Please note that WPbakery and Layer Slider do come bundled within the theme and you do not need to activate any license for it as bundled plugins do get updated when the theme is.

For some reason my header menu never highlights the “home” item when the page is at the top position. It always highlights the second menu item instead. The anchors are all set up properly, if the page is scrolled down and I click the “home” menu item it does shoot up to the top, but it doesn’t smooth scroll and it highlights the second anchor item, not “home.” Any ideas why this happens?

Thank you for getting back to me I have had to reinstall the site as it keeps crashing when installing the theme. Tried going back to Wordpress 5.2 but it won’t work. Just wondering if it’s due to have the new Wordpress update version 5.3.2.

Hi, we are using your theme for a few years now, today we tried to add a video background using the Elated Slider but the video background is not showing up on iPhone devices. Can you let me know how we can enable it for iPhone devices?

Elated Slider is using HTML5 video. Not all mobile devices can playback HTML5 video properly, and to make the slider appear uniformly across all mobile devices video playback is disabled in the JavaScript.
As a fallback you can use Video Preview Image feature. Click on Upload button next to Video Preview Image label in Elated Slide Video section. Standard WordPress media dialogue appears. Choose an existing file from Media Library tab or upload a new image from Upload Files tab into Media library. Select image and click on Select Image button. Or if you want to have playing video on mobile, we would like to suggest to use Layer Slider instead.

The theme and plugins are up to date. My support has expired, but this may be an issue with the latest update. Are you seeing this error on your end?
Is the theme compatible with php 7.2? That’s what we’re running, could that be causing the error?

Yes, our theme is fully compatible with PHP 7.2 version as you can see in our themes change-log. As this is a warning and not an error your theme will work as intended. You could eventually edit your wp_config.php file and turn WP_DEBUG to false.

I note a malfunction in the product detail page, where the detail section is now blank (both title and content) even if the text is present in the admin product section. Thank you for notifying us about it. There is a fix but you will need to edit our themes file, so please navigate to wp-content\themes\moose\woocommerce\single-product\tabs\tabs.php
You will need to change line 59 and 63 which you can see in the screenshot
Replace it with this: Line 59:

Hey, In the Elated Options > Logo, I have added my own logo everywhere, but it doesn’t show up in the menu. I have two menus: a top left and a top right and I would like to have the logo in the middle. The thing that I don’t understand is that it does show up in the menu on the temporary page that I made, but not on the home page that I am working on right now.
I have changed the site icon (512×512) and in the Elated Options > logo, I have changed all of the logo’s to our logo.
Can you help me?

I am putting together a portfolio, but I can’t seem to figure out how to link from a portfolio item to another page. I would like to be able to click on a portfolio image and go to a page where I can show more images and write something about the project. How do I go about this?

If you’re referring to a Portfolio List item linking to the portfolio page, this is the default functionality and you should be able to set it up by adding the Portfolio List shortcode within a page of your choosing.

I am installing the demo (child theme). The instructions say to install WooCommerce first if you want to use it. Right now we’re not going to use WooCommerce.
