Hi, we can’t recreate other layouts ourselves but you have a powerful page builder in Journal with lots of modules so you are free to create any layout you want.
We may create one or more single product layouts in the near future but I don’t have a timeframe now.

But there are powerful layout tools in Journal to allow you to create single product pages. Basically add modules with only that products and basically limit everything around it.
Journal is a fully dynamic system, our demos are not hardcoded, you can create pretty much any layout you wish.
But we’ll be working on more demos too, just don’t have a timeframe now.

The only option i see is to buy another licence. So i purchase another licence and add the 12 months support? Aslo a new question: Support comes with the purchased licence regarding the spesific domain name, or if i have 2 purchased licences with one expired i get support for both of them? There should be the option for support only, but in any case, a new license is better because it is not much more than the support, and you get an extra license to use on a different store (the 1-year support covers all licenses).
I have a couple of questions:
1. All of the live previews for Journal have a category drop down attached to the header search box – is this a feature of Journal 3 and if so, can the list be customised to contain just a few categories as opposed to all?
2. I have a site that is still running Journal 2, if I upgrade to Journal 3 will all my settings and design be transferred over or will I have to start over?

1. Yes, it’s built-in. You can load all categories or just the top ones (first level parent).
2. Start over. Journal 3 is a completely new system recoded from scratch.

I found your theme looks good. Its already integrated with opencart or I need to integrate it? All the functionalities you shown in theme will work like filter searching. What about these extensions – Webkul Opencart Extensions, MultiMerch Marketplace Extension, for what purpose you used these extensions and can you please provide me exact links for the extensions used on this theme, so that I can check and verify how much it will cost extra.
Hi, Opencart does not come bundled with Journal. You have to first install a free copy of Opencart on your server and then install Journal on top.
Webkul and Multimerch have multi-vendor extensions available for Opencart, which are compatible with Journal as well (supported by their developers). These are sold separately and not included with Journal.
Journal does not include any 3rd party modules in the demos, all you see in our demos are own own modules and features which come bundled with the theme.

Thank you for the reply, I found extensions are for multi vendor purpose, but they are costly. Is your theme contains this multi vendor extension/module/functionality? I mean once we install your theme, can we have this multi vendor functionality by default or do I need to buy from them to have multi vendor functionality? Please confirm.
We do not have multi vendor functionality included, you will have to buy it separately.

Hi, that doesn’t seem something theme related, there is no mf_tooltip column in standard Opencart database nor Journal, your issue is related to a third party extension which has modified your database structure, check your installed extensions.

just a small question please. Just notice that on mobile, all categories are set to show 2 products per line. It’s like I want, and I know where to change that.
But just found today , by accident, if I click on a brand, when I open that category / brand page it shows 4 products per line. It shows too small. Where can I change that please?
Hi, you’d have to work with the items per row in Journal > Skins > Edit > Product Listing > Products per Row.
You have options for pages with no columns and pages with one or two columns. In your case it appears that layout has no columns and thus different items per row apply.

Hi, I read some question regarding this matter and your answer was in future updates you will consider it: Can the email subject for contact form be changed (for the admin email alert), also the same for a new subsriber (currently an email with the website name as a subject only shows).

Does anybody know how to completely disable the Infinite Scroll on Journal 2 on Opencart 2.3.02. I disabled it from Settings – Category Page but it is still working. I cannot find this information anywhere and I cannot get any help. Please I just need this filter to be disabled.

Hi – Is it possible to create a new skin in J3 and then import Demo 1 data into it, Configure it and Save it under New Skin 1. Again Create New Skin 2 and Import Demo 2 data into it and save it under New Skin 2.
Then go to J3>System>Settings. I Only See Default there to choose from. The new Skins I created don’t appear there. Am trying in 3.0.46. I have only one store to set it. Is it not possible to create and save multiple skins and apply?
Hi, you can create any number of skins but you cannot import multiple demos, every time you import demo data any existing data will be overwritten.

J2 had option to choose multiple active skins from Demo in just a click. Is there any way to import any specific module settings or Skin settings from a different Demo to the current running theme of the website in J3?
Journal 3 uses reusable styles and variables, and this prevents partial import since those are interchangeable between skins, modules, etc. So in J3 you’d have to recreate that module in your own admin.
Thats true. Lots of flexibility and options in J3! Can J2 and J3 Co-exist under same admin? Anything specific that causes conflict? This would help to keep developing on J3 while J2 is still on!
We don’t recommend that. You should run J3 in a local environment while in development and then make the switch.

Hi, sure you can create different page layout styles in Journal > Styles > Page Layout (with a different site or content width) and apply that style on desired layout, for example Journal > Layouts > Blog Post (or any other) and your new style will apply.

Every time there is an update for Journal3 I feel like a child on Christmas morning. I’ve held off on opening the last couple “packages” though because we have various modifications that sometimes need to be recoded with an update of Journal. It’s been a while since an update so I was waiting for the next update but if it’s going to be a more than 3 weeks I’ll go ahead and update to 3.0.46 this weekend.
