On the Job Alerts page I see there is a “Job Region” field – does the theme support job alerts using an actual location through autocomplete (similar to the search field on the main site) to allow candidates to specify the location to match on the job alerts?

I have tried using the ‘Say What?’ plugin to replace instances of ‘resume’ with ‘CV’ but it isn’t working. I followed the instructions on this page http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/how-to-change-some-texts-words/ but nothing happens! Am I missing something?

Are all the elements text customizable? For instance, if we wanted all instances of “job” to actually say “career”, could we edit all the buttons, menu items, etc to reflect that? Or are some things not customizable?

I like the new dashboard in the 2.0 version, but how can one edit the dashboard menu? For instance:

do you have the additional plugins like Resume Manager etc? if you won’t have them on your site they won’t show up in the menu. If you want to rename some texts use http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/how-to-change-some-texts-words/
I have both resume and alerts plugins and I can separately access pages containing relevant plugin short codes. But the ‘browse resumes’ and ‘view job alerts’ still don’t appear in the employer or candidate dashboards respectively.
Have you set those pages in Resumes -> Settings -> Pages? for job alerts it’s in Job Listings -> Settings if I remember correctly

Yes, check the default child theme, compare it with yours. I don’t know what changes you did but most likely it’s something with the workscout_enqueue_styles in child theme

1. We have upgraded from WorkScout 1.x to WorkScout 2.0.7.
We were previously using WooCommerce Log-in option.
It appears we cannot log-in the same way as before, and can only log-in using the WordPress login box.
Can you please advise on the correct shortcode for the WorkScout Log-In form which was previously workscout_login_form ?
2. Also, it appears the shortcode for the list of Job Manager companies is not operating with WorkScout 2.x. Please advise on correct shortcode which was previously job_manager_companies

- The “Search” button on my home page filters the page results. I would like to go on a new page with all the results associated with my search. Is it possible?
- Why the published job offers (with the “location” field completed thanks to the Google Map autocompletion) do not appear on the map?
- Is it possible to create a standard banner image for all job offers (on the top)? If yes, where can I put it?
- Is it possible to display Wpbakery blocks with a conditional display (ex: if connected> we do not display the block)

ad2. Have you configured Google Maps API key for Job Listing -> Settings? That’s needed to geocode jobs when you create them
ad3. Edit workscout/single-job_listing.php and replace $header_image = get_post_meta($post->ID, ‘pp_job_header_bg’, TRUE); with $header_image = “URL_TO_YOUR_IMAGE”;
ad4. I don’t think so, maybe there’s some add-on for WPBakery that adds such functionality but I’m not aware of it.
