You have to be sure properties are added in submit form and city is selected from Google Places in submit as well (that ensures search by google returns the correct results). Help https://help.wprentals.org/article/location-options-in-submit-listing-form/

Also, you seem to have a multilanguage. Be sure the city, area, country are set to NOT translate because google can only look for the variable it sets in submit.

For further assistance we can check 1 property as owner to confirm how it was added and if we can offer more advise. But location search works if the above are done right for sure.

Thank you for the comment and for buying the theme.

Ical feed sync is included. Ical syncs availability calendar only.

Properties must be added separately in WpRentals and they cannot be exported as properties.

The ical feed will allow you to export bookings made on wprentals to other platforms that support ical to sync calendar availability between platforms.

And the option to import ical will allow you to import calendars from other platforms that will sync the availability calendar with out site.

Since the client already has a solution – it may be possible to do what you need with the solution available (since it’s a one owner situation)

To answer the question

1. The calendar availability for each property allows to book one period at a time. So you cannot have multiple people pay for the same period.

2. Deposit can be asked for booking to be confirmed. Remaining payment is optioanl and it’s not forced. There is a reminder sent 3 days booking starts automatically but it’s not mandatory to pay remaining payment.

3. Yes, remaining payment shows initial total and the deposit/reservation fee paid, as well as remaining balance.

4. The theme marks the payment complete when payment is done through the theme.

I am not 100% sure on what work is needed for a complete transfer, but I think most property details will automatically stay the same when switching themes. I can help test this on a test domain where you have your current theme and residence

When I search property on second language (property is added and translated), nothing is showing.

It’s too little to understand what you’re searching.

1. Google Places cities, areas cannot be translated in WPML if you plan to use Google Places (those come from google and must be unique). So you need to disable translate for the search elements that come from google in this case.

2. If you don’t use google places, check the translation is correct (title – matches slug).

Check you have the option to register strings so that new strings can show in string translation and access a property page for WPML to register the new strings (they do that automatically anymore for speed reasons from what I read)

If you still cannot see the labels, we can try to compare with the help but you can also ask WPML (they also have chat support). As WPML client and as official testers of WPML + WPRentals you get full support from WPML for any question related to WPML as well

Hi, The calendar availability is for each listing (so each ski boot must be listed one by one). 1. Messages are part of the conversations between user/owner when sending a request, accepting one or sending a private message through “contact owner” form. It’s an important part of the theme. I don’t recommend to remove this part unless you don’t want any message to be sent between each user, No one asked for this before, so there is no on/off option. To remove all inbox means to remove in code and because there are many features connected to inbox. If you want such a change, I need to check with development team in support to advise the existing theme files, see if you can remove elements easily from specific places only (like inbox perhaps) based on where you don’t want to show contact.

But please let me know why it’s not GDPR ready – because we have full control to user/owner to:

- delete their messages - delete their profile - no private information is sent to email - gdpr consent when sending a message to owner (which also saves in inbox) And only user/owner can see each other private messages.

If something is missing please let me know what to add to our to-do list.

2. The theme is built for front end management – either as single owner (that single owner can be administrator) or as multiple owners. Only in front end you can use custom price, custom calendar, ical, confirm bookings, reject bookings etc. Thay’s why you must use front end to manage your properties, and wp-admin only when you want to check the content submitted in description/images if you want to do a manual approval of submissions.

3. I cannot answer without seeing this live to understand what you mean by “long” and check the browser console to see if there is any error. Please use our client support to send us the details.

From the description I assume it’s related to a new standard + translation of the calendar, but I would need details from your site to check with development team. So please add a ticket to see how you get the message and the settings you have http://support.wpestate.org/

2. The message says the booking is invalid. But it’s all I can tell from here.

Make sure you add your bookings in front end and not wp-admin (manual bookings, confirm bookings, reject bookings – must be done in front user dashboard).

For further information I must see where the message shows to track the booking from where the message from your comment returns. So please open a ticket in client support with the details to track.
