Ok, I have done what I said above and I think I solved most issues that I had. One major issue / stumbling block I have encountered, which I need help with please is the child theme CSS. I simply have no idea how it is structured anymore. I would prefer to manage custom css through the child theme, but the only way I can get it to work is through the salient theme panel. So I have currently deleted all child theme css files and only done custom css through the salient options panel. But… How do I go back to using it through a child theme? What am I doing wrong here?

Hey metropoleonline, There is no option to do that in Salient by default. However, you could halfway achieve it by using the “No header” page template and then making use of the page submenu element below your slider on the page:  http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-promo/page-submenu/

Hey liquidforce, I have replicated the issue on my end only when using the “Fullscreen Rows” option. It’s occurring due to the animation trigger points being bound in a different manner when using that page option. On other pages, it should work if you run a test. I’ve noted to investigate possible solutions, however for now when using the Fullscreen Rows, you would have to use only non-animated elements in the modal

Hey mdmonthly, that issue is occurring due to the third party lazy loading from wp smushit, which is affecting the two images in the “Our providers” section. This can be corrected by disabling the lazy loading option, or by simply updating Salient to the current release. By default the salient image gallery option titled “Display Title/Caption” will add your image title on the image within the grid itself, and then add the Description field in the lightbox at the bottom

Those strings are contained in the theme .pot file, which is located at salient/langauges/nectar_salient_strings.pot. You can use that to generate a .po file in your desired language.
