much more marketing power than the original.
I think you know already that many people are not 100% satisfied with the options they have in handling the incoming funds from people who booked holiday homes through the site. I think you have to revisit the structure to align much more to the way Airbnb is doing it. ( Airbnb = Admin )
Another must-have – is the fact that User = Holiday Guest must not propper fill their account details. Mandatory fields like address, street, town and zip are nessesary to make solid bookings that can be handled by the Owner.
For today my last point is the e-mail management, especially when we have integrated Woocommerce as payment gateway ( which I like very much ). At the moment the Owner approves and creates the invoice, the Holliday guest gets a WP-system message to check the account and proceed payment. At the moment, the guest=User completed the woocommerce payment – woocommerce take over the e-mail messaging because that’s the moment WP creates an order in WC….so good … but then WP sends exactly the same message to the User it did already before. I think you have to simulate and test the e-mail management again to get it fixed if it has to work with Woocommerce.
Overall I am 100% sure we will succeed in creating with WPrental a very well working regional Airbnb Clone … but it will need a bit of re-design for it.
On the other hand – if you want to let it sell as Holiday Homes Marketing Portal that generates traffic to be sent to booking points like bookig.com or airbnb – I think it’s working nicely already.
Sorry for this long and not 100% positive comment – but I want get it done and hopefully with you together.
Hi Markus,
Thank you for the feedback.
I understand there are 3 main points:
1.handling incoming funds 2. emails 3. registration 4. design
I will start with 4 – as that is something we’ve debated on for a long time. As you know, copying airbnb design is a trend nowadays. But we do like standing out and create an equally pleasant and usable site, while making sure it’s unique from design point of view so clients can be creative too with their site. Long term successful businesses are unique.
3. Registration – we will see what we can do, but clients feedback is actually different. Some want few details, some no login at all, some want just some extra fields mandatory. We will see if we can create a way to make everyone happy (it’s hard to do that though).
In the latest theme version we have an option which maybe helps (but I am not sure).
You can use WooCommerce to process payments and if you add instant booking + woo commerce, when user sends booking he has to type his first and last name, data which syncs with theme profile first and last name.
You can test here https://demo1.wprentals.org/properties/condo-in-liberty-state-park/
On checkout you also have phone number which shows automatically in woo commerce order (in wp-admin) so you can track that too.
We can also help show more fields on woo commerce checkout to track in orders.
2. I understand, but WooCommerce is different than their booking option which does what you describe, and which means actually using their bookings plugin WooCommerce bookings – https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/?utm_campaign=woocommerce%20bookings&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=search&utm_term=woocommerce%20bookings&utm_content=47860786472&&utm_campaign=woocommerce%20bookings&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=search&utm_term=woocommerce%20bookings&utm_content=47860786472&gclid=CjwKCAiAzanuBRAZEiwA5yf4uogURcwY6756iZHM0mVV9DFbM70F8FqGYpb2RqfeCt99uWigBs4poRoCHm8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds which costs $249/site/year compared to our theme which is $49 one fee for lifetime /site.
WooCommerce simple (the free version) allows to do limited things, as we have done so far – all with the purpose to save clients money on creating custom merchants. We’re the only ones to offer this kind of woo commerce integration and not ask clients to buy any additional add-on.
I understand the point is actually to send emails with more details, and btw woo commerce sends their emails too (standard order sent when making the payment). They are just not connected to booking information since booking is done in the theme.
I will save to wishlist your feedback about making emails send include more details.
1. I am actually not sure what your proposition is. Sending payment from admin to owners? Or something else.
Thank you
Hi from Kenya again….
thanks for the fast reply…...
Design: To make one thing clear … maybe you got me wrong….. I love the front end design and the way how to work on it to make unique websites that work. .. you did absolutly fine. PLUS… you are more than right to say that the package you sell is one of best deals on the market !!!
E-Mails: YES – I mean to get a bit more grip on the automated e-mails inside the theme. Using woocommerce give the chance to let WC handle the order related e-mails. Your theme is handling nicely all User and Owner e-mails like registration, pw-change, booking cancelation ect…. only when woocommerce gets into play it gets difficult for me. I would only need 1 single them e-mail saying YOUR BOOKING IS CONFIRMED ( triggered when the owner creates the invoice ) ... all other payment related e-mail can be done by WC. BTW here a little free plugin that helps a lot to customize WC e-mails ... because I also hate paying high… check google under: Email Customizer for WooCommerce
REGISTRATION: I think that people who asked for an easy booking solution without knowning the requirements of getting a solid not faked booking are completly wrong. Me as admin – I dont want to send bookings to owners only with Nickname, First and Lastname and telephonenumber plus e-mail .. all unprooved with double opt-in. This is the booking.com way – making bookings easy – with a high cancelation rate. Airbnb is going a different way – thats why they are so successfull at the owner side.
