You can go to Enfold theme options > Layout Builder and enable “Lock advanced layout builder”. That would lock the elements however they would still be visible.

Envato has updated their API and we have implemented those changes in Enfold 4.5 which means versions older than 4.5 would need to be updated manually – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp. After updating the theme, you can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and generate a Personal Token to insert in Enfold theme options to receive future updates.

You can edit the theme and replace all the content with yours. After activating the theme, you can go to Enfold theme options > Demo Import and import any demo – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-overview/ you like with a single click within a few minutes. So you would have the same styling, with your own content

Yes, it would but you might need to re-configure some options/settings such as widgets and header. To be on the safe side, please create a testing environment and update the theme there. If you run into any issues, you can start a thread on our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/ and share login credentials of your testing environment and we can help you correct the issues.

I personally updated many old versions of Enfold for our users and did not have any issues but in case you do, we are always on the forums

It does not show in plugins list as it is included in the theme. If you have a standalone version of LayerSlider, you can deactivate bundled versin in Enfold theme options > Layout Builder > Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin and install standalone version

We will include the latest version in upcoming Enfold update.

Have you tried installing any premium WordPress theme? If there are certain limitations such as memory limit etc., those might cause issues with premium themes but other than that, i think it would work fine. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee though as I have no experience with Microsoft Azure

1- Our devs are currently working on frontend page builder. We are evaluating our options. Seems like you would recommend us to go with Elementor but if you have any other suggestions, please share

2- We focused more on improving the theme and extending features that is why we have not added any new demos recently however we are surely going to add new ones soon.

3- Making header changes in current version causes other issues so we were extra cautious when it comes to header changes but we are definitely considering adding header builder option as well. Again, if you have any other suggestions other than Elementor, please do share

4- I honestly do not have much experience with page builders other than Enfold’s Advanced Layout Builder. If we integrate one of the page builders I believe this issue would be solved as well as workflow issue you described above?

We have built our Hotel theme using WooCommerce that is why it is necessary to install the plugin to import demo. You can simply go to Plugins > Add New and add WooCommerce plugin, active it, import Hotel demo and then you can delete WooCommerce

Thanks, BTW I want to know if possible the ALB classical block convert to gutenberg block without shortcode in the future? Now I found if I use ABL and gutenberg editor, the block content will lost. Currently there lots of theme builder with shortcode system, it’s unreadable for us.
