The Material masonry style does not crop the aspect ratio of featured images. In order to have that functionality, a modification would either be needed for the blog files or a different masonry style would be needed. The “Classic enhanced” style does crop the aspect ratio for featured images
When using the toggle accordion, is there a way to make it so that if the minimal design is selected and you click on the minus icon it will close the panel? Right now I have it set to allow accordion toggles. I would like the user to be able to close the accordion as well as open it.

That functionality would only be possible if you turn off the accordion option. Without doing so, a modification would be required to the underlying javascript logic in the salient/js/init.js file

When I try to update the theme by re-uploading salient.zip with “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” plugin, it seems to only update my theme to 10.5.2. And after updating to 10.5.2, it seems my header image takes longer to load now.
Never mind, i got it to update successfully finally! But i don’t see the “post grid” element available.

You can add this into the custom CSS box in the Salient options panel to achieve that:

Since you’re using the fancy box element with lazy loading inside of a carousel, please either change the carousel script to the more modern option (flickity) or turn off the lazy loading option within each fancy box.

Hey plasmedia, You can alter the slug from portfolio to another word in the theme options, but removing it would require custom modding.

We switched from using premium stock images to royalty free through unsplash.com a couple of years ago. Legacy demos such as the Agency site can’t include the demo images due to the usage licsense they come with and are thus swapped with placeholders. We can provide the import file that includes the images if you would like, but you’ll need to still swap the images out.

I checked several demos and I see the possibility to set up an off-canvas menu but it is all located on the right side of the screen (this demo for example) :

It would be easy to move the off canvas menu icon in the menu to the left side, but unfortunately moving the actual off canvas menu positioning to the left would require custom modding beyond just CSS.

The content in the extra content editor within the portfolio post type is technically a custom metabox, and WordPress doesn’t automatically add that into the search results. You can add it in by using the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/

Can you try to disable the option for “One Page Scroll Support (Animated Anchor Links)” in the Salient options panel > general settings > functionality tab to see if that corrects the issue?
That worked. The page has to reload but at least it’s working now.
Is there a way to sort reviews by date or default to “newest first”? How about modifying the amount shown per page? Currently it’s only showing 5 reviews per page which isn’t a whole lot.
Hey ehong33234, you can specify the number of reviews per page in the Settings > Discussion from the Wordpress dashboard. Then under “Other comment Settings” check the box that says “Break comments into pages with [number]....”
is there a place where i can replace the Logo Light? i don’t see anywhere, i replaced the two logos on the theme settings but the light logo stays with the salient, even if i delete it and change the link path to the original one with mine it displays a broken link, so how do i change the logo light version?
