Beautiful work @WPEstate and I’m definitely going to be your customer before 2020. Therefore I have 2 pre-sales questions for your clarification please:
(1) Has the upgrade to Bootstrap 4 happened already or is this yet to happen (and approximately when will this take place if it hasn’t already)?
(2) Clustering is something done on all non-WP applications I work with and it may seem overkill for WP, hence – has WPRentals been stress-tested and what is the ‘n’ number of records before a noticeable lag occurs? (I need to know whether or not to get this on Jelastic).

Hi, I didn’t test this plugin, but if it’s for wp-admin should work as it’s wordpress standard. We tested 80000 with spiderfy on Residence theme (but it’s the same code in Rentals too). How can I add a revolution slider as the main header/slider for the homepage? At the moment it only allows properties to be shown in the slider, I can’t get anything else to display there

Hello, I would like to ask you 2 questions before buying the theme. 1) Is it possible through the payment gateway (wocommerce) to charge the customer only 30% of the total? I have seen that you can order a fixed amount and not a %.
2) Do you have Spanish translations? Spanish_mo & spanish_po. I see that you can translate with loco translate but there are many chains.

1. The theme itself allows to put deposit as 30% deposit (% or fixed amount) Woo is just to process the payment. So it’s possible.

I have some queries:
1. Through your theme you are offering the option for Early Bird Discount in terms of percentage discount(%) from the price per night. You are also offering the ability to set special price per night for 7n+ or 30n+. But we need to be able to offer our customers the below:
• 2 nights stay we offer a 10% discount • 3 nights stay we offer a 15% discount • 4 to 7 nights stay we offer a 20% discount • 8 nights stay we offer a 25% discount
2. In the registration form popuo user currently needs to add only username and email. We also need Full Name and Telephone fields there as well. Those 2 extra details need to be included in the email the administrator receives.
3. When a booking is done, in the administrator’s email we need to include the dates of the booking and if possible the property/listing name as well.

1. I have thought long for the best solution to recommend, and I am still not sure what that would be. However, I let you choose between the options I can suggest.
a. Custom development
This is complex change because our booking is complex itself (many options, especially with custom price, deposit, instant, woo commerce etc). You would need to consult with a developer for a quote. 2. Please test this. Use Instant + woo Commerce and a plugin to modify woo commerce checkout https://help.wprentals.org/article/install-woocommerce-and-use-woocommerce-payments/ We allow user to register when he checks out in this combination, and so he will provide the details you need. First name and Last Name will go to his profile. The phone will stay in his order (but you can find it). Admin gets notifications about woo orders too.

SEO is optimized to its best possible options in Rentals too, same as in Residence – and you can use any extra plugin to improve that. The State is an input field of a property in Rentals because it’s a different kind of search and submit system and there is a correlation between these 2 features.

You can use categories or types or custom dropdown fields to attach a property to a specific resort, complex or community (a list can be created by you). And this kind of field can be added to search.
—> A presentation can be made, but you need to consider this would be a page you create from admin -> pages. We don’t have anything specific for this
—> And to list properties, you can use list by ID to select a list of properties that you want.

Thanks for your attention and information. 1) As I said, I had another similar theme, what I did was make the State as the Location (city,country,state,neighborhood, whatever) and the City (the lowest level of location) be the Complex/Resort. This way I was able to use the system and set photos and other things. Do you have these location levels?

We allow admin to enable mixed booking (daily or hourly) and each owner can select what kind of booking for each property when the listing is added. This is exemplified in office demo – https://office.wprentals.org/ You can login with our demo account (user – 1234) or create your account and test.
The option is managed from Price Settings.
Please keep in mind that the listings categories, features and fields and search are common.

A coupon is not built in. However there is one workaround you can use as explained below.
WooCommerce allows to use coupons on checkout. WooCommerce will process the payment with the coupon value applied. https://help.wprentals.org/article/install-woocommerce-and-use-woocommerce-payments/
What you have to consider is that WooCommerce but the coupon will not be reflected in theme invoice since the theme has its own built-in booking system.

Please explain, how the listings in half-map view are sorted.
We found this in libs/search_functions3.php:
‘meta_key’ => ‘prop_featured’, ‘orderby’ => ‘meta_value’,
As we can see, featured listings are at the top, but what’s about the other listings or when we have no featured listings? What are they sorted by?

So do I understood you correctly, that without WCFM marketplace the theme works- it is possible to create marketplace (WP Rentals is a WordPress booking platform that allows users to list & book accommodations).
Hi paatmaria, Yes, our theme is coded by us for booking (no connection to WooCommerce addons) It allows people to register, add listings to rents, users send booking requests, pay for deposits etc The theme presents (in demos and on presentation page) everything the theme does.
WooCommerce is used exclusively only to process payments through WooCommerce merchants. That is all. Our demo here https://demo1.wprentals.org/ shows you theme booking options. But on checkout you can pay with wooCommerce (and its merchants).

After trying wpml and finding that it slows the site down, we have decide to remove wpml however if I deactivate the plugins I get a fatal error. I cannot seem to solve this

Hi, I don’t understand the connection and I don’t know what WPML could have connected to this file.
Did you reset and remove the plugin? Or just disable? It’s possible they left translations or something that once the plugin is disabled, it returns errors.
Maybe try this https://wpml.org/faq/how-wpml-reset-works/ before you remove the plugin.

Yes that’s what I did and it still remains. I am testing it locally first before doing it live.
What I found is the following we have 2 languages, English and Dutch and I get the error on some properties not all. After deleting the plugin the site should be in English however the listings that give the error are in Dutch So I think that we made a mistake in the translation. I am going to see if that is it and will let you know.

I think it’s related to this
“The reset action does not delete translated images, translated posts, and translated taxonomies.”
Try to delete the translations before removing wpml. I couldn’t find an automatic way to do that in WPML help.
