why the settings is not clear after i remove/uninstall it? i install again the theme and it go directly back to the previous settings. how to make it like new again?

Hi, unfortunately I still don’t get how categories and subcategories can be displayed. My pre-sale question: If I have a category New York City and subcategories “exhibitions”, “theatre”, “festival” can I display in one box/block/module only festivals in New York City? Thanks and best regards

Hi TieLabs, speaking in more technical/logical words: What we need is an AND function. Displaying posts that fulfill criteria 1 AND criteria 2 AND criteria 3. These could be categories, subcategories, tags, custom criteria fields or whatever, from our (user-)side we can deal with everything. Displaying posts that match criteria 1 OR criteria 2 … that does not work for our case where we need to display posts that match a certain event category in a certain geographic region. See my NYC example above. How could we pre-test these functions as these are the musts for our project? Kind regards

There is no option like that in the theme, You can set a block to display posts by Categories OR Tags if you chose multiple categories for a block such as category A and category B, All posts in both categories will be dispayed not the posts avilable A and B only.

There was an error importing the example.
When the support period was effective, when I sent out I did not receive an answer, I had to make the template with a personal diligence.
Now I’m back, maybe the problem was solved after the updates but it’s still there.

We have checked our support center, you sent 2 tickets between June and October, both tickets were related to the JetPack plugin and both got a reply within 48 hours.
Amoung 7900 customers bought the theme we didn’t get any complaints regarding the demo import, so it is an individual issue, not a theme bug it might be caused by server configuration or conflict with another plugin.
It needs to be investigated on your website and that requires additional information from you, some of which may be private. so please create a support ticket using the link below and include your site URL with wp-admin access so our developer could investigate.

Hi Jannah theme developers, one of my last updates theme has changed all the dates of my posts. So, in the dashboard the date published it is ok but when you go to the website all dates are wrong. I did a test, I changed my theme for another theme and tara magic the dates were correct again on my web. So it is Jannah News theme 100% sure

1. There is an option in the theme options page to exclude certain post types from the search, check this article https://jannah.helpscoutdocs.com/article/70-archives-settings
3. This is not related to the theme itself, you need to change the styles of the third-party systems manually to match the theme styles. nothing we can do/help regarding this.

Hi, is there an official extension for the jannah theme (also for a fee) to add the possibility to save posts in pdf? being a theme for news and magazines, the ability to save articles in pdf or in your personal area would be a very useful feature

I tried many plugins (even for a fee) but none of them fits perfectly with the theme, or they work badly.
Your theme is perfect, an extension in this sense (even for a fee) would be very useful and would adapt perfectly because developed by the author’s theme. For example in the same administration panel of jannah theme could report statistics on downloads or other very useful functions, a plugin like this with these functions unfortunately does not exist, or perhaps i have not found it, could you suggest me one?

Hi I want to use this theme to make a newspaper website. just want to know few things before i purchase.
1- Can we allow users to register and work as contributors toward news? 2- If yes for above, do the admin have option to approve news before it is published? 3- Regarding the advertisement banners on your demo, is this advertisement managed by the website admin or users have access to the dashboard to manage ads? 4- Does this have proper advertisements management system?

1. WordPress itself provides different roles for the users, read more about it here https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ so you can give users access to the site dashboard to add articles.
2. Advertisements can be managed by the site admin only via the theme options page.
3. It is very simple predefined Ad spaces only, read more about it here https://jannah.helpscoutdocs.com/article/75-advertisement-settings but if you need an Advanced Ad system, you can use the AdRotate plugin, https://jannah.helpscoutdocs.com/article/157-integrations-with-adrotate
