Hi, I am planning to start online courses video website. Can I hide the content or series with this theme? Members will pay first to unlock the contents that’s what I want for my paid series. Security should be top notch as I don’t want to loose any money (Link should be encrypted).... Can I do that with this theme without any hassle?

You can hide content and series as the basic WordPress features allow, like a post or a page: you can turn your content to public, private or draft.
Regarding the membership features, Vlogger doesn’t include any of these features because it’s meant to be in conjunction with third party plugins such memberpress paid membership pro.

Just remember that all the third plugins will work nicely but you will need to add some custom graphic edits to match your design.

Hello! We did not test our theme with Armember but lots of our customers use membership plugins succhi as Membership Pro and Buddypress without any issue.

Hello! You can use third party plugins that could help with your request. The feature you mentioned is not included with the theme but as said before you can add it to the theme via plugins.

Can I add a static image instead of video? I need to add image only on some posts, since it is video blogger style, it only shows video but I want/need to just have image on top most/entry without the play button

Hello dadyss and thanks for reaching us. To include a video on a post just copy and paste the YouTube or Vimeo url on your post content.
You can check how to do it on our video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojzZXzAXDQsJust keep in mind to create a new post and paste the video url. Posts imported with the demo, they will not work.

I don’t really get the thumbs issue . You can add or replace any thumbnails of your video through the post featured image. You can autogenerate thumbnails from your video source thanks to a third party plugins called Video Thumbnails. Regarding the YouTube video issue, just try to add your video in the form https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id and not with the shorten version on a brand new post.

In order to sell your courses, you can look for third-party plugins like Membership Pro or Learnpress. These could help you selling your course but you will need some CSS customizations to get it fit properly with theme.

Houston we have a problem! I just recently extended my support and I’m trying to get access to the forum support but for some reason there’s a messages saying my support has expired. I refreshed the page like it’s says but it keep saying the same thing. How long do I need to wait in order to get access to the forum and get some support ?

Hello! It usually takes 24 hours to Envato to send us the support renewal, meaning if you have the support expired, renew and than still can’t login, it is a matter of time.

Hello and thanks for reaching us. With Vlogger you will be able to build pages as you prefer thanks to the included WP Bakery Page Builder. There are lots of shortcodes you can choose from such as sliders, grid and carousel of video posts. You can count on video tutorials where is shown how to build pages, a well documented online manual and our tech support ( included with the purchase for 6 months).
Currently Elementor is not compatible with our product but WP Bakery Page Builder is quite similar and easy to use.

Hello maxqsoft and thanks for reaching us. Both video importer and thumbnail plugins are currently working fine with our theme. If necessary we can suggest you another importing free plugins, but as sais previously it’s not necessary to make your YouTube videos being imported on Vlogger.
The thumbnail plugin is not required, it will just help you importing your cover images from YouTube videos.

Glad to help! I really like your template, but one more thing: On each demo, on the video homepage where the video plays in the background, it is not working on mobile android devices. Will/should the video show up and auto play on mobile devices?
Hello! Autoplay video are disabled by default on both Android and iOS devices for security reasons (it doesn’t depend on the theme you choose). Our advice is to add a fallback image so desktop users could see the video, mobile ones would see a static image.

Unfortunately, that is not true. I really love your theme for several reasons, but your answer about this issue concerns me in using yours.There are actually plenty of sites and themes out there that allow a video to autoplay in the background on a mobile device. Check out Trawell or Inspiro themes for example. I guess I’ll have to go with something else for now. Thank you, though.

Hi! Our themes rely on WP Bakery Page Builder options and currently there is no option for video mobile background on mobile. In fact you can only add a Youtube video link and this can’t be reproduced automatically as video background.
Other themes like those you mentioned are including a specific extra setting that allow to add mp4 videos from your server.
I can discuss it with our developers but this is something that can be included in the next future due to we are developing other themes.

If you press the thumbnail vids in that theme above they all open right there, automatically. Does this theme have a similar setting options? Or does it always open in a new post?
