Hello, before buying the theme i would like to know:
1. We would like to charge from the guests a fix amount (100€ as deposit) upon reservation and the balance upon arrival. Deposit has to be paid via bank transfer. Is it possible? we dont accept any other form of payment.
2. Is it possible to add at checkout – additional option – This is not a reservation but a simple request. We had before Zante hotel theme and this option was great? Even better if It can be placed as a small box above payment option. Like this guests can contact us before fixed booking if they need more information for the selected room (allergie problems etc..). Off course, in this case selected dates are not marked as fixed booked.
3. In calendar, booked dates are marked with „x“, but it creates confusion. For example if from 4.02-06.02 is booked, date 04.02 is marked as „x“, and guests see it as booked but in reality it isn’t and it is possible to book from 01.02 – 04.02. When I click on calendar on 01.02 than the „x“ from 04.02 vanish. Is it possible instead of „x“ – to show „/“ on arrival and departure day – as this two days are “half booked”. 1.) Yes you can accept the deposit as a bank transfer, but it’s not possible to charge a flat rate, it must be a percentage of the total price
2.) Yes you can add custom fields at the check out, but you would need to place the booking to submit them. An alternative would be to simply add a regular email contact form in the website footer
3.) Yes you don’t need to worry about this, if a guest books 04/02/2020 – 06/02/2020, then only 04/02/2020 – 05/02/2020 is displayed as unavailable, since they check out on 06/02/2020 this is available for other guests to book and check in
4.) Not for the “Testimonial” elements provided with Soho Hotel, this is intended as a showcase for your best customer reviews which you’ve selected. If you want to automatically pull reviews from Facebook, TripAdvisor and so on there are many free plugins which can do this

Hi, I have updated Soho Theme to v3.2.2 and now I’m having some problems to update WPBakery Page Builder from Version 6.0.5 to 6.1. It sais: “An error occurred while updating WPBakery Page Builder: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?”
I hadn’t any problem to update the plugin until now.Also sais I should activate it. I thought it would be activated for ever with the theme.

Since your copy of WP Bakery Page Builder is packaged with Soho Hotel, the way you receive updates for it is through Soho Hotel (e.g. you have to update the theme to get the latest version). You don’t need to enter a license code to use the full version of the plugin included.

When trying to add a new season the dates are not stored correctly. Instead of showing for example 14/4/2020, they show 14/20202/2020. This is stored on the database as well. I am using the latest version.

Try:
1.) Going to “Hotel Booking > Settings > General” and re-save the “Date Format” option
2.) Clear any cache plugins, and also browser cache
3.) If you’re running a translation plugin, delete a translations of the “Date Format” option

Soho Hotel supports iCal syncing which is the standard way to share booking data (booking.com, Airbnb, etc all use this method).
So if “OPERA Reservation System” supports iCal, then yes it can be integrated with Soho Hotel.

If their system supports iCal, we can connect iCal to them and all the bookings will be visible to their system. But if their system doesn’t support iCal, we’ll have to build mid-software between iCal and their API?
If their system doesn’t support iCal then the only way to integrate with Soho Hotel will be with a lot of PHP coding which you will need to do yourself.

You mean on the accommodation listing page? Not using this layout, but if you need a slider for each room on the listing page you could just create your own layout using the drag and drop page builder which would be simple.

The demo version is running. However, the main page is not working due to an error in the booking form. Delete the bookingform from the builder to work properly.

Hi, Is it possible to set a restriction like this: if somebody wants to book only a Friday, to automatically have to have a min stay of 2 nights? I mean, I want users who book an apartment for any given Friday to book also Saturday… If somebody books other days, like Thursday and Friday, I want the rule I mentioned before to not apply…
