For some reason, the pagebuilder freezes everytime I click an orange gear icon. This is the only thing in the javascript console that seems relevant: “[DOM] Found 4 elements with non-unique id #_ajax_nonce:”
The fix mentioned 3 months ago on the file framework/javascript/gdlr-edit-box.js: line 22, did not fix this problem and hte edit box stays hidden.
EDIT: Nevermind, the issue was actually fixed. For some reason my browser’s “Reload the page and ignore cache” button did not ignore the cache, I guess.

Thank you for quick response. The change to the gdlr-edit-box.js did not make any difference. I think that may be for slider issues only? In my case it is being able to edit the page builder at the bottom of an editable page. All buttons are frozen.

1. Can you try to disable all other plugins first and see if it’s fixed or not.
2. Please make sure that you update the theme to latest version : https://goodlayers.ticksy.com/article/1893/
3. Please clear website’s cache if you’re using caching plugin and also make sure that you clear browser cache.
After you updated the theme and still have issues, please make sure to follow this.
1. Make sure that you clear browser cache or test with another browser and see if the problem fixed or not.
2. Try to deactivate other plugins (except GoodLayers plugins). See if it’s fixed or not.
3. Go to theme options and click on ‘Save Changes’ button.
Then follow the instruction again and let me know if this helps or not.

Following up for the benefit of others who may read this. Disabling plugins did the trick, it was Wordfence in our case, and the firewall was overly protective, but now is working.
Meanwhile a new issue emerged, once able to use the pagebuilder. The sidebars only allow the default setting, no matter what option is selected, it will reset to default each time. Thoughts?

I don’t know why but your page builder is not working any longer. Theres no possibility to edit items. It’s neither possible to turn it off nor getting information in any error messages. I’m a little helpless. Is it PHP 7.4 compatible? Or is it tested with the newest WP-version?
Maybe you can check that in your own installation.

You can revert back to 5.4.2 with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-downgrade/.

This has the bones to be a good theme, but seems out of date and lacks a number of features offered by many other providers/themes. A freelancer is required for many changes, which continually adds to the build cost. Definitely hard to say that the theme is worth the higher price tag. And it was disappointing when the solution to some of our change requests, was to upgrade to another theme of theirs, which we politely declined.

Hi, I have a client who has an old, old version of The Luxury. She wants her site upgraded and has over 30 pages. Rather than recreate the pages in another theme and builder will those pages transfer intact if I buy this theme and update it on the site? Near as I can figure out it’s version 1.02. I’d rather update and maintain the pages than have to recreate them. Can you help?

If you just need update to new version, feel free to purchase and update it. The current page still available at it should.
But in case you want re-create these pages again, I recommend check our new theme come with new page builder version (The Luxury use page builder ver 2 and new theme use page builder ver 3).

Hello! I have a problem with the template
When I add any of the “Content/Post Type Item” options, they all work fine, except for the “content” option, which when I edit it to add content, then I can’t close it or save the changes and it forces me to rewrite the page, so I lose that content.
