Is there an issue with the new Restaurant demo? All demos install perfectly for me including the new taxi demo, but the restaurant one keeps getting stuck while on content and failing. I have tried on two separate hosting at GD and Bluehost. System status is more than enough to meet requirements as well. Is there a bug?

Tried 10 more times on two separate hostings again. All php levels are legit so importing should not be an issue. All other demos install perfectly. The restaurant still stalls at images content. Also, the restaurant demo is not yet in the alternative download page. Please update.

I did create a ticket and was told it was a server issue on your end and was fixed. It hasn’t been fixed as I still can’t download the demo data. I was also told the alternative method which doesn’t even have the restaurant demo data on the page to download. Why do I have to create a ticket to inform you of the above seeing I already did and got no where?

Hello, I bought your theme some days ago and now I see some update of plugins and theme. I updated the theme first. After this, I applyed some patches that appeared. So I tryed to update the plugins (4 plugins to update). 2 of them didn’t update (Convert Plus and LayerSlider WP). The issue that appear is the follow one:

Regarding the plugin’s license, in order to get the premium add ons and updates (before we release them on our server) you will need to have a stand alone license for such plugins, we have this discussed in very details here => https://bit.ly/38kwU6t

Good morning guys, I work with your theme on at least 3 different websites. On one in particular there’s something going on that I can’t control. The Menu layout is completely unbalanced: when you scroll down the menu loses its natural background and scrolls over the rest of the page in an unpleasant way. If I try to put the page layout in “boxed” format, as I would like to do, nothing happens and the layout remains wide. Yet if I preview the website I see it in boxed version, but once I try to display the website on the web, it comes back in wide version again and with the menu problem I explained above. What do you think it may depend on? This is the Website I’m talking about: https://generplus.it No similar problem in the other installations I deal with for companies other than this one.

Avada theme no longer has LayerSlider or RevSlider included in the downloadable zip file. Now unable to install or update these plugins. What is going on???

I believe there is some misunderstanding here as both plugins are still offered with Avada, please go to Avada > Plugins tab and you should be able to install and activate them from there, you can also install them manually by downloading them from our company site as mentioned here => https://bit.ly/3bzPnxX

No, this does not work. The Avada theme files downloaded from ThemeForrest DO NOT come included. They are physically missing from the file structure. So when asking Avada to install plugins Rev Slider and LayerSlider, the files can’t be found and I receive the error.

Do you have a changelog for the most recent update, or maybe a code comparison between the last update and 6.2? I’ve used the avada theme with the “Wordpress Store Locator” plugin for a long time, and after the most recent update, the store locator listings sidebars no longer work. It uses the single.php file.

Silly me for believing that this update would have gone fine.
Just update from 6.1.2 to 6.2, update all the patches and now the Wordpress standard Editor no longer works. Only the Fusion Builder Live works…
Post & Pages Edit, only gives a white screen..
Why can’t we get a single update without having these sorts of problems all the times???
Off course, you don’t want to allow people to downgrade back to previous version (nobody really knows why as you don’t answer the question), and the saga of having to reinstall a previous back up start again…
This is getting boring and tiresome pretty quickly…
I shouldn’t have to ask, because somebody else above has already mentioned this issue, but could look into it…

Avada updates are not meant to break any content and they certainly do not cause any issues with every update we release. We actually do test our updates several times before they are released and as mentioned any update is not at all meant to cause issues with any site. We have to realise that the theme does not have work in an isolated environment. Factors such as plugins, custom code, template overrides, system settings, broken code in header/footer/menu etc can equally cause an issue.

I have a problem with that. Before the 6.2 update, every plugin was working just fine..
Then as you can see from several other members here, once we update, your update breaks other plugin’s functionality.

Your theme is not supposed to break other plugin compatibility with WP if I’m correct… And yet every time you release an update and people report Wordpress not longer working, that’s your first advice. “Check the plugins…”
If the plugin works fine on Vanilla Wordpress and it stops working once using Avada theme, what does it tell you?
I’m tired of having to delete plugins just to be able to use Avada.. I’m loosing functionality and freedom of choice more and more at each update!

I am afraid this not the correct way to gauge if the theme is the issue or not. Any plugin with good WP coding standards will work well with Avada. A plugin working on a vanilla install is not really to guarantee that it is bug free(as even the theme works well in a vanilla install). For obvious reasons, any theme/plugin that has more feature will have more code than than a basic theme/plugin and using a vanilla install to check the plugin is not really the best way to benchmark it. There are more than 50,000 plugins in the wordpress repo and this is the very reason why we ask users to check for plugin issue. It is not possible for us to test each and every plugin. If there are any issues with a popular plugin our dev team certainly advises the user on what can be done. We also have a fusion patcher tool that is added which we use to address any theme issues we have. Wordpress is a dynamic environment. WP core itself changes code, there are PHP upgrades, feature addition etc and so all plugin and theme authors have to keep a check on their code so that they can work in tandem (using wp coding standards)
Not all users would have the same reason for an issue during an update(plugins, custom code, template overrides, outdated PHP version, etc).A very large majority of our users are able to update without any issue
We are also open to feedback from our users. If you are having issues with a plugin, you can add in a ticket and as mentioned our dev team will check it for you.(you do not have to fix it at all if it ever the theme is the issue)

Hello, I just updated Avada to 6.2 and applied the latest 3 patches available for it. All is working well…just having a reformatting issue in Fusion Slider. My text that reads: “Creating hype is hard” used to be perfectly large on mobile. Now it seems to render to a max size for mobile making it significantly smaller than it’s ever been. It’s the exact same on desktop as it previously was…its only mobile that I’m seeing the issue (no matter how large I make the text it will not change)
Put more simply: I just want that text to fill in more of that slide!

Do the developers have any plans to update/improve the Woocommerce styling for product pages and sites that rely on vertical category navigation which use a store as their homepage? Such as how traditional auto parts and electronics online stores look.

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

Hi. I am an older user, with 2 licenses, but the support has expired. One of the licenses is still unused, and I am trying to experiment on localhost using the new wordpress and avada 6.2, but the demo installation and plugin installs are failing with curl errors. I am using MAMP 5.6. Is there an issue, or am I missing something? I put the plugins in manually, but all I got in the demo was the theme settings, and no content or pages/posts. Any help possible?

After Avada Theme Update Fusion Slider does not work anymore. Fusion Slider itself can’t be updated less avada is updated.
