No plans currently unfortunately – at the moment we are focussed on refreshing and maintaining our current themes, but will certainly keep this in mind.

Ghost doesn’t natively support multi-level menus at the time for writing, so this is not something we offer in our themes. Should this feature become a core feature then we will add support. I would recommend making a feature suggestion on the Ghost ‘Ideas’ forum.

Is the search and dark mode option available? Is there a new Ghost theme in the works?
Any plans to add “post-reading-time” on mobile?
It does show on developer tools but not on my Android HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle

We are currently investigating possible solutions for search, as this is currently not a core Ghost feature. We hope to add this functionality in the next theme update. As for dark mode, this is planned, but won’t likely make it into the next update.
As for the reading time, certain non-critical elements are hidden on smaller viewports as part of the responsive layout. If you prefer, this could easily be re-enabled via some custom CSS. If you decide to purchase Astro get in contact via our support site and we will be happy to assist with his.
If this has been throughly thought and there is a reasoning for having these elements hidden that is good for me. Thank you for the quick reply. Looking forward for the next update! Almost forgot, do you have a new ghost theme in the works?
We don’t have any news to share on new themes at the moment – currently our focus is on existing themes, for example, we just released a major rework to our Orca theme.
Your search solution lacks a lot of design.
As previously mentioned, Ghost core does not include search functionality, so we are extremely limited with how we can implement this until it becomes a core feature.
Our current implementation of search works well from our testing. If you are having any issues or have suggestions for improvements please open a ticket on our support site and we will be happy to review.

Still using this theme after a while and still love it. Do you ever plan on making an Astro V2 or updating this version to support native dark mode? That would be killer! Also, things are still looking great for Ghost 3.6. No issues to report. Thanks for all your hard work!

We had a major overhaul of Astro in our version 4 release, which included a full design refresh (with a similar aesthetic style), and recode from scratch. We also recently released our version 5 update which adds support for the new Ghost 3 features such as paid subscriptions. You can download the most recent version of Astro from your ThemeForest downloads page.
As for dark mode this is a popular feature request, and something we are planning to add support for in the near future, although we have no exact date currently for this.
Hello, I find this theme highly interesting and fitting to my needs. However, before I make a purchase, I want to be sure about two things.
To my knowledge, the Ghost is all about 3rd party integrations for extensibility. (e.g. Disqus for comments)
1. Does it include search of blog?
2. What do you recommend as integration for contact and search (if search is not included)?

1. At the current time Ghost core does not include search functionality, this is however marked as a planned feature on the Ghost community forums. If this is an important feature for your publication then I suggest voting for this within the forum thread. When this functionality comes to Ghost core we will certainly be updating Astro to add support.
2. There are third-party solutions for search in Ghost, but from our prior testing of these we found them to not provide a reliable experience, due to either performance issues or lack of multilingual support. There have been updates to these integrations since this however, so we will revisit this and may add theme support in the future if we find them to provide a satisfactory experience.
As for a contact form, I would recommend checking out FormSpree, or any of the other form integrations listed by Ghost.
