Hi there. Something has been picked up that others may want to know about. When you use Google Recaptcha code, you assume it will only be used on the pages where once uses a contact form.
However, because this theme has a Modal popup for Contact Form – even when this is TURNED OFF, the code still resides in the page, doesn’t display, but causes the Captcha code to be generated on ALL pages.
Please can you look to wholly removing this, when the Option for Header Elements a) has no contact form selected and b) when Header Elements is turned off. Thanks.

Hi there. Firstly, Livestonewere1: unless you get the support, the answer is that you set the blog page to be 3 wide, and then Grid or Masonry. Or you can use Small Media and in row.
Feedback request: It would be really nice if the top Bar colour could be changed, if the ‘Light Header’ is used. The reason we ask, is because when you do that you sometimes need to change the logo you are using, and it can conflict with the top bar colour. It would be nice therefore if the ‘Light Header’ that you can tweak, could include the means t change the top bar if enable. Thanks.
How do we display Recent posts with thumbnails? Seems Blade doesn’t have this simple feature. How please?

I got it to work but it only uses the site title and tagline. My site title and tagline is the title of the business and slogan. I just wanted it to say Blog. Anyway to do that? I tried to apply it to the page itself but that also does not work. This is still better though.

Hello there, we are using the plugin WPML for some languages. But since we activated the Plug in, we couldn’t change the Page header in anyway. We tried many times to change the header picture, texts or buttons, but after “saving” the page, the Header is still remaining the same and there was no change in the backend. What could be the problem? Is Blade Theme compatible with WPML actually?

Hi. We are trying to update our Portfolio page. The Filters are slightly flawed, as if you have more than one page of ‘projects’, and you select the filter, it only filters what’s on the page, not each page. So if you have 8 pages in all, and you filter, you still have 8 pages.
My solution is to setup a Sidebar menu, with a Menu that links to the slugs of the categories, but I cannot make those work, ie. /portfolio/logos, or /projects/logos.
My support has long run out, but I do need to know, if poss, how to make it work. Is there a setting somewhere, or is it to do with Permalinks and I need to make my first Parent page different? Which is Projects.

It has nothing to do with your expired support but this is something that it works just like that. Filter has the classic pagination and it filters what’s on page. This cannot be changed and I think that we have already discussed it in one of your tickets.

hiya. Yes perhaps we did. It’s just that it makes the Filter (sorry for saying)... flawed. As you are then not filtering the content – just that single page. If you then hit page 2, you get ALL the Portfolio items, not just those filtered.
So how do we setup a URL so I can have a sidebar custom menu, and link to those Slugs (which appear in the Portfolio Categories)?

Ok thanks. So the user selects one of the filters which changes what is displayed and when they click page ‘2’, it disables the filter to show all? Ok. Not sure this is what would be ‘expected’.
Back to my other question which hasn’t yet been attended to – what about the Slugs? So we can give people a URL of one of the categories of Portfolios? I’ve seen a few websites thru this comments list that do it, but I cannot see how it works. Any help would be useful.

Hi there. Can we submit a suggestion for the theme please. When you add a background image to a row, you can select an Overlay colour, and the percentage of opacity. Works nice.
Pity you cannot do the same in each column. You might want to have a row of two columns. No Row BG set.
But you want to add a background to each colour, and an overlay. The only way to do this at the moment is with an image that you Photoshop to have darken (or whatever). Be good if the columns could do what the rows do!

To be honest, I think that it is almost impossible to change this one since you can add background image in columns under Design Options. I know that you cannot have an overlay color but the image option is still there which means that many users already use it.

Sure – just pointing out that you can do it with rows, and doing it in columns is such a drag when you need to adjust the opacity. Easy in Rows – but a ‘Photoshop task’ in columns. Just a feedback suggestion really, as when you want to do it, it’s always a pain, and we decide to do it another way.

Hi there. Since the them update, it has caused issues with Equal Column Heights and Middle Content. When the page loads, there are big gaps – if you then adjust the width of the browser, it ‘pops’ into place. Can you please let us know a fix for this.
It seems the issue was caused by two Lazyloading and CDN tools running at the same time, causing the conflict. I had wondered why no one else reported it. Problem solved.

What’s the easiest way add a Google Font, via embedding the code in CSS and using it within a Class? We did try it, but it doesn’t seem to pick it up. We cannot do it via function, as all the ‘custom fonts’ in theme are used up. Thanks.
