Extremely disappointedn to find that the theme is a disaster for search engine rankings. It uses the “H3” tag for page/post titles and not H1, like other 99.99% of wordpress themes do. I bought it, and now I can’t use it since this theme will be huge roadblock when it comes to ranking.

To change page title (from title area) globally, navigate to BackpackTraveler Options > Title and you can easily set up H1 for page title – https://prnt.sc/r1qik1.
An important note is that title area options also exist on pages and blog posts under Mikado Title https://prnt.sc/r1qn87.
You can also enable post title to display in the blog title area and set H1 there – https://prnt.sc/r1qksx.

Are you serious? Do you even know what you are talking about? You are showing me how to stylize the Heading tag.
Or are you simply trying to mislead other users?
The problem with the theme is that the page and post titles are in H3 tag which is very very bad for SEO. And there is no option in the theme to fix it.
This is a very poorly coded theme and will kill your chances of ranking on search engines.

When it comes to SEO in WordPress themes, there’re no strict rules that must be followed, but there’re some good practices we try to implement. According to Yoast SEO, WPExplorer and other industry influencers, the most important thing here is your content and if the content is poor, there’s no WP theme that can fix that.
If H3 tag in single post title bothers you so much that you can’t work around this, you can simply edit template file in charge on this location:
backpacktraveler\framework\modules\blog\templates\singles\centered\post.php

And yes, it bothers me that the theme is so poorly coded. it also bothers me that if this is so simple that it can be fixed, why don’t you do it?
The fact that you are recommending ME to edit the template file, clearly shows how poor a developer you are yourself. No one recommends editing the theme files directly as the changed will be wiped out in the next update.
I have had enough of your nonsense. Can I get a refund for this extrememly poorly coded theme?

Another example of this theme having bad coding: The logo doesn’t work either. Several other people have complained about this before, but it still doesn’t work. Changing the logo in backend, does not reflect on frontend!

If it appears that the global settings are not being applied in your frontend, this is most likely caused by that page’s local settings which override the global options you set.
So please check if the logo was set locally on the page.
To do that, open the page for editing and navigate to Mikado Logo section https://prnt.sc/r40is5. If you remove logos that are set locally, the default logo from BackpackTraveler Options > General will appear.

Our demos might appear slow, but this is only because we are showcasing lots of images with the highest quality. As such these images are not optimized and are making the load times higher. Also, our demo pages try to showcase all options at once, so you can see all the possibilities the theme could offer.

I bought your theme : Backpack Traveler. And I started using it. The problem is that I register with my purchase code to activate the theme and had lot of trouble with this vps and couldn’t do anything after activate the theme so I decided to reinstall the vpn because I couldn’t get access of the wordpress admin panel. The fact is that after a fresh setup I can’t register again with my purchase code because it say that « Code is already registered for other domain ».
What can I do ? You can find the pdf of my license in attachment.
