My theme expired and I just renewed it today, it still won’t let me update. “There is a new version of Automotive Listings available. View version 15.5 details. ” Just says failed… also it will not let me sign in to make a support ticket. thanks
Sorry to hear you are having trouble! Please go to our support site at https://support.themesuite.com and under My Products and click Grab Envato Products. This will update your support status and you will be able to open a ticket so we can investigate. This is just a one time thing, in the future after you do this it will automatically update when you renew your support. We responded to your support ticket, however in case you see this first, it appears your website is getting blocked by some sort of process on your server, most of the errors have a “Execution error – PCRE limits exceeded”. You will need to contact your host to increase these limits so the demo content can fully import.

Thanks for considering our products! We offer an alternative style for the product pages, what you see on our demo site is just one of the options. You can adjust the settings under Theme Options >> Page Settings >> WooCommerce and switch it to a different layout. You can also switch the shop inventory pages between fullwidth or boxed, switch the sidebar from left to right, decide if you want to display related products beside or below the description on the products, whether you want the title and description below the image or just display images, etc. You can also customize the Checkout if you want it fullwidth or sidebar.

Is the theme compatible with woocommerce 4.0.0?
Thanks for reaching out with the question! One of the WooCommerce template files (shipping-calculator.php) in the theme will be updated in the next release, but outside of that all indications are that everything is compatible as we haven’t run into any issues thus far. Our demo site is running on WooCommerce 4.0.0 if you want to try it out. Certainly if you run into any problems please let us know and we will address them right away. We have full intentions of continuing to support WooCommerce going forward into the future.
Is the use of the page builder mandatory or can I get rid of it?
Same question for WOO: can we completely remove WC if there are no sales online?
It is not mandatory to use the WPBakery page builder, but the demo content and a lot of the shortcodes are setup and optimized to use it.
WooCommerce can definitely be disabled and removed if you don’t need it.
Thanks but it’s really a pity bloating those themes with useless page builders! Even for people really using them they already all switched to Elementor…

There are a lot of users that aren’t experts, and our goal at the end of the day is to make the user experience as easy as possible by enabling customers (that may not otherwise have been able) to create a successful website. As WordPress continues to advance hopefully we will get to the point where we can eliminate including a page builder, but for the foreseeable future we will be continuing to provide one.
OK, I understand but better switch to Elementor then.
We may look at adding Elementor support in the future as it is a great product with growing support, but there are also a lot of people that hate it with a passion and would prefer WPBakery for various reasons. Every customer has different wants and needs and we try to do our best to accommodate as much as possible. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts and opinions!

Automotive WP file must be broken ! it can’t be updated on WP!
If you are using a fairly old version you may need to manually update the theme and Automotive Listings plugin via FTP and then reconnect your account under Theme Options >> Update Settings because Envato has discontinued their old API system. If you are on a newer version, please open up a Support Ticket including temporary login details so we can investigate. Thanks!
I finally updated the file and installed in Word Press, then also installed your Plugins on my “Test” Word Press account [prado-kaitori]. So, I decided to use your theme and updated again on “Real” Word Press account but can’t install your Pragins ! How can you assist ? I need to buy one more ?

You don’t need to use WPBakery to add or edit inventory listings, it is all very easy to use in a point and click interface

Can you please tell me why my website logo is used in place of vehicle pictures before they are taken, disappear once in awhile? It happens once every 4-6 months…except it happened yesterday & again today. I have to go and replace each one. Thanks!
Are you meaning the image you have set under Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> ‘No Image Found’ Image is disappearing? Just confused by “I have to go and replace each one” because this is a global setting, you set it once and it is set for all listings that don’t have any images. We haven’t had any other reports of other customers having this disappear off hand, but you are welcome to open up a Support Ticket including your website details and we would be happy to have a look at whatever the issue is! Does the theme have support for “Miles” instead of “Kilometers”, we are currently using the theme and it is working well however the “Trade in Form” shows “Kilometres” which our client would like to change to miles. Let me know if this is supported currently. Thanks.
Yes, this is fully supported. You just need to change the term under Listings >> Listing Categories, and for the forms can either translate the term ‘miles’ into ‘kilometers’ (covered in the Documentation under ‘Translating Using Poedit’), or you can setup a custom form in Contact Form 7 and place the shortcode under Listing Options >> Custom Forms to override the integrated forms. I was wondering if it was possible to customise the site for it to be for trucks (lorries) instead of cars. I was looking to add additional fields such as Cab Type, for it to be a drop down menu and have Single, Single sleeper, Day Cab etc. In addition are the colours customisable as well? Many thanks!
Yes absolutely, the Listing Categories are completely customizable and adding these would be very easy! We have lots of customers using it for trucks. The colors are also very easy to change in a few clicks.

We are not aware of any other customers are experiencing this issue, so without being able to debug the problem it is really hard to say what is causing it. Disabling any 3rd party plugins was the right place to start, but if that isn’t the problem we will need to debug it in order to understand what is going on. We can only do this if you have active support, so if your support has expired on you will need to first renew your support on ThemeForest on the product page and then you will be able to open a support ticket to submit your login details. If for some reason it doesn’t allow you to open a ticket after renewing you may need to go to ‘My Products’ and click ‘Grab Envato Products’. First I would recommend disabling any additional plugins you have added outside of WPBakery Page Builder, Revolution Slider, Contact Form 7, WooCommerce, YoastSEO. If that doesn’t fix the problem then please open up a support ticket at https://support.themesuite.com including temporary wp-admin and FTP login details so we can have a look at this for you. I’m having issues placing video into the single listing sidebar. I have noticed that youtube videos show but not my self hosted videos.
Are there any particular settings needed to show self hosted videos ?
It should work fine with self hosted videos as well, I just tried one here and it works fine for me. No special settings or anything.
