You can only rate items to a maximum of 10, it is not possible to rate them out of a 100 unfortunately.
Seems like schema used by this theme for review does not comply for google anymore. All of my reviews got an item does not support reviews error. Any other way to disable schema produced by this theme as I am using another plugin for better schema creation?

1) As in have different hub fields for different categories? Well if you create all the hub fields you want from the theme options page and then only add values to specific hub fields on a given page these will only be shown for that hub. So different hub pages can display different hub fields.
2) You will need to use a multi lingual plugin such as WPML for this.

The Activity page is generated by BuddyPress and will work when switching from Gauge to Buddy.

Hi GP, i got version 6.34.2. (version gauge theme). I’m using the Child theme (activated) since i have some modifield files. Now i’m always did a manual update with the new/changed/removed files like in the changelog mentioned but i see from version 6.37, no changed files are included in the changelog. How do i know then which files are changed to remove/add/change etc?

You should use a code comparison program to compare your modified files with the new version of those files to is any changes have been made e.g. https://www.diffchecker.com/
Isnt it easier just to know which files you have modified/replaced etc? i dont know even which files i modified at all . I just can’t load up every file?
If you’re using a child theme you should have only added the files you have modified to that child theme. Did you upload all the parent theme files to your child theme?

The child theme is located in wp-content/themes/ like any other theme. You can also access the child theme files from Appearance > Theme Editor.

I know i changed a file auto hub pages but other then that , no idea really if i changed php files, is there a way i can check that? in diffchecker its file per file?
The only files in your child theme should be the files you have added, with the exception of style.css and functions.php. If you have made customisations to the theme it is your responsibility to keep track of your changes.

1a. If they wanted to better their speed, would the theme easily break using async, deferment, if not AMP?

3. Taking note the theme has Ajax filtering, for posts can we create smart list based on headers?
4. For the “Latest Videos” feature, is that just a sorting of posts which have a video in their featured image section?
5. Are there any major plugins this conflicts with like Jetpack, among others?
6. Is there a way to import User average information by excel or manually?
7. Is there a way, for reviews, to add a third option beyond Good and Bad?
8. In terms of SEO optimization, for schema, how are things setup?
9. Is there a way to have side bars on both sides?
10. With the features noting “Advertisement Areas,” is it safe to say an ad manager is included? If so, does it conflict if we use a third party or even a 3rd party and the theme?
11. Is there an option to go beyond the 10 point system? If not have things shown #/10?
12. When it comes to the drop down and tabs on pages, is that handled by Tag ID, check boxes, or an alternative method?
13. For a lot of the “Buy Now” and similar features, does that require Woo-Commerce or if you put in an affiliate link it would work just the same?
14. Can we change, based on the number, what word might be used? Like, in the demo, a 3 for Dark Souls II is noted as bad, another example has amazing, and the last has good.
Also, I forgot to ask how many images are usually created when you upload one with this theme, by default?

1) This is not something I can answer. This is going to depend on your internet speed, browser, server specifications and a number of other factors.
1a) The theme should not break with any of these methods.
2) Support is open from Monday to Friday and you can expect a response within 24 hours, but the average response time is 4 hours. I usually answer questions in the morning (GMT).
3) I don’t understand the question. Do you have an example?
4) Yes essentially. It displays posts from the designated video category.
5) With Jetpack as a whole it should be fine, but I would recommend disabling their Lazyload add-on.
6) There may be, but the theme does not have this functionality built in.
7) There is no option for this. You would need to modify the theme to do this.
The theme uses rich snippets to display ratings in Google search results.
9) Yes.
10) There is no ad manager included. This is just an advertisement image inserted into a text widget, which can also be done with real ads.

12) I’m not sure what drop downs you are referring to? Hub tabs are displayed if the parent hub page has child pages.

With keeping in mind the price is used to deter new users, I would assume that means Aardvark is the focus right? Is there anyway to duplicate the look with that theme?

Yes that’s correct. Aardvark is very versatile and you can achieve a similar look to Gauge. Plus it comes with the Ultimate Reviewer plugin which adds all the review functionality seen in Gauge (ratings, good bad points, summaries) and more. The only thing it doesn’t include is hub tabs e.g. News/Images/Videos.

This theme should be fully compatible with The Review theme, however I would not recommend doing this on a live/product server. You should transfer a copy to your site to a test server to test this out first. Id you’re not able to do that, at the very least create a backup of your site so you can revert back to it if any issues are caused.

The theme already has a follow feature. Followed items show up on their following page and also show the last X number of updates relating to that followed item. There is no feature to make this public.
Any plan to make this public? Can you do this for me if I buy a license, the “continuing development”?
There are no plans to include this in the theme currently. I can do this as a customisation. This will obviously cost extra which will be charged at an hourly rate.

I see that the theme blog has posts showing a review in header (https://gauge.ghostpool.com/post-formats/uniquely-deploy-market-positioning/) and other posts not showing a review in header (https://gauge.ghostpool.com/post-formats/proactively-redefine-flexible/). Is this determined by me when publish the post? Or is it automatic?