Incoming Funds Yes I ment the way the theme can handle the financial transactions between the 3 parteis involved User-Owner-Admin. It should be possible for example to set different fee strutures owner based… etc.
Anyway…. we will do it
Jambo from Kenya Markus
Thank you. Will research on the ideas! Anna
We recently had the following issue with a booking. Somebody registered with just a nick name and email address. They then made a booking but didn’t fill in their name address etc. Is there a way to make this mandatory?
We didn’t now if it was a man or woman nor what their details where just their email.
Hello, Thank you for writing.
In general clients have asked to allow booking without login, but I understand you want to force users to add more details about themselves before they send a booking.
These new tools may be more useful than spending time on custom development (which would be needed if you want to edit theme register form – technical help to understand existing structure is here https://help.wprentals.org/article/register-and-login/ )
Hope this helps.
Thank you
Hello, I have a presale questions:
1) Is there posibility to disable all booking form fileds except “Book now” button? I want this button to be affiliate link to Booking.com
2) Could I hide availability calendar because I don’t have API for properties from Booking.com? If I remove availability calendar from single property page, can I also remove it from home page search form?
3) If 1 and 2 are posible will this change some of themes funcionaities?
Thank you in advance! Dušan
Hello Dušan
Thank you for the comment.
1. We already have this – the possibility to add a custom link for “book now” button so that users book on another site. https://main.wprentals.org/properties/west-town-3rd-floor-dorm/
And you add a different url for each listing.
2. You don’t need to hide. You can just add your ical from booking to show the calendar booked as you make bookings on booking.com
But you can remove from search, as we have custom fields support for search and you can add other fields.
Thank you
Thank you for your answers.
2) I have to disable it, since I have too many properties and I can not add manualy for each property.
Then you can hide the calendar with css – https://help.wprentals.org/article/remove-availability-calendar-from-property-page/
Thank you
Thank you for your answer! I will buy it
Thank you
Hi, I have some questions that I would like to know before purchasing your theme.
1- I want to receive booking payments through the website as admin. For example, john add his room and jane want to booking. Room total booking price is 50$. When jane make booking can she make payment through website? I want receive money as admin and pay users later.
2- Your theme competible with any membership extension? Paid membership pro, s2member or other?
3- I want to write some information specific to the user who add rooms. Like about me section but I don’t want users to change it. Is there such an area?
Thank you.
Hello hakanbabar
Thank you for the comment. Please see my reply
1- I want to receive booking payments through the website as admin. For example, john add his room and jane want to booking. Room total booking price is 50$. When jane make booking can she make payment through website? I want receive money as admin and pay users later.
-> You can get money through the site and money goes to admin account.
—> Basically as the admin you can ask for a deposit and a service fee (these can be the same value if you wish to take as a deposit just your service fee) in % or fixed value, and this value is deducted from the total booking.

To do automatic payments to owner is not a theme default option. We built an add-on in partnership with Rentals Club for PayPal payments, but The Rentals Club addon for adaptive payments through PayPal was restricted from PayPal end to new clients. So only old clients can use that service from PayPal, through Rentals Club add-on that Rentals support for free – https://www.rentalsclub.org/how-payments-management-extension-works/
2- Your theme competible with any membership extension? Paid membership pro, s2member or other?
—> We have our membership built in. No other 3rd party plugin would work. Demo of membership is on main.wprentals.org https://help.wprentals.org/article/membership-submission/
3- I want to write some information specific to the user who add rooms. Like about me section but I don’t want users to change it. Is there such an area?
—> We don’t have this kind of field. There is a private field for owner, but it’s editable from both admin and user profile end.
Thank you
Good day, I need to know if instead of charging the person doing the booking if I can charge the landlord a sliding scale fee of 5% to 10%? To be very clear; I don’t want the individual booking the room to be charged a fee, I want to charge the landlord the fee. Can I do this with your platform? If yes, fantastic. If no, can you make that a feature? Thank you very much!
Hello Enfusia
Thank you for the comment.
First – the fee you can set for booking is by booking and is taken from total booking (not added) so it’s deducted from owner earnings.
We only have a global fee you can set in % for each booking.
Thank you
Thank you, I’m pretty sure I understand that. Thank you.
Thank you too!
