Hi,
I submitted a help ticket and would like for your to review and give me your input. We are having issues with the Toggle Panels resulting in 404 page errors when Previewing Changes or trying to save changes to the page. Initially I was told by support that it appeared to be a PHP issue, so we updated to 7.3 and are still having the issues.

You could use the single testimonial element and set the columns to be animated which contains each testimonial. This would provide you the same look of testimonials being loading in as the user scrolls down the page.
New version of Salient and specifically the “Salient WPBakery Page Builder” is preventing Yoast Premium from working. By enabling the WPBakery Page builder yoast premium loses features such as “Add Related Keyphrases”
This was not an issue with previous versions I don’t think
Just to elaborate.
If the “Salient WPBakery Page Builder” then “Add Related Key-phrases” field disappears on page, post and product edit pages. Disabling the plugin brings the field back.

2. You can add this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab to make the browser render that easier:

Hey Dharmesh, All demos created within the past 2 Years come with a full set of images, whereas the legacy demos only use placeholders. The demos are listed in chronological order, so everything upwards of the demo “Restuarant” will import the sample images.

Just wanted to say that Salient has been my all time favorite theme for 2+ years now. But i’m having to work on a client’s site that is using the divi builder I have to say I’m extremely impressed by the mobile and tablet customization options right in the builder, here’s screen https://prnt.sc/r0g2jb -
With salient to get rows looking good for desktop, tablet & mobile, I’d have to duplicate the row to 3 separate sections, then tick the settings for each row to either show or not show on certain sizes. This is easy enough (but not easiest) for me. But my clients who edit their website – it’s waaaay to complicated. Teaching them what rows that are greyed out means, having to show them custom css tags to make sure certain rows don’t show on mobile/tablet/desktop etc. And it has me wondering, maybe the front end builder for salient has these quick options for Per Size View and maybe I hadn’t noticed them? If not, I hope that you might consider implementing this feature like Divi has – Afterall it’s probably just adding @media classes so it doesn’t sound that difficult. Anywho, excited for the next release. I always loooove to see new demos!

Hey toolbox101, that was achieved through custom modding to Salient by the user and therefore we can not provide it.
I thought so, it’s a nice menu anyways… I hope you can add more menu styles, blog headers and overall different look and feel to some layout elements rather then adding Salient Studio templates.

Since you’ve modified the fullscreen off canvas menu style, a new javascript event would need to be bound to close the menu when clicking on the site. By default, there is no event for that since it usually covers the entire website view when open.
Ok . Thank you. But when I click the menu, all the links and scroll are desactive. There is any way for this not to happen ? and work like when you click the magnifying glass and the links and the site scroll works.
Hey mirazoqui, it would be possible with custom modding. However by default, since the fullscreen menu is expecting to cover the entire screen, there’s CSS and js in place to have different functionality than the search bar.

Then you can make the modification to the parent theme file. However, it’s easier to simply activate the child theme and make it there so you do not need to keep track of the modification during updates.

Hey Alan, that would not be possible without modifying the output function “nectar_slider_display” in salient-nectar-slider/includes/frontend/shelpers.php. The “loop” attribute would need to be removed from the video element within that function.

Please how do i change the footer to use the h6 as font and not the body fonts. WHen i edit the body under typography it affects the footer which is not what i want. Help

I am having issues with my h2/h3 layout on certain pages. Even though it has a block attribute the h2 heading sticks after the previous text. Even when I put extra spaces, breaks in between the h2 again sticks next to the text.

When inspecting the code on that page, the content appears to be missing HTML markup which normally exists when using the page builder. For example, your mark is following the structure of
wbc_row -> .span_12 -> TEXT, where by default it should be
.wbc_row -> .span_12 -> .wpb_column -> .vc_column-inner > .wpb_wrapper > TEXT.Without seeing the backend of your setup it would hard to say why your markup appears altered, however, once it’s changed to reflect the default page builder structure, the issue should be corrected.

I am not using the page builder for that page, but using some Nectar Shortcodes in order to get full-row and columns.
But how would you suggest I fix this? The issue appears to be on multiple sites and not restricted to one item.
Do you know anything that can cause this and how to resolve this? Caching? Cloudflare? Conflict? Hope you can point me in the right direction.
In addition. It also works on some parts and does not work on others. In that same page you can see correct alignment and incorrect alignment. It is strange to me that adding extra

Column shortcodes are required, such as the [one_half] as you’ve pasted in one of your previous comments. This issue should not occur when using them – it will only occur when you skip the column shortcodes and place text directly inside of the [full_width_section ].
The CSS I provided to fix it without altering your setup can be placed in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab. That CSS box is always present when using Salient, regardless of which plugins you have active

But it is strange this happened all of a sudden. Before it was just fine as it is, worked on all pages. Now it broke several pages at once. I will try adding that .css to my child style.css, that should also work correct?
Hey dzineee, the grid system was upgraded as of Salient 10.5, it’s possible that before then you could get away without using columns in the setup.
Can I also NOT load the style.css in the child-theme?
Currently I have adjustments in the salient custom-css box. Which one would have preference and should I delete one or the other? (for optimal performance).
Hey dzineee, the custom CSS box is only there for convenience for quick snippets. Any significant amount of CSS would be easier to contain in an actual stylesheet – such as the child theme style.css