1) You can associate posts with hubs. These posts will use the hub header – there is an option to disable this so they use the title and have no header. Posts not associated with hubs will always use their own title and have no header.

3) This is not a feature the theme has, you’ll need to find a plugin that offers this feature.

The theme does not have infinite loop features.
Summarize it where? In categories? You should see this text already has Read more links. 
The “Read more” button I mean would be the tag placed to show only the beginning of the post text. And if the user wants to see all the text, just click the “Read more” button/link and all the text appears.

The theme does not specifically have this feature, but there’s a variety of ways to do this including using a plugin or the WPBakery Page Builder Toggle element.
Since you mentioned about WPBakery Page Builder, I was also wondering if the GhostPool theme is compatible with the Elementor page builder?
Elementor is widely used today and is much better than WPBakery. So if the theme doesn’t match the theme, then I think you should adapt Elementor instead of WPBakery. I leave the suggestion.
And finally, I would like to know if I have any Demo access to analyze live the whole theme in the administrative part so I know all its features?
I have not tested Elementor with this theme, so I can’t guarantee it will work but I don’t see why not. However it will have none of the custom theme elements that were created for WPBakery Page Builder.
Yes I’ve been working with Elementor in some of my newer projects and love it. However it would be a huge undertaking to create all the custom WPB elements for Elementor also, so this is unlikely to be added to this theme.
There is no backend access unfortunately.
What are these custom elements? Where can I see them all?
And as for Elementor, I understand it’s a lot of work, but I suggest that you consider in the near future, because besides being much better, the number of people using this plugin is growing a lot, and that would favor the sale of your theme.

To create a parent page (hub) and its child pages, is the WPBakery editor used? If so, then I am always required to use this editor on my site, because if I disable it, the entire layout of the pages (parent and child) will break. It is?
The review text is placed on a child page and not a post, correct?
And I would like to know if I can associate a hub with another hub? I ask this because I would like to do the following … create software reviews, and each software is compatible with one or more operating systems (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, Windows Phone). So, for example, if the user wants an image editor software for Mac, he searches the site search bar and so will come all the image editor software, but he has to enter each image editor to know which of the software are for Mac. So I wish I could categorize the software for their compatible operating systems, so the user who wants a Mac software, then he goes to the Mac section, and searches the search bar and the result will only be Mac software. 1) WPB is not required for creating hubs, child pages, the tabs etc. But if you want to inserts the latest news, images and videos on the hub page as shown in the demo this will require WPB.
2) Yes reviews are pages, not posts.
3) You cannot associate hubs with other hubs. You would need to group hubs based on hub category just like you can do with posts and post categories. Hubs can be assigned to multiple hub categories.

Another question … I can create 2 types of page hub: “Standard Hub Page” and “Hub Review Page” If I create a standard hub page, then can I change to hub review page?
1) The theme will work with Elementor, but the hub page uses custom elements created for WPB only. So you won’t be able to display the latest news, videos, image associated with the current hub you’re viewing. The child pages News, Videos, Images will still work without a page builder.
3) Yes hub categories work in exactly the same way as post categories.
4) Yes you can change between the two.
Two more questions … In Wordpress, the author has permission to create posts. But I needed to know if my authors can create page hubs.
What about posts, can I link them to a particular Hub or page (Review, News, Videos and Photos)? For example, I create a post and link the News page; and since this News page is linked to a given Hub, so when I access the post, that hub would appear in the post header
1) Not by default. You’ll need to use a capability manager plugin to give users permission to create pages (and therefore hub pages).
2) You can associate posts with a particular hub. A post will use the header of the associated hub by default.

I saw that the Gauge theme has responsive version. But I would also like to know if the theme has a simpler mobile version? I ask why the responsive version loads all elements of the desktop version, and that makes the mobile page heavier. So a simpler mobile version of the theme would be an option for site pages to load faster on mobile.
And I wonder if the theme has AMP version?
Another question … in the header of the hubs, a background image is inserted. If I do not want to insert this background image, is it possible? If so, then the place of this image is it possible to insert a color?

The theme is fully responsive meaning the layout adjusts to mobile devices. It’s not a separate version for mobiles. Small images are loading on mobiles would should improve page load time.
There is no AMP version.
What you can do is upload a 1px colour background image to use in the header.
On my site I write software/application reviews, and besides reviews I would like to insert a Download/Access button. Can I do this with your theme? On the reviews page, I see that there is a “Buy Now” button. This button is to give the possibility to sell the game/software? Can I change this button for the user to download the software or access the software website? And if it is possible, then I could insert in the same button several links where the user can click somewhere in the button and choose if he wants to download the software for Windows, Mac, Android, iOS …?
And is it possible to translate the theme to the Portuguese language Brazil?

1) You can change the button text and link to whatever you want. So if you link to a file download then you can certainly do this.
2) You can only add one button in this location. You’ll need to add other buttons within the page content area itself using the WPBakery Page Builder that comes with the theme.
3) The theme comes with translation files, so you can translate the theme from English to Portuguese using a Loco Translate plugin or PoEdit for example.
